a pint of beer on a table
Mark C.

What do you do when you go to a brewery? You have a beer! Make a point of checking out Brink Brewing because the beer is FANTASTIC! Quite the variety to choose from. I'm a dark beer kind of guy and their porter and selections of stouts is wonderful. Pick any one and you will NOT be disappointed. Also, they have a happy hour from 3-6. (Not many breweries do). As far as service, John was great. Willing to let us try anything and talk about the beers. They were working on the back patio area when we were there but plenty of room on the inside. They let you bring in great Mexican food from 2 doors down. Absolutely one of the BEST breweries in Cincinnati.

I always enjoy Brink Brewing although I dont get to their side of town often, I continue to buy their beers other places. I recently visited again for the first time in a long time and it was cool to see how much it had grown. The outdoor patio is HUGE with ample seating of different types, a corn hole court and more. It is also nice to have a parking lot right behind the building. They do not serve food, so they are dog friendly. You are welcome to bring in outside food from the neighboring businesses.

See my prior review from 2019. Still killing it only better they've expand their patio added more tables and green space there's a few food places next door that will deliver and their beer is still always on point. I always stop in here when I'm visiting family in Cincinnati three times a year and I wish I could visit more.

Nice menu board with style of beer, ABV, and pricing.

This place has something for everyone! Lots of different beer styles on tap and all are done well. Clean and industrial inside with garage doors that open up to a street view. Staff were nice and engaging. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Moozie

My number one beer of choice in Cincinnati! Brink takes brewing seriously but also brings a lot of fun to the table. My top two favorites of the night, the Moozie (AWARD WINNING) and the Baby Yoda Juice! The Moozie is a milk stout that is smooth and had a strongly addicting flavor. The Baby Yoda Juice is a fruitful IPA that can be dangerous because one won't be enough. The staff there is super accommodating and everyone looks like they really enjoy their jobs. The atmosphere is very laid back and I look forward to hanging out in the back patio as it's warming up outside. Cincinnati has many breweries and will vote Brink as the top choice that you have to check out. Small brewery of the year two years in a row and double gold award winning beers (the Moozie and the Hold the Reins Mild). Can't wait to get back there soon!

I'd heard Brink won quite a few awards, but my inner skeptic was like, "oooooRLY?!????" Naturally, I had to see what all the hype was about for myself. I was in a saucy/ agitated mood from a rough week at work, and probably more critical than usual (...the claws were out)... In sum, I was impressed. While Brink has a range of tap choices from peanut butter porter to, "Baby Yoda Juice," (not being the biggest baby Yoda fan, I can only hope that's him blended to a purée) I can only comment on a very limited subset of a subset of their brews: their GF DebbieJ. The gluten-reduced Debbers was a real **sweet mama** and had a smooth quality that, first off, didnt taste like p*** (crudeness aside, this sets it apart from most gluten-extracted beers like Red Bridge and Omission, really... they're horrendous). I'd come back again just for another taste! Cincinnati clearly has some great breweries, but put a big red circle up top your Cincinnati map on College Hill, bcuz Brink's worth that trek up HamAve.

I had a super great time here! The beer was good and the environment is very laid back. They have a shelf in the corner that holds a variety of board games and on another wall there is Giant magnetic Scrabble which was fun for me to play while sipping a cold beer. The service was good which approachable bar staff. I ended up walking in here randomly to pass the hour wait time I had for a table at Kikis and I had so much fun playing scrabble with my husband I was a bit sad that my table was ready! Overall a good spot and would return

This place it's a pretty cool spot, Inside and on the outside where dogs are only allowed for people like me who always have their dogs with them. The staff is very friendly and nice, there's more than enough parking which is a big plus for me but I have to say that their beer is not something out of this world. They have a lot of trophies and medals around the area but to be honest I don't know why. I am not saying the beer is bad but I would expect a little more from a brewery. But after a couple they all start tasting better. The best thing though about this place is their location, they have a mofongo bar (Latin Cuisine) right beside them, a Mexican and a pizza place right to the other side and they have their own kitchen as well so while you have a few beers you can snack from a few different places just a few steps away. I live a little more than an hour away from them so for me I wouldn't plan a trip for their beers but when I am in the area I tend to stop by due to the restaurants they have around them and drink a couple of beers in the meantime, but obviously for the locals its a great place to hang out and get together with friends.

Brink is by far one of the most consistently great breweries. I've been coming here since it opened and I've never had a bad beer. They have very friendly bartenders that are ready to help you decide on what to try if unsure. They have 3 tv's that you can watch sports on. Multiple great food choices in walking distance. They have a nice patio out back. That's also where free parking is but can get full since there are several restaurants around but there is another lot behind sleepy bee with lots more. The head brewer Drew makes some of the best beers I've ever had. He nails and expands on so many styles. They always have something on draft for everyone. If you're not a beer drinker there's cans of seltzers and wine. Check their Facebook as they have entertainment some nights with a run club Mondays and trivia Tuesdays.

