This place could be so much better. Best perk is you can win a ton of tickets quickly and there prizes aren't out of reach, however, there prices aren't great either. I went for the VR experience it was good that's why they get three stars. Not to many places have the HTC vive set up. They should definitely have bigger TVs to gain more interest from bystanders and so they can see what is going on. The food options are poor and not great. We made the mistake of going to the "Funplex" on a Saturday night. Their C Squad must have been working. It was an absolute train wreck of an evening. While the kids bounced I sat back and people watched. The bartenders and kitchen were so slow everyone kept asking for refunds. There was mess everywhere and no one was bussing the used plates and glasses. People just shoved trash off tables on to the floor to make room. My son wanted to play the VR system. $10 for 20 minutes. The line was 1 person long but they ushered a birthday party of 14 kids past us. Then after setting them up the attendant left and the party kids were literally stuck in VR land for 45 minutes. No one was around to help or stop the simulation. They are probably still there to this day. Poor souls. Anyways I had to attach a photo of the fat kid who couldn't stand long enough so his mom brought him a chair to play the stand up VR game. The youth is doomed. I was happy the VR tech at least let him play bare foot to keep the ambiance of the place classy. Speaking of which, the entire building is easily the same decibels as an airport. Bring ear plugs. Also maybe a book since the service was non existent. I finally tracked down a manager and demanded a refund before we left. My son was in tears. After waiting an hour he didn't get to play the damn VR system. We drove next door to Meijer and just bought a PS4 VR system instead. This is as the better choice and would have been a cheaper night. I did have the pleasure of telling the manager how many people just walked out the front door with full beers and stolen bowling shoes. I counted 7 while standing in line for VR. She told me that she "can't baby sit the adults". I wanted to explain that as a licensed bar manager, that is literally her job...but I just wanted to leave. We were very unimpressed with this place and it is definitely far from popular. On a Saturday afternoon there could only have been 20 cars in the huge parking lot. We came on a Groupon to do axe throwing as a group of 8 for an hour. At $10/person I would still never do it again, though that is crazy cheap. I would rather pay somewhere the axes are made to stick. They were not sharp and stuck 2% of the time it seemed, only if the angle was right. Also the lanes were so short it only allowed maybe 1.5 rotations, which was just not right. Overall, the place was dated though I think it is new, just not a place I would ever return to. read more

Wish I had read the reviews before I went. Brought my 13 and 11 year old grandsons. I was terribly disappointed. The young lady at the counter gave us as little information as possible and had a real attitude. I had to go back to the desk 3 times to ask questions. The cleanliness was NOT. This review is mainly based on their "food and drink service" Well, it is a fun place to let the kids run and have fun, if you get the VIP deal. As for the "bar service", "cocktails" and food....... Don't come in with high hopes! Like, AT ALL!! The people working in the concession stand, because that's what it is! Don't let their fancy pics and ads fool you, the people there don't know how to make the "cocktails" they advertise and resort to their binder for recipes! This place is pure trash. The customer service is non-existent, with the exception of a few people. Had an issue with a game card where the credits I paid for were not added. The "attractions manager", who I was told was named Tim, felt it was more important to stand at the bar than take care of my issue. It took 3 people to place a credit on my account that was already paid for. The organization here is a total joke. Had to be moved to 3 different bowling lanes before we could play because one didnt work, and someone else was already assigned to another. Trampoline park was left unattended, and a toddler managed to climb up a wall. Someone from the bar yelled "Hey get down!" While blowing a whistle. My husband and kids went in this evening around 6:30 they played until about 10:00 and went to cash out to get their prizes. There was 3 kids in front of them who cashed out and once my kids got up they told them they couldn't cash them out because "the system was down" my husband asked for a manager who then came over and became rude and belligerent. My KIDS were told they couldn't have their tickets nor chips and they would have to leave immediately. Booked Omni Funplex for my son's 14th birthday. Upon arrival, the facility looked desolate. When we entered, many of the arcade games were inoperable. The staff, while friendly, seemed preoccupied, and nonchalant and we constantly had to track them down to assist us. On a very hot day, there was no air conditioning. The trampoline area was as expected and our group enjoyed it. When it was our time to bowl, the turns were not scored correctly and when we notified the staff, we were moved to another set of lanes, one of which stopped working in the middle of the fourth frame, and nothing was done about it. In exchange, we were told to enjoy more time in the trampoline area. Laser Tag was probably the best activity, and it was mediocre, at best. We were not given our game cards for the six working arcade games until there were literally five minutes left to the party. And then the lights were turned off while the kids were still playing games. The only service recovery extended to us was $77. We spent over $500 on the party. I would STRONGLY DISCOURAGE anyone from patronizing this establishment. It is not only a monumental waste of money but a colossal waste of time as well. They obviously do not value the choice that customers have in selecting an entertainment destination, and it is apparent from the lack of care, concern, and enthusiasm that the staff exudes. I really expected more from this place and trust me, I was not expecting a lot. I mean, the games and prizes aren't that bad. Some of the games didn't work and were broken. Then, when I was in laser tag a