We stopped by on Saturday afternoon after walking around downtown, it was hot so we needed an ice cold place to recover & enjoy a late lunch. We were welcomed from the time we walked in, allowed us to review menu & then were seated right away. Took us about 25 minutes to get our drinks and then another 30 for our burger and chicken/waffles. Can't say we were checked on often either. In fact, we couldn't even wave down our server when needed. The food, on the other hand, was magnificent. The truffle and Gouda burger was delicious! I had read through all the burgers being offered that week and their Boursin Burger was high on my list of ones that I wanted to try. The restaurant is really cute with splashes of bright colors and lots of natural sunlight. I love the modern chandeliers. Between the decor and the downtown location, I was surprised they were playing country music; it really didn't hit the vibe. Our server was helpful and attentive and we even had two other people (I assume managers) check in on our table. The only snag we ran into is that I asked for no mushrooms and they still came on my burger. My husband and I both ordered the specialty burger: boursin cheese, black pepper aioli, arugula, candied red onion, mushrooms, and tomato on a pretzel bun. It was a bit messy to eat, but totally worth it! Before we left, the manager stopped back for a 2nd time and gave us a suggestion of what to try the next time we came in. My friends loved the poutine and the potstickers were good as well. The espresso martini was your typical flavor. I really liked the dry rub wings but thought they could lighten up on the dry rub. It was almost too much of the seasoning on those. Some of my friends tried the spiritless raspberry margarita and said it tasted spiked although it wasn't and they thought the salted caramel waffle and ice cream was just okay. I got the cheesecake and loved it! The only negative was it took 30 plus minutes for the cheesecake to come out and it wasn't chilled. Overall, I would come back again. They also season these very well with salt. There is an extensive liquor and beer selection and their cocktail menu is pretty good!
