I had come across Brink in my research for our road trip to Cincinatti but it was not necessarily one of the "big" names. When at another brewery the bartender gave it a recommendation. As soon as I looked at the taplist I was sold. My fiance and I are both big barleywine fans and they sometimes can be few and far between on taplists. Well not only did Brink have one on, but it was barrel aged to boot. It was called Levelled Up. This beer is dangerously smooth and delicious. The barrel flavor shines without being overpowering. You taste the malty barleywine. We couldn't resist having another. They have a parking lot behind the brewery and street parking in front. It was easy to park and enter through the back entrance. Service was very friendly and the place just had a good vibe. If we lived in town this would definitely be a brewery we would frequent.
What do you do when you go to a brewery? You have a beer! Make a point of checking out Brink Brewing because the beer is FANTASTIC! Quite the variety to choose from. I'm a dark beer kind of guy and their porter and selections of stouts is wonderful. Pick any one and you will NOT be disappointed. Also, they have a happy hour from 3-6. (Not many breweries do). As far as service, John was great. Willing to let us try anything and talk about the beers. They were working on the back patio area when we were there but plenty of room on the inside. They let you bring in great Mexican food from 2 doors down. Absolutely one of the BEST breweries in Cincinnati.
I always enjoy Brink Brewing although I dont get to their side of town often, I continue to buy their beers other places. I recently visited again for the first time in a long time and it was cool to see how much it had grown. The outdoor patio is HUGE with ample seating of different types, a corn hole court and more. It is also nice to have a parking lot right behind the building. They do not serve food, so they are dog friendly. You are welcome to bring in outside food from the neighboring businesses.