I went in here with a date where we would both packed our own food, and the bartender was so cool about it. Obviously they welcomed people bringing their own food in, but she was offering us forks and knives and plates and all kinds of napkins, asking us how many beers we wanted to sample and wouldn't let me turn down a sample of the root beer they make in-house (which is both very good and very sweet). even going to step beyond that I asked for ice because I had a soda, and she gave it to me, hookup, despite the fact that it turns out they make ice by hand in individual trays and I just took her night supply of ice right then. Sorry! when you also consider that they have ample parking, comfortable seating arrangements, fun bar games and cards off to the side, you understand why this is a real neighborhood gym. Oh and they win a ton of awards for the beers, but I don't really drink so I couldn't be a good judge . It is a good spot to hang out

I've been wanting to come to brink for aGes and I was not disappointed! They are celebrating their birthday this month by serving up a unique stout every Friday! Man oh man are they delicious. They also have a variety of other beer styles but the stouts.. you can tell they are my favorite are the best! The location is nice and they Have their own parking lot but be warned the spots are small and it fills up fast! There are some street parking options arOund as well. We were able to snag a spot at the bar thankfully which was comfy and could chat with the baRtender about what's on tap and he could give recos. The only complaint is the need for sound deafening panels to be installed. The ceiliing is an old school metal but makes the space exceptionally loud. Brink doesn't serve up food but has some snacks At the bar. They allow you to bring in food so bring your snacks from your favorite place and enjoy the beers!!!

The Cincinnati brewing scene continues to grow and I am struggling to keep up with visiting all of the new options around town. One that I have visited and should be at the top of your list if you haven't is Brink Brewing Company. Brink is on Hamilton Avenue in the heart of College Hill and opened up earlier this year. My family and I spent the better part of an afternoon here. There is a really large communal table in the center of the room that provided plenty of space for our group and another group on the other end. My wife tried a flight of beers, and let me sample them as well, while I went right for a pint of one of their three IPA's that were on tap at the time. The tap list changes often and none of the IPA's that I sampled appear to be on the current list. Each of them were quite good, and I especially liked their Like A Boss the best. But what really stood out for me were the samples of darker beers. Their Brown Ale was one of the better that I've had and the Moozie Milk Stout seems to be a regular on the menu. They do not have a kitchen but there are plenty of places nearby (with menus inside) for carryout or delivery. They also often have food trucks on the weekend and live music on Friday nights. Brink is a wonderful addition to College Hill and is now one of my most highly recommended smaller breweries in town.

Stopped in recently for dinner after a Bengals game and had a great time. If you're leaving the…read morestadium area it's a 20 minute walk with some uphill, but well worth the trek to get ahead of the crowds. The bars near the stadium were mobbed. The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. The manager came around and introduced himself to everyone and was all over the place. Helping in the kitchen, bar, cleaning up etc.. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. I'll be honest I wanted to avoid BrewDog and Voodoo and experience home grown Cincinnati breweries, but we were really happy we stopped at Voodoo. Thanks guys you earned a fourth star for great friendly service from the manager and bartenders!!

We ordered extra hot wings, and the sauce was great but to make it "extra hot" they just added a metric ton of hot pepper or some hot seasoning, and it was nearly inedible. They were extremely over sauced. The fries were okay. My dry rub wings were good. It's basically self serve, you order on the website via QR code. They brought our food all at once due to that, to include the appetizer. Service was quick but we only saw our "waiter" once to deliver our food. If we had needed refills, we wouldn't have gotten them. We didn't even get silverware and only got one appetizer plate. The ambiance was nice, it's a great looking facility. I probably won't be back though, unfortunately. Just not great enough to bother going again. We did have one beer off the draft list that was good. The dragons milk.

The layout was pretty typical for them albeit on a smaller scale than their locations in Las Vegas and Columbus. Several bar areas, a gaming mezzanine, couches, art on the walls and a roof deck (wasn't open when we visited). The large L shaped bar was clean and manned by a nice fellow. We headed up to the mezzanine and played some games while watching the 4pm game on their big screens. Food wise - we didn't eat here, but I can tell you from past BrewDog experiences their wings are always on point. Beer wise - They had a good mix on their 24 or so taps - IPA/Pale Ales (8 on tap), ciders (4), stouts & dark beers (3), lagers & pilsner (2), sour & fruit-based (2) and five beers for a community beer festival that was running that weekend. $1 of every pint poured went to charity. I had a Winter Staycation at 7.5% - our seasonal stout that brings rich pecan and sweet toffee flavors right to your glass. Every sip is a warming blend of nostalgia and bold flavors, crafted to remind you of the comforts of the season. If you loved last year's cozy winter release, this one's sure to feel right at home. It was average with sweet pecan flavors, caramel, vanilla, toffee and tasted malts. Drank like a porter. It was OK which is what most of their beers are. Just above average in my humble opinion. From my experiences between BrewDog and Voodoo, it seems the outsiders are better options than the local breweries (except Northern Row they were good) in Cincinnati. Can't go wrong with visiting this BrewDog. Thanks guys!

This process was nice, as we didn't have to track anyone down or stare at a menu while trying to order with a line behind us. We got our beers from a friendly bartender, sat, and took our time scrolling through the menu. Our food came together, which was strange as we expected the wing appetizer to come first. The pizza was awesome! The cheese blend reminds me a lot of costcos. The wings were just okay. Maybe I am not a buffalo person, but overall they did not have much flavor. There are plugs here if you work remote, although I would NEVER do that. :P The beers are not the best I had in Cincy, but they are above the average in Cincy, so it is definitely above average. It is also a well-known, stable brewery. I understand Listermann recently sold the spot, so it will be interesting to see if there are changes going forward. The board is a bit heavy at this point, with quite a few brews over 10%. My feelings on the beers? The IPAs are decent, but they shine brightly with their stouts and pastry sours. The blackberry cobbler sour (12%) and Forbidden Imperial Stout got my top marks. Would love to return and see how the food is here, but spring break worked against me.
