Brink is our local neighborhood brewery! We really enjoy it a lot, the only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is on weekends they get very crowded so I wish they were larger! Their beers are really good. I had the Chocolate hefewizen which is incredible taste if you think about it... they have some really great complicated but tasty flavors and so far, the food trucks available outside have been really great as well! Traveling from Columbus Ohio! This place was a must visit for me because it's my last name. We got here on Monday when they opened doors in evening. We tried the flight. Got 10 different beers and they all tasted very good! From stouts to ales and sours to IPA, you should not be disappointed. We also bought their merchandise which consists of metal signs, shirts, hoodies, and glasses. The inside is clean and well kept. The patio out back is large and spacious too. Friendly helpful staff! With a new hot brewery that is always changing the beers, this is extremely helpful. I have been to Brink several times this summer and the beers are always varied and flavorful! The vast amount of micro-brews popping up means that they have to differentiate themselves in order to stay competitive. They have done it by crafting unique beers that all taste different. The atmosphere is kid friendly and social. Very open and they welcome deliveries from the pizza place next door. The have some snack mixes and nuts behind the bar for sale too. We tried all 3 and the mix was my favorite. This place is still buzzing off the recent medal wins so expect crowds. read more

Brink is a gem!! Just having opened, they are not holding any punches. So many beers to try, and a large variety at that. For $9.00 you can try 5 samples, so it's a great value as well. I had their Saison and their Berry Wheat, both really refreshing. The Saison was a little hoppier than I remember them being, but certainly could be my taste at the time and not a reflection of the beer. I went to Brink after a volunteering event with Give Back Cincinnati; the bartenders were so gracious to host our group of 50 and did not bat at an eye at the crowd and even let us bring in a catered order of Chipotle to enjoy with our beers. While we were there, a group came in that seemed to be on a "beer bus," and all looked happy and were promptly served. The space is bright and seemed great for a date or a casual afternoon or evening. They do have televisions, but they also have a back patio which is nice, including garage doors that open up to bring all this light and fresh air in. It is hard to say I'll be returning given the distance from my house but if I'm in that area of town, for sure I will be back. I am really excited that the West side of Cincinnati is getting another brewery. Last night, I got to visit Brink Brewing for a soft opening. We got to check out the taproom and they had 5 beers on tap. The space is really nice. They have renovated a storefront that is from the 1920's. It features an exposed brick wall, tile ceilings and lot of industrial and wood features. The space is polished but very warm and welcoming. And the beer is very much the same. They are opening with a blonde ale, brown ale, amber ale and two IPAs. There is something for everyone. Personally, the amber stood out as the most unique because it is dry-hopped but the IPAs were my favorite. Definitely make it a point to stop in and check this place out. They are part of the movement to bring back College Hill and I think the future is bright on Hamilton Ave. read more

Nice place. New and good selection of there own craft beer. Oh and the beer is great. Went on a Cincy Brew bus tour. The owner we talked to was super nice. And one thing he wanted was a place that offer's parking for it's customers. There is parking in the back. No food but a food truck is there every night. Didn't love the beer options here, but it was cheap compared to most breweries. Brink beers just don't seem to have a lot of flavor. The space was neat - I would describe it as modern with lots of seating and a patio out back. Probably wouldn't go back. read more

Highly recommend the beer here! We stopped in to get their king cake beer after Mardi Gras and it was delicious. It was very sweet and tasted like funfetti cake. Not sure if that is something they normally have or if it was just for the holiday - but I hope they continue to brew it! They also are dog friendly throughout the entire venue and sell Brewhaus Dog Bones, which my little guy loves. 10/10 would recommend. read more

This place is such a disappointment. Great location, pretty good atmosphere, everyone seems very nice, but damn their beers are bad. I have never been to a brewery I actively disliked. I've always been able to find *something* they do well, but we tried ten beers (two flights), and couldn't finish half of them. Most of their brews are sickeningly sweet. The best we could say was that we didn't actually hate three out of the ten. read more

Full disclosure: I am a wine fan, not a beer fan. That being said, Brink is a welcome addition to the College Hill area. The space is ample and has a nice flow. There is a long bar as well as several tables occupying the large open floor plan. There is a food truck outside, as well as the option to bring in outside vittles from Red Rose Pizza. The tap boasts IPAs and Browns ranging from the pale yellow all the way to the rich ruby of, say, a Guinness. The service was friendly and prompt, with every server helping to meet customer needs. They can fill up super quickly on the weekends, so I suggest getting there early. It is so nice to see something like this in College Hill as an option for the beer enthusiasts. We're not from the area and we stopped by to try a few beers and we are so happy with the decision. Couldn't believe how many gluten reduced beers they offered and all of them were great. They don't have food but the Latin street food restaurant next door will deliver it to your table, which we tried and it was pretty solid. Our favorite stop on our tour of westside breweries. We happened to be there on their one year anniversary, so things were a little more happening than usual. The wide variety of beers they had on tap was great, we were able to have the super sweet Kings Cake and some really hoppy IPA's as well, something for everyone. The space is really cute and everyone was very friendly. Free parking lot in the back with a nice patio as well. We'll be back! read more

Solid small brewery in a part of Cincy that few venture. Seems to be for the locals. Service is ok but slow. Not a fan of having to write out your own flights. I am the owner of MashRoots the Latin restaurant next to Brink Brewing and I just want to clarify that Brink Brewing and their team have been noting but welcoming to the Latino community. The have enabled and partnered with us to throw several Latin events and last night was no different. Unfortunately early on there was some miscommunication with customers and our policies for beverages out in the patio. His team was doing an amazing and courteous job of reminding customers of the rules. Unfortunately some customers were not happy with the enforcement that needed to be had to properly follow our mandated beverage laws. One in particular wrote a very hurtful review that is based on being upset at the situation and rules we needed to follow, which I understand being upset. However I assure you there is no basis to say that Brink and their staff do not support diversity. In the contrary they have been nothing but supporters of diversity and accepting all of our ideas at MashRoots. Brink has a really great space you can access from either the front (street) or back (parking lot). The location is also really easy to get in and out of which is such a win being on Hamilton Ave. I was only able to try a few beers. They seem to have a ton of IPAs on tap. Usually I do not like them, but the one I tried was much milder and pretty drinkable to an IPA-hater like myself. I also tried the saison which was a little more on the bitter side, and less funky-spicy. They could have used more bartenders, but there was a big happy hour group that showed up and it turned into a really nice day outside which probably made it busier too. My wife and I visited Brink Brewery today and had some of their usual great beers. Then we noticed their Brinktoberfest beer. It is a 6% ABV brew in the Octoberfest family. My two favorite Octoberfest beers are Sam Adams' Octoberfest and Bell's Octoberfest. This beer blew them away. It had a great malty taste, but wasn't as sweet as the others. Also, it had no aftertaste. It was perfect. Brink has mastered the lagers in general but this Brinktoberfest was perfect! read more
