Please also note though that I am not a connoisseur and know nothing about the correct tasting terms. However, the cider they have currently (August 2023) is so smooth, you'll think you're drinking the best juice with a little kick ever. The fruit notes were not overwhelming and it was very smooth. It also wasn't too carbonated/bubbly tasting. I loved it and def recommend it if you want something refreshing yet super tasty. Secondly, the pizza. Believe the hype. You will not be disappointed in the dough, cheese, or other ingredients they use. The fact that they use San Marzano tomatoes also elevates their food. Lastly, the service is top flipping notch. Kaley Rose's voice and effervescence elevates the experience at Bircus. To have someone who is so welcoming, patient, & kind takes a business from just a good experience to a memory. The other employees were equally as nice and hardworking, so it's obvious that Bircus puts thought into not only their pizza and entertainment but also their drink variety and staff. The vibe: very laid back, casual, local neighborhood feel, great for adults and kids alike. This is a real family place-the owners and their children are also circus performers! Bring the kiddos on a Saturday to enjoy a performance-tickets are on Eventbrite- search for Circus Mojo. We really enjoyed the audience-interactive show and the talent of the performers. Little kids will love it too. The brews: multiple brews on tap, including a gluten free mead and a gluten free cider. They were out of these, but also offer wine and mixed drinks. Homemade gingerale was delicious, and my companion loved the brews-he tried several options and will definitely return for the beer! The pizza: delicious hand-tossed crust, San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, hand cut pepperoni was all delicious! Everyone in the group really enjoyed the pizza, and would return for it. As a bonus, there was free cotton candy during the performance. There was also popcorn on offer. Parking was on the street, but we arrived early and carpooled and got a front-door spot.

The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. They brought our food all at once due to that, to include the appetizer. Service was quick but we only saw our "waiter" once to deliver our food. If we had needed refills, we wouldn't have gotten them. We didn't even get silverware and only got one appetizer plate. The ambiance was nice, it's a great looking facility. I probably won't be back though, unfortunately. Just not great enough to bother going again. We did have one beer off the draft list that was good. The dragons milk.

So my first and foremost reason why I took the time to write a review here was the breakfast, and not really the breakfast but the host of the breakfast, Dennis. The breakfast was Goetta, hash browns, scrambled eggs and toast. There was also so fruits, salami and cheese slices plus a boat of mushrooms. A bonus was mimosas and everyone got a drink ticket for an adult beverage after you left. All that being said, the food was standard. It was good, we all enjoyed it. We all left satisfied even though Dennis said we could have more. How does a standard 3-4 star get a stellar 5 star? You get it with a Dennis... a man who knows how to host even at a Sunday morning breakfast. He cares about his craft and it made the experience. On point with every part, great with promptness, great with availability, and great with the little conversations that make an event an experience. We've already talked about coming back next year, hopefully for the dinner event and it will be a nice surprise if Dennis is there hosting that as well.

The burger was cooked perfectly on a fluffy bun, and the fries were well-seasoned without being overpowering. Only downside, the $6 salad was pretty underwhelming. I'd skip that next time.