Still killing it only better they've expand their patio added more tables and green space there's a few food places next door that will deliver and their beer is still always on point. I always stop in here when I'm visiting family in Cincinnati three times a year and I wish I could visit more.
This place has something for everyone! Lots of different beer styles on tap and all are done well. Clean and industrial inside with garage doors that open up to a street view. Staff were nice and engaging. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area.
My number one beer of choice in Cincinnati! Brink takes brewing seriously but also brings a lot of fun to the table. My top two favorites of the night, the Moozie (AWARD WINNING) and the Baby Yoda Juice! The Moozie is a milk stout that is smooth and had a strongly addicting flavor. The Baby Yoda Juice is a fruitful IPA that can be dangerous because one won't be enough. The staff there is super accommodating and everyone looks like they really enjoy their jobs. The atmosphere is very laid back and I look forward to hanging out in the back patio as it's warming up outside. Cincinnati has many breweries and will vote Brink as the top choice that you have to check out. Small brewery of the year two years in a row and double gold award winning beers (the Moozie and the Hold the Reins Mild). Can't wait to get back there soon!
I'd heard Brink won quite a few awards, but my inner skeptic was like, "oooooRLY?!????" Naturally, I had to see what all the hype was about for myself. I was in a saucy/ agitated mood from a rough week at work, and probably more critical than usual (...the claws were out)... In sum, I was impressed. While Brink has a range of tap choices from peanut butter porter to, "Baby Yoda Juice," (not being the biggest baby Yoda fan, I can only hope that's him blended to a purée) I can only comment on a very limited subset of a subset of their brews: their GF DebbieJ. The gluten-reduced Debbers was a real **sweet mama** and had a smooth quality that, first off, didnt taste like p*** (crudeness aside, this sets it apart from most gluten-extracted beers like Red Bridge and Omission, really... they're horrendous). I'd come back again just for another taste! Cincinnati clearly has some great breweries, but put a big red circle up top your Cincinnati map on College Hill, bcuz Brink's worth that trek up HamAve.
This place it's a pretty cool spot, Inside and on the outside where dogs are only allowed for people like me who always have their dogs with them. The staff is very friendly and nice, there's more than enough parking which is a big plus for me but I have to say that their beer is not something out of this world. They have a lot of trophies and medals around the area but to be honest I don't know why. I am not saying the beer is bad but I would expect a little more from a brewery. But after a couple they all start tasting better. The best thing though about this place is their location, they have a mofongo bar (Latin Cuisine) right beside them, a Mexican and a pizza place right to the other side and they have their own kitchen as well so while you have a few beers you can snack from a few different places just a few steps away. I live a little more than an hour away from them so for me I wouldn't plan a trip for their beers but when I am in the area I tend to stop by due to the restaurants they have around them and drink a couple of beers in the meantime, but obviously for the locals its a great place to hang out and get together with friends.
I had a super great time here! The beer was good and the environment is very laid back. They have a shelf in the corner that holds a variety of board games and on another wall there is Giant magnetic Scrabble which was fun for me to play while sipping a cold beer. The service was good which approachable bar staff. I ended up walking in here randomly to pass the hour wait time I had for a table at Kikis and I had so much fun playing scrabble with my husband I was a bit sad that my table was ready! Overall a good spot and would return
I went in here with a date where we would both packed our own food, and the bartender was so cool about it. Obviously they welcomed people bringing their own food in, but she was offering us forks and knives and plates and all kinds of napkins, asking us how many beers we wanted to sample and wouldn't let me turn down a sample of the root beer they make in-house (which is both very good and very sweet). even going to step beyond that I asked for ice because I had a soda, and she gave it to me, hookup, despite the fact that it turns out they make ice by hand in individual trays and I just took her night supply of ice right then. Sorry! when you also consider that they have ample parking, comfortable seating arrangements, fun bar games and cards off to the side, you understand why this is a real neighborhood gym. Oh and they win a ton of awards for the beers, but I don't really drink so I couldn't be a good judge . It is a good spot to hang out
Brink is by far one of the most consistently great breweries. I've been coming here since it opened and I've never had a bad beer. They have very friendly bartenders that are ready to help you decide on what to try if unsure. They have 3 tv's that you can watch sports on. Multiple great food choices in walking distance. They have a nice patio out back. That's also where free parking is but can get full since there are several restaurants around but there is another lot behind sleepy bee with lots more. The head brewer Drew makes some of the best beers I've ever had. He nails and expands on so many styles. They always have something on draft for everyone. If you're not a beer drinker there's cans of seltzers and wine. Check their Facebook as they have entertainment some nights with a run club Mondays and trivia Tuesdays.
I've been wanting to come to brink for aGes and I was not disappointed! They are celebrating their birthday this month by serving up a unique stout every Friday! Man oh man are they delicious. They also have a variety of other beer styles but the stouts.. you can tell they are my favorite are the best! The location is nice and they Have their own parking lot but be warned the spots are small and it fills up fast! There are some street parking options arOund as well. We were able to snag a spot at the bar thankfully which was comfy and could chat with the baRtender about what's on tap and he could give recos. The only complaint is the need for sound deafening panels to be installed. The ceiliing is an old school metal but makes the space exceptionally loud. Brink doesn't serve up food but has some snacks At the bar. They allow you to bring in food so bring your snacks from your favorite place and enjoy the beers!!!
This is a great brewhouse. We always enjoy their beers. Try the Kaiju hazy IPA. Staff is great and you can bring food in. Very nice patio outback with corn hole. They have the garage doors on street side for the warm weather. Nice effect. Parking out back. read more

