Coffee, cocktails, and bottle-shop, indoor and outdoor, by Summit Park Friends were visiting the playground on the east side of Summit Park in Blue Ash (May 2025). Some of us needed coffee. Some (not the parents :-) wanted something more mellowing :-). Enter Higher Gravity on Summit Parkway. They have a full menu of (soft) coffees and teas, a full bar, and a "bottle store" of more spirited beverages. The coffee was strong and smooth, some with dairy, some with oat milk! Almond and coconut "milks" were also available. Espresso drinks, too. Nice! They made me a lovely, even smoother, black coffee with bourbon to sip. Another got an ice-cold Weldwerks Orange Creamsicle sour, flavored true to its name. Street parking is a little sparse, but several spaces right in front are for takeout, so we found a spot easily. There are some seats out front, and the playground is right across the street with several picnic tables outside of the kids-space. Perfect for all our wants and needs, including responsible alcohol-free childcare. read more

Huge tap list - over 25 beers. A good variety of beers, unlike most places that offer almost all IPAs and one or two others. Lots of locally made brews (support local!). This felt like a modern, low key bar to grab a drink - counter seating, benches, outdoor seating. A family even had two young kids with them. The bartender was nice and quick. This is a great place to grab a beer after work. And it's great to walk around this area afterwards. read more

I'm not a big coffee drinker, but was looking for a cold drink while I walked around Summit park. The guy working there told me to describe what sounded good, so I did, and he made me a coffee that was so delicious that it was gone before I started my walk. They have punch cards l, too, so every 6th coffee is free. Great atmosphere and absolutely beautiful park to walk around while sipping coffee. read more

Really love higher gravity here at Summit Park. There's so many options for beers to choose from ranging from stouts to IPAs to sours and more! Wait staff is always attentive and so kind. They are also so open to helping the community of a different events whether that be them attending one or you hosting one at their facility. Love, the fact that you can bring your own food in and one of my favorite things to do is trivia, it is wildly fun. Love coming here to chill out with a few pints and explore the unique beers they carry. The only downside is the temptation to try some of the super expensive limited release beers, haha. Park right out front for free with a nice view of the park. Inside there are tables and plenty of seats at the bar. I love the patio in the nicer weather. They do not serve food so you are welcome to bring in outside food. They do host events such as trivia. One side of the space is dedicated to the wine and beer selection. Almost everything is kept cold. Make sure to lookout over the summer for the pre-order of their famous Beer Advent calendar as it sells out every year. Full disclosure: I do not like beer that tastes like beer. Framboise, Ciders, Wines-these are a few of my favorite things. And Higher Gravity has them. An extensive "on draft" selection and an abundance of ready to drink from the cold case . I have been here several times and the bartenders are always attentive and ready with recommendations no matter what kind of palate you are sporting. I wish they had some food options, but this location has an abundance of eateries nearby and an ice cream stop right next door. You can grab dinner and then walk on over to High Gravity for your dessert. They are open later than most of the surrounding venues, so I suggest using this spot as your closer for the night. read more

Stopped in on a Thursday to pick up my BeerVent box, ended up staying 3+ hours. I had pleasant convo with the bartender and my friend. Later business picked up with trivia being hosted. All in all, I had beer on tap? A couple cans from their large selection and a nitro on tap as well. They have a wide variety of craft beer and cocktails and wine are available as well. This is located in a multi purpose space with street parking in front. There are tables and chairs setup outside. When you walk in, you face the espresso machine but in the struggle between coffee spot and bar, the bar wins. You can purchase a variety of beer from the cooler or bottles of wine. They do make their syrups in house. There were a few pastries but no gluten free options. The barista was nice but solo and he had a couple big groups before me. I ordered a Carmel latte with almond milk and it just wasn't that good especially for the price. I couldn't taste the Carmel at all and the coffee was okay. read more

I really like coming here. If you are not a beer drinker like me, you will still be able to find something. The service is always friendly and I just always get good vibes from this place. I would suggest grabbing a Dora drink while your kids play at the park or leave the kids at home and just go and enjoy yourself. I've been 3 times since my first visit recently. This is our second time trying this place. We went here for the coffee both times and the first time we weren't impressed. Second time was worse. There was no flavor in my drink, and it wasn't even good quality coffee as it tasted burnt. I am baffled as to why they have such high ratings. I had higher hopes. This place is pretty legit. They let us come in with our own food (a birthday cake) and let us celebrate my niece and nephews birthday while the adults had a couple beers. And the selection was incredible. My parents, sister, brother in law, and I all have fairly different taste and it was so easy to find something good for each of us. read more

I enjoyed Higher Gravity so much that I went back a second time recently! The location is amazing next to Summit Park, and it was so nice to find street parking right outside their door. I went there after a playground visit with my 6 year old (you can literally hit the playground from their door when throwing a baseball), and we felt very welcomed with a very inviting atmosphere. The second time I went was in the evening during the week, and the environment was again very welcoming and lively, but also relaxed and inviting. Both times I enjoyed the Rothaus Pilsner on tap. I was really impressed with their selection on tap and was also really impressed with what they stocked in their bottles to-go carry out section. With the pending Dora district at Summit Park this is an absolute must visit and a great spot to frequent. I'll definitely be back! read more

The bar and bottle shop is fun and family friendly. We come here often! They recently opened a coffee shop at the end of the bar, we stopped by one morning and it was so cute! The seating is comfortable, the service was fast! I ordered an iced chai and it was very good. Can't wait to go back! read more

Higher Gravity is beer heaven! If you aren't a beer drinker, they have wines, meads, and seltzers. They also have non-alcoholic drinks like root beer, kombucha or you can ask for a mock tail! We love coming here before or after going to the playground at Summit Park. Kids are welcome and they have board games and video to play. Fun for all! read more

I was looking forward to the opening of Higher Gravity for so long and it did not disappoint. The ambience and location are awesome and there are so many great wines and beers available. Plus, if your kids are old enough, you can send them across the street to play at Summit Park while you enjoy a drink or two :). Or they can stay and enjoy a root beer float and snacks.
