    Caesar salad

My wife, myself and another couple decided to go out Friday evening. They had never been to The Lucky Well before but my wife and I had. Probably didn't do a review the first time as it was a family gathering and I was preoccupied. This visit, we opted to sit outside, in front. It was pleasant enough temperature wise, but it's very close to the main street and when some vehicle with loud engine or muffler came by, well, didn't help with conversations. Ok, waitress came out and friendly greeting, took our drink order. Came back in a short while and took our order, then was right back with our beverages. She was very good about checking in on us every so often. Gotta say, they have one of the best Espresso martinis I've had. And a wide variety of bourbon, too. On to dinner. I ordered a Burger that came with lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, pickle and their special sauce. The burger itself was good, honestly, I've had better but that was at a place specializing in burgers. It came with their "chips" which are thin cross-cut fries that were actually quite good. Also ordered a 1/2 ceasar salad, it was a typical Caesar salad. My wife ordered the Shepard pie, she really liked it and it was large enough for her to eat only half and bring the other half home. The other gentleman in our group ordered the fish sandwich with side salad . It was a pretty big piece of fish and he said it was good. So, as I mentioned earlier, my wife and I had been there before and we will probably go again, this time I'll get the shepherds pie and try the hot honey carrots that sound good!

Loved it. Much more of a restaurant than a pub. Very spacious, classy Irish themed wall decor. Nice big bar. Service was very good, questions answered and recommendations made. Unique and interesting cocktail list, I had the "Well Water" which was fresh light and tasty but potent. My husband had the red blend wine and liked it a lot. Food was fabulously delicious, nicely presented, and very generous portions. One of the best Shepherds Pies ever, and those corned beef egg rolls were loaded with fillings. They could be a meal in themselves. An unexpected salad accompanied the Shepherds Pie, dressed with a creamy Malt Vinegar dressing- wow! Never had anything quite like it. One thing I found odd was the absence of salt and pepper and any condiments at all. I probably could have used a bit of HP Sauce or similar on the bangers, but everything was so good and there was so much we just fell to and really didn't miss it. Our waitress did not miss a beat in having our leftovers neatly wrapped up for us. This is located at the dead end of Monument Avenue right by the Log Cabin and Soldiers Monument so you can enjoy some history. Plenty of parking including disabled spots but you do have to walk around the corner for the entrance. Needless to say, we will be back! Highly recommended.

Service was great, food and service was super fast, everyone was really kind! Our fav was the brussel sprouts with hot honey but everything we had was delish and large portions. We would be back!

First time to visit here. Food was great and I was able to find something GF! We sat outside and the service was great. Other than a little traffic noise, it was a great space to spend time catching up with friends.

I was recently invited to the soft opening at The Lucky Well in Hamilton, Ohio, and it certainly left a lasting impression. I ordered the New York Strip, and it was absolutely delicious. Cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I don't like peas but the mushy peas were very good. The service was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive, offering great recommendations and ensuring everything was just right throughout the meal. The space is beautiful. The wine, beer and liquor menus were extensive! We had a few cocktails that I didn't get a chance to take a picture of, but they were very well done and balanced. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Lucky Well is definitely worth a visit for both excellent food and beverages!

Very nice vibe of a restaurant for what the town offers. It's an Irish pub so the food is gonna give you plenty of Irish options. It's reasonable, friendly atmosphere. The food isn't bad. It's not the worst. It's not the greatest but it's convenient for staying at the hotel and in the vicinity. Ordered a shepherds pie and it was tasty, but it was kind of a skimpy dish which still sort of had me left a little hungry or to wake up like I did extra early to be hungry. The guy next to me ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken. It looked super dry as that's the effect the Parmesan has and I could tell he was not happy with it, which is bad when the bartender kept saying how the chicken and he was like "eh" and then she saw he wasn't eating and didn't address the issue.

In addition to wine, they offer a selection of beer on tap and in bottles, and some mixed drinks. I noticed they even featured a local brewery. Ciao Vino offers wine by the glass or bottle. The wine selection is not extensive, but it does have a balanced selection of dry vs sweet and red vs white. The menu also includes a few light bites. We ordered a charcuterie. I was a little underwhelmed as to its content which interestingly enough included chocolate covered raisins. Our wines - glasses of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio - were served at a perfectly chilled temperature and very good. The prices are moderate. The staff were pleasant. This place has potential to be a great addition to the mix of establishments downtown. However, it could be enhanced by some added features such as: bottled wine displayed in store for purchase to take home, educational wine classes, wine flights accompanied by informative descriptions, and a rotating selection of weekly or monthly featured wines to add variety to the menu.

The charcuterie board had a good variety of cheeses, fruit, meat, crackers and chocolates! My only suggestion is that they dim the lights a bit. It would add a lot to the coziness.

You can either walk through the gun center or enter at the rear / side of the building. Either way it is a bit of a walk so could be a concern for anyone with mobility issues. I was surprised that there were not any disabled parking spots close to the side entrance. It's a large lounge, upscale and beautifully decorated though does not have an intimate feel. Majority of seating is tables vs. bar. The cocktail menu is unique and fun, with the different drinks named after famous and infamous gunslingers. I had a Baby Face Nelson which was attractive and delicious. At first I though it was a little weak but towards the end it hit with a bang (see what I did there). I also took advantage of the ladies night menu and got a $5 cucumber mint G&T. The cocktail pricing is what you'd expect, ranging from $12 to $16. The wine list is not extensive and I would not describe this as a wine bar. But, I would come here seeking a fancy cocktail anyway. No food served, but door dash menus are available and there is also a limited menu for direct delivery from the Indian restaurant across the road. The outdoor patio looks nice. We were there on the earlier side, around 5 PM on a weekday. Service was pretty attentive with only one waitress handling the tables. I think if they found a way to serve some simple appetizers and put in a railing along the walkway from the parking lot to the door (thinking of my husband here) I'd give it five stars. They have a weird rule in that they insist on scanning your ID, regardless of age, up until 7 PM any day - this is so that no one who orders a drink can go next door and shoot (where they also scan IDs). The shooting range closes at 7 PM. So shoot first, drink later.