I always enjoy Brink Brewing although I dont get to their side of town often, I continue to buy their beers other places. The Cincinnati brewing scene continues to grow and I am struggling to keep up with visiting all of the new options around town. One that I have visited and should be at the top of your list if you haven't is Brink Brewing Company. Brink is on Hamilton Avenue in the heart of College Hill and opened up earlier this year. My family and I spent the better part of an afternoon here. There is a really large communal table in the center of the room that provided plenty of space for our group and another group on the other end. My wife tried a flight of beers, and let me sample them as well, while I went right for a pint of one of their three IPA's that were on tap at the time. The tap list changes often and none of the IPA's that I sampled appear to be on the current list. Each of them were quite good, and I especially liked their Like A Boss the best. But what really stood out for me were the samples of darker beers. Their Brown Ale was one of the better that I've had and the Moozie Milk Stout seems to be a regular on the menu. They do not have a kitchen but there are plenty of places nearby (with menus inside) for carryout or delivery. They also often have food trucks on the weekend and live music on Friday nights. Brink is a wonderful addition to College Hill and is now one of my most highly recommended smaller breweries in town. read more
Great brewery in the College Hill neighborhood, great open space, love the reclaimed wood in the brewery and variety of beer options to choose from all made on site. The brewery was pretty full on a Wednesday evening with patrons on the deck behind the brewery and in the space. I went with Apricot Debbie Jean, an apricot blonde ale perfect on a late summer evening. The brewery is really bringing the neighborhood back to life, great to see so many great local breweries popping up in Cincinnati neighborhoods. Stop by when you're in College Hill and enjoy at great beer served by a great staff. read more

These guys do beer right. Love all their beers, as do others based on all the awards they've won. My favorite is the Moozie Milk Stout. No food in house but they have a terrific Puerto Rican restaurant right next door called Mashed Roots that delivers to your table. Highly recommend! read more
I have only been here 3 times but each time I left a little confused how they win the medals they do. Tonight I was lured in by the Big Brothers Big Sisters charity event. Sucking down pints for charity sounds awesome right? It is, unless the beer isn't that good. I love the building, the people are always nice, parking is never a problem, I just haven't been impressed with anything to hit my glass. Tonight I started with their Amber. I can't describe what I was tasting but it had an unpleasant aftertaste. It was clear and looked good. I just didn't enjoy it. Next I ordered the ESB. Again, it looked good, it just wasn't drinkable in my opinion. It was sour and tasted like tea. This is supposed to be malty. I didn't get that at all. I didn't drink even a quarter of a pint when I ordered their award winning stout. The bartender noticed I didn't really even touch the ESB and asked my opinion. I gave it to her. She tasted it and agreed it was off. She had two employees sitting at the bar try it. That led them to change the keg. He dumped 2 full pitchers before he tasted what he was looking for. He poured half pints for himself and the other employee. He ultimately finished his but the other employee left his on the bar unfinished. JUST LIKE MINE! The stout was good. Award winning? Maybe at this point I was no longer in an objective mood. I asked to cash out and to my surprise I was being charged for the pint I didn't and couldn't drink. Neither could either employees but I was expected to pay. When I questioned it the bartender at first was sort of insistent. After I pointed out that it was bad enough to change the keg she agreed to take it off. The regulars I spoke with all seemed to enjoy the convenience of this place because they lived close. This place is way out of the way for me and I didn't experience enough to make me want to go back. There is lots of competition in this space. I think people are growing tired of paying $6-$8 a pint for mediocre beer. I know I am. Congrats on the medals but don't forget, it's your customers opinions that matter. Not some judge that possibly had way too much beer that day. :) read more

I haven't tried a beer here that I haven't liked. The bartenders are always quick and helpful and the customers as well. Love this place. I can't wait until it gets warm out so I can enjoy the patio read more
Awesome venue and beer. Charity events pop-up food truck events awesome craft beers, and a wonderful setting with the patio as well as indoor seating. And very happy to help you choose the best beer or select the flight. Live music on weekends on the back porch make it a great spot to spend time enjoying a good beer read more

Fun brewery with good amount of outdoor seating! Met a group of friends here and we sat on the patio, so didn't venture inside other than to order a beer, but they have a good amount of space outside and in. They offer half pours but I didn't see anything about a flight. I got a tropical wheat, which was a good light summer type ale. Some tips: 1. There was a food truck when we went. Yum! 2. Board games inside. 3. Looks like there's a running group on Wednesday's ~6. I was just here to drink some beer but if you're interested in being healthy before you drink, looks like a great option. 4. They are doing a monthly glass series where a local artist designs a glass and then you can purchase that + a full pour for $15. Sounds like this is typically the first Wednesday of the month. This month's glass was gorgeous (see below) and I love supporting the community's artists while I support our local brewery scene! TLDR: cool local brewery, good beer (although disclaimer I only tried one), outdoor seating, seems like they do a lot to encourage a community vibe. read more

