Service was great, food and service was super fast, everyone was really kind! Our fav was the brussel sprouts with hot honey but everything we had was delish and large portions. We would be back!

First time to visit here. Food was great and I was able to find something GF! We sat outside and the service was great. Other than a little traffic noise, it was a great space to spend time catching up with friends.

I was recently invited to the soft opening at The Lucky Well in Hamilton, Ohio, and it certainly left a lasting impression. I ordered the New York Strip, and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I don't like peas but the mushy peas were very good. The service was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, offering great recommendations and ensuring everything was just right throughout the meal. The space is beautiful. The wine, beer and liquor menus were extensive! We had a few cocktails that I didn't get a chance to take a picture of, but they were very well done and balanced. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Lucky Well is definitely worth a visit for both excellent food and beverages!

Very nice vibe of a restaurant for what the town offers. It's an Irish pub so the food is gonna give you plenty of Irish options. It's reasonable, friendly atmosphere. The food isn't bad. It's not the worst. It's not the greatest but it's convenient for staying at the hotel and in the vicinity. Ordered a shepherds pie and it was tasty, but it was kind of a skimpy dish which still sort of had me left a little hungry or to wake up like I did extra early to be hungry. The guy next to me ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken. It looked super dry as that's the effect the Parmesan has and I could tell he was not happy with it, which is bad when the bartender kept saying how the chicken and he was like "eh" and then she saw he wasn't eating and didn't address the issue.

Cool place. Cool service. Good food. KBBA on tap. What more can you want?…read more I had the fish and chips. They use haddock, which is nice. The breading is yummy, and thin- not obnoxious. 9/10 as far as fish and chips go... lets face it, fish and chips is a 5/10 food, but this is really good fish and chips. Here's where it gets good. My friend ordered shepherds pie. I've had no interest in shepherds pie since the first time I tried it, but when they brought it out, it looked delicious, so I had to ask for a bite... and another one... and another one. She couldn't eat the whole thing, so we got a to-go box... which I stole and ate her leftovers, because this was a stonking good shepherds pie. So yeah.... had an outstanding serving of a mediocre food, and discovered that the first time I had shepherd's pie, it was garbage. Fun place, good food. I'll be back.

At the spur of the moment, I decided to swing by this place on St. Patrick's Day. I looked at the…read morebusiness hours of according to the hours posted on yelp so I made it a point to be there at or after 11 AM. The place was busy as heck and it was a little challenging to find parking because it's part of a strip mall and other restaurants on the strip. Also need places for their customers to park. I found out when I got there that it turns out for St. Patrick's Day specifically they open at 8 AM instead of the normal 11 AM. Consequently, the entire restaurant was full, all seats were taken, even at the bar. And because they had Entertainment, starting at 9 AM. They started charging a five dollar cover charge. Not really a big deal when you consider they had a couple bins of live entertainment as well as a DJ who serviced the outdoor seating area later in the afternoon. At the entry table there were a couple T-shirt designs for sale at $20 each as well as free bead, necklaces, gold or green. I was told that at the very beginning at opening they also had little green hats, but I was too late for them. Browse around, everyone was having fun, talking and music was pretty loud, but it was a fun vibe. Eventually, I found a single little table in the outdoor seating area. It's included in some sort of Long tent assembly, which I think is a metal frame covered by a tarp or what almost looks like denim material. When you look across the bottom of the material all the way around the perimeter, you can see the wind blowing in there underneath. In the outdoor exterior seating portion, there were four of those tall large heating elements, but even though I was merely two or 3 feet away from one I only got a little bit of the heat from where I was seated. It was welcome, for sure, but wish I were warmer. Lol. Coincidentally, I also made the mistake of only come in with a hoodie. Again, I thought or assumed they were opening at 11 AM so I thought I'd easily find a spot inside. Also coincidentally it was cold as heck, so cold that sometimes when I talked, my teeth were chattering, and I could see my breath as I spoke The waitresses were great, and the ambience was pretty cool. They had a special St. Patrick's Day menu and from the drink menu, I ordered an Irish coffee, and part to stay warm, and something that was a 50/50 combination of two types of Guinness beer. The game plan to have a hot beverage along with a beer seemed like a good idea initially but then sometime during the meal I switched it so I was drinking the beer, faster than I was the Irish coffee, so the plan backfired when the Irish coffee soon cooled off. Lots of awesome stuff on the menu. I think a little of the pricey side, but I can look past that if I go for a special occasion. Although I wanted to order most everything on the menu, I ended up getting Irish eggrolls (I'm told it's hot seller), and corn, beef and cabbage (you know, because the St. Patrick's Day) both were delicious. I always trim off the pieces of fat off the outside of the slices of corned beef, which I must say were extremely lean, which I appreciate. The cabbage was delicious and I wish there was a lot more with it. And if I'm not mistaken, there was mashed potatoes along with it. Kind of shaped like an upside down bowl like they do in Asian restaurants. It had a delicious, homemade horseradish sauce, and I had to order an extra little cup of it on the side, so I had enough. The Irish eggrolls were delicious and kind of reminded me of a Reuben sandwich, just in eggroll form. The waitresses looked great in there uniforms and were real troopers considering how freaking cold the weather was. If I remember, one of them was wearing jean pants, while another was wearing warm leggings. Bad props to them for braving the weather to serve us people in the outdoor seating area. We appreciate you and your hard work! While seated outdoors, a woman came around and they were doing some kind of drawing that you could participate in. Something like, "win the pot ". Restrooms were fine. I can only speak for the men's room obviously since I went solo. Overall, a fun time. Live entertainment. I think they were supposed to be dancing girls, but I didn't see any. I think it was when I was focused on eating and staying warm. I did manage to catch a guy doing bagpipes though. That was cool. I don't know if she worked for the restaurant/pub, but there was a woman going around offering these little adjustable rings to all the women around the restaurant. That was a cool touch. They look like little gemstones. A definite recommend!