bunch of the vests weren't working and took a while to get ready. Now the worst part of all, The Workers. Me and my daughters waited 20 minutes in a line of just 5 people to pay for laser tag. We were told someone would be right over to get the game started. Waited 15minutes before we took matters into our own hands and put vests on. Still no one. Waited a little more then three teenage girls came over to play. Tried to call an employee, they gave up on him coming over and used a handheld tool to activate our vests. So we go in and try to play, but of course two of three of the vests didn't work at all... so i went back for our money back and daughters went off to spend money on games. Had to argue with and go get all the wrist bands back to get refund for laser tag... now I have been waiting 10 minutes in line of 6-7 people for drink/food. This place is fun it's nice for friends and family. It had a trampoline park, laser tag, virtual reality, bowling, and games. My daughter is having a birthday there tomorrow and she loves this place because she like's the trampoline park for her to jump around. Your child might like it also. They serve food there also, the food there and my opinion of there food rates of 10 is like a 8.5 it's good and descent. They serve pizza if you are having a party there and Omni Funplex is not even that expensive, it's real cheap and can get good deals on the attractions. This was our first time here. We came for a non reservation birthday celebration. The atmosphere is nothing or come close to the advertisement. We had pizza one them was not done and the 2nd one was not very tasty. The place is dirty. There wasn't a maximum number of people to enter in due to covid. The place was filling up with families. The sanitizer stations was empty of sanitizer but they had jugs of sanitizer out. They did not keep up with cleaning and sanitizing tables or the sitting areas. Train your staff so they know where to look when children or adults misplace or lose things while visiting. My cellphone was left at the bowling alley bay during my nieces 3rd birthday party and shortly after had been turned over to management. Well I went to the front desk to ask the 3 attendants who were standing there if anyone had turned In a missing phone. All 3 staff said no. Staff never looked beyond their direct workstations they didn't check the back office or anything. Not sure if they knew to do that due to lack of training. I was told to come back right before close of business to ping my phone again once the Obnoxiously loud music and games were shut off for the night as opposed to them doing their jobs and checking the back office for my $800 Iphone. My hubsband pinged my phones location over 20 times while there, my phone never left the "funplex". I figured what the heck my phone wasn't going anywhere I'd better come back later once the crowd and noise died down. When I returned around 9:15pm all of the staff were standing at the bar chit chatting when I interrupted and asked everyone again if an iPhone had been turned in. Low and behold 1 person from the group of 8 said they did remember an iPhone had been turned in earlier that day. (I think the guy was the cook or bartender). He said "check the back office" smh! Where should I start...I attended this facility with a group of family and friends for bowling this past weekend. We called days ahead and paid a small deposit for reserving lanes. However, as a few of us waited for everybody to show up we had the pleasure (sarcastic) of coming in contact with a older male manager at the bar. To put it mildly, he should not be working with the public and/or he need some serious diversity training 101 and 102 immediately!! Omni Funplex, if you do not remove this man from dealing with the customer you will soon have a lawsuit for discriminating on your hands. His demeanor was so ugly and unprofessional. I really tried to keep my cool because he just didn't care and he was not concerned about correcting his self after I asked was I invisible. I watched him ignore me, I watched him slam down money and dropped people food on the counter like he dropping dog food on the floor. Just so we are clear, this only happened to the African Americans that patronized the bar area. He mentioned he was short staffed and I guess because he was the only one tending to the bar area he got very irritated. Now, there was a younger looking redhead with a lot hair (maybe Asst. Manager), he could learn a thing or two about professionalism and patience from her. We has issues with the lanes twice and we went to her for assistance and she was very approachable. I NEVER write reviews, but this one I had to leave because the level of disrespect from management (the older guy) was unwarranted. This was my first time at this Forest Park, Ohio location and it was my last time. Please remove this man from that level of management. People up under him can not effectively learn from this man who obviously have a chip on his shoulder. He can lead a group of people with that demeanor. If he don't like people of color, he should go live underground and never come out. It is not fair to the rest of the public to have to tolerate his bad disposition. Found this place through Cincysavers.com. They were offering a deal on a $50 voucher for the arcade games. I specifically looked at terms and conditions and website to make sure it could be used for all games and not just non ticket games. Nothing stated that as other places like Gameworks does in their description. I arrived at business and processed voucher, went to use it and only had $25 of credits on there. Went to desk and worker said you get $25 for ticket games and $25 for non ticket games. No where is this stated anywhere and when you buy tokens at location there is no difference either. I spoke to a very dismissive manager named Derrick, he kept calling me boss first of all. Second of all he was very unfriendly and confrontational and admitted that it is not specified or posted on the site or in store anywhere but basically said tough that is the way it is. I said well i guess we wont be coming back here anymore as dave and busters has a buy 20 get 20 free deal and that can be used on ticket games. He said okay. The kids wanted to do the trampolines but i will not give one penny to a place that deceives customers with such a dismissive attitude.