If you like dark beers and IPAs, then definitely check this place out. I am more into sour beers and have always been able to find something I like. I have tried the Debbie Jean Blonde, the Saison, and the Peach Milkshake IPA. My husband really likes the Hold the Reins and the Moozie Stout. The Peach IPA was surprisingly smooth and I typically do not like IPAs at all. Their beer is constantly changing, so you always have to stop back to try new additions! There is ample seating despite this being a smaller brewery. A large community table is in the middle and is surrounded by 4 and 6 table tops; there is also lots of seating at the bar. They also have a large Scrabble board on the front wall and other board games scattered throughout. They do not have food in house, but you can always order from Red Rose next door or the occasional food truck that they have out back. read more
A quaint brewery in College Hill with a laid-back, fun atmosphere. You walk in and immediately feel the chill-mode of the brewery. Oh and you can smell tacos from next door. (more on that later). There are mix of high tops, long tables and bar seating. So take your pick. I liked the large long table since you could bring in a large group and hang out all together. The bartenders were upbeat, fun, and super helpful. The beers range from your classic lager like By Dad for Dad to the experimental of Kickin' Wing- Mango Habanero IPA (I would order this as a taster first before committing to a pint). The Habanero IPA is mellow up front and packs a throat sting after and last a bit. They would be perfect with some tacos from next door from Tortilleria Garcia, which are fresh made corn tortillas. You can also bring in outside food too. Brink has a giant scrabble wall game you can play with and they are doggo friendly! My only issue was I had lipstick on my flights glass and they seems to all have a few on them, but the bartenders were nice and gave me a different clean glass and new beer. Also, I did get a small hint of dog food smell from the bathrooms..not sure what that is from. Hops? read more

They had a lot of outside seating and inside seating that was appropriately spaced apart. They had a lot of variety in their beers. The WiFi wasn't working at the time which was the prime reason I had stopped by. That is the reason for the 4 stars. Cincinnati is a town filled with craft breweries. One of the things that sets Brink Brewing Co. apart from it's competitors is that Brink was winning Awards before their doors even opened. They aren't just creating beer that they enjoy they are creating beers that are enjoyed nationally. One of my favorites is the Moozie Milk Stout. With rich coffee notes, it's luxurious, it's flavorful, it's full-bodied. It's a beer that makes you feel like you are treating yourself to something special. The Oktoberfest was a surprise. To me it almost has a spiciness to it. Not spicy like peppers, but like fall flavors. The milkshakes IPA was unique. We tried the one with mango and guava. It reminded us of a melted smoothie. The Brew masters are frequently creating special, small batch, varieties. Patrons may come back often, and frequently have new concoctions to try. I have been here twice, and both times at least one of the owners was behind the bar. I like that they're finding out firsthand what patrons like. Their family may also pop in as well. Family and community is the heart of Brink Brewing Co. Sure every business wants to be filled to capacity. At Brink those numbers aren't just the people who can consume their beer, those numbers include families; even pets. Kids are welcome. There are boad games for them, or adults to enjoy. Brink is a place for the community to gather. We attended there friendsgiving celebration. It was held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. What a wonderful way to get into the Thanksgiving mood. But more than that, it was a way to bring the community together. On top of hosting the event, they asked guests to bring a coat to donate to the homeless. They have also had a pet Halloween costume contest. At Brink Brewing Co., they aren't only interested in building their business, they are trying to help build a community. Last but certainly not least, is the decor. It almost has a coffee shop feel, meets rustic barn, meets warehouse... all in a good way. One does not feel hurried. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a game on the TV or play one with friends. Bring your own food, or take this as an opportunity to try two small businesses, and order from one of their neighbors. Order a flight, pint, or more, and enjoy some time at Brink Brewing Company. read more