Take yourself out on your own darn date. Why not?…read more You deserve it. And when you do..... Order the Pink Starburst for 10 buckeroos. A steal. It's pretty and pink and glows. Second choice was an expressotini. The crab rangoons for 6 bucks are a steal. Who can't resist crispy fried filled puffs filled with cream cheese ? Not this girl. Then I took Anthony's suggestion and went with a coconut spaghetti. If you're wondering what that is...... It's flippin fabulous. It's mandarin egg noodles tossed with shrimp, vegetables, in a savory brown sauce. Sold. The curiosity alone was enough to order it. Now on to the ambience. 9.5 outta 10. The music is in the background and not too loud to not hear the conversations your eavesdropping on in the next booth. And any place you go and hear Fleetwood Mac is a plus. The bar has a cool vibe and you don't have to break the bank. And!!! best part yet, there are books all around the place to read if you get bored or have a boring date. Our waitress was Sheridan and she provided absolutely superb service. Major shout-out. They didn't have the beer my husband ordered so she took the initiative to return to the table with two samples of similar beer for him to try. She answered all our questions and made appropriate recommendations. We were checked on often enough, a soda refill appeared without my asking, and she neatly boxed up our leftovers. She was pleasant and kind and one of the best servers ever. Very classy decor here; subtle touches of the orient; wood, leather, and...books! And a very elegant bar. Motown music was playing, and festive but not excessive Christmas decorations were up. And yes, a fortune cat was there to greet us. Food arrived quickly. We had the Thai Dumplings app which was just enough for two to whet the appetite. It was tangy and peanutty and the cool cucumber slices a perfect contrast. My husband had the Green Mango Grouper and loved it. I had a taste and it was fantastic, fresh white fish and delectable toppings, spice level 2 was just right. I tasted it and agreed it was excellent and right then we made plans to return. I had Siam Curry with chicken. Full of flavor and wonderful vegetables especially the snow peas. Spice level 3 is described as Thai Spicy and they are not kidding. They do not wimp out on the spice here so use caution. (For example at Thai Thara in Richmond Indiana I go with 5 of 5 and I still need to add some spice.) Sheridan brought extra chili oil if needed. I would recommend erring on the side of lower spice with the option to add. We took home an order of Singapore Noodles to share for supper tomorrow along with our leftovers. I snuck a taste before putting it away and it's delicious! Looking forward to another visit soon and I think I'll try one of their cocktails. Highly recommended!

I started off with a cup of their homemade chili, which was pretty good. (I personally prefer a little more beans in my chili but that aside, the chili was quite good, Especially on a cold day.) My husband's enjoyed a 6-piece order of spicy garlic wings. He really liked the sauce on the wings. For my entree, I ordered the Grape Wanut Chickrn Salad Wrap with a side of green beans. I had the option of a white wrap or spinach and herb. I went with the spinach and herb for something different. The wrap was really good! And being that I am now on Weight Watchers, I loved that I had the option to order green beans as a side. The green beans looked and tasted fresh,, not from a can or frozen. One note for those who might be vegetarian, though, there is a little bit of bacon in the green beans. I also sampled my husband's onion rings that he ordered with his burger, and they were really yummy! Even though it took me a little over my daily points, we ordered a slice of oreo cheesecake to share for dessert. It was rich, creamy, and loaded with oreos. I highly recommend! I only gave McCoy's 4 stars instead of 5 become service was really slow when we first arrived, but it did improve as the night went on. I would recommend, though, that you order your appetizer and meal at the same time if possible. The next time you're in the next, stop in and give McCay Place a try. The friendly staff is eager to welcome you. Bon Appétit!

It's got that unmistakable '70s pub vibe--wood paneling, dim lighting, the works. But it was clean, and something about it felt comfortable, like a spot that's been around long enough to know what it does well. Service was... efficient. Our server was abrupt but not rude--just straight to the point, no wasted words. To be completely fair, they could have used a couple more, but this gal knew her way around the room, and seemed to enjoy the challenge of handling a dinner rush on her own. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and split the antipasto, pairing it with a beer and a glass of wine. The beer? Just about perfect. The wine? Not so much--tasted like it had been sitting open a bit too long, so we'll knock a few points there. Now, the pizza. Fantastic. The kind of pizza you picture when someone says "village pizza." Crisp crust, great cheese-to-sauce ratio, and exactly the right amount of grease to know you're in for something good. If nothing else, that pizza alone makes McCauly's worth the trip. The antipasto was solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but they didn't skimp on the meats and cheeses, which is a win in my book. Drinks were refilled promptly, and service stayed on top of things. Bottom line: If you're looking for modern charm, this isn't your place. But if you want a laid-back pub with excellent pizza and cold beer, McCauly's delivers.
