    Custom bowling ball

Shout out to Brian up at the pro shop! My daughter told me he literally measured each of her siblings' fingers to get the perfect fit for her custom bowling ball Christmas gift. But wow! She was so impressed. She said he was really kind and inclusive and helped the girls, one of whom has Down Syndrome, have a great experience. Thank you, Cherry Grove Lanes, Pro Shop, and Brian!

Says bowling is until 2am not 1am. Someone should have said hours changed before they charged us.

Their website says lunar bowl on Saturday nights is from 11:30-2. Me and my kids got there about 10 minutes after midnight they charged us full price and they closed at 1 am. Their website says 2 am-they could have said something when I paid. We barely bowled one game. Should have eitheir told us there was less than an hour left or gave us half price.

My lady and I hadn't gone bowling in a while and decided to check this spot out after I told her about it. We wanted to try out a different spot from our usual Madison Bowl and this was pretty close to us to. Overall, great place with a classic bowling alley feel. Plus cheap libations. We stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to play a few games. There definitely isn't a shortage of lanes here with 34 total. There's also a plethora of claw machines, a cool bar area, concessions for food, and even volleyball courts outside open seasonally. The only thing I didn't like was that open bowling was 2pm-4pm. Still, we enjoyed playing there, and definitely enjoyed the $2.75 Coors Light on draft. And the bartender was very friendly. We played four games each and it was about $7 per game with shoes. Good bowling spot for sure. I could see us stopping by here again for a few games. And of course enjoying more cheap libations.

My 8 year old grandson was afraid. He thought the slides looked like they went too fast. We did convince him to try a couple of the slides. He liked the yellow curly slide at the end. My 6 year old would not ride any slides. She's pretty little. So she didn't have fun at all. No slides small enough for her and playground was for 5 and under. So we paid $40 including socks for her to just stand there and watch. So definitely was a complete waste for her. Really think they need something for kids in that between phase. I really didn't understand why the playground has a 5 and under limit. Only recommend this place if your kids are daredevils or older.

I LOVE VISITING KINGS ISLAND!!…read more This was another great visit to Kings Island with the family. This place just keeps delivering. The kids area is extensive and incredibly well done, with rides and attractions that work for a wide range of ages. It's clear they've thought about the adults too: plenty of shade and comfortable spots to wait while the kids burn off all that energy, which makes a huge difference on a long day (or a short day, you know!) One of my favorite traditions is lunch in the Festhaus. Being able to cool off, catch a show, and enjoy LaRosa's pizza is always a win. The pizza itself is great (as always), though I'll admit the pizza/breadstick combo is a little odd. The breadsticks are pretty doughy and don't have much flavor. Not terrible, just not the highlight. The true star, though, is the blue ice cream in the kids area. It's pure nostalgia, genuinely delicious, and the long line proves I'm not alone in thinking that. Even better, the line moves fast, so it's never a dealbreaker. Pizza and blue ice cream are a must for me every single visit--no exceptions. Kings Island continues to be a place we look forward to coming back to. Great for families, thoughtfully designed, and full of those little traditions that keep pulling you back year after year.

Then you go over to check out & there's 4 registers open but only 1 at a time is ever occupied since only 1 order comes out every 30 secs. So 3 workers are staring at phones! So poorly organized. Our Mac & cheese was so cold we couldn't eat it so had to go back & request another which had a 5 mins wait for another batch. Ice was piled up on every drink dispenser to laughable levels & again there's still 3 check out girls "picking their nose" just 3' away. We left early b/c it was pretty awful.

We arrived just before noon and found that we weren't the only ones with the idea for the day. Fortunately I had enough cash to skip the credit card line for entry payment, and we were inside the gates in no time. Admission is $12 for adults, children ages 6-12: $6, and children under 5 are free. We were treated to a gunfight right away upon our entry. It reminded me a lot of the shootout we witnessed as part of our Great Train Robbery experience last year. In fact, I'm pretty sure most of the actors from the train ride were participating at the Old West Fest. Our two-year-old though it was too loud this time, so we moved along right away. The town buildings are very cool to look at and each one has a real purpose inside. Some sell arts and crafts, while others serve as a saloon for drinks and food. There were numerous activities for the young ones, including a sing along band performance, a really impressive magic show, panning for gold, and the always exciting play-set with slides and swings. We were most entertained by the Pickled Brothers Circus, who we caught on our way out. The combination of fire eating, juggling, and sword swallowing was enjoyed by the whole family. This past weekend was Native American weekend and we witnessed a drum circle performance. Each weekend has its own unique theme, so some specials acts and exhibits can be expected at other times. We all had a good time at the festival, even though my wife and I thought it was a little expensive. Mainly the food and drinks were not as cheap as I was expecting, and there were a handful of children's activities that all cost extra as well. I did see people bringing their own coolers with them, so that could be one way to cut down the cost, though I don't see it mentioned specifically on their website. It is probably best for families with older children.
