They're serious about burger temps. Bet.

I was not expecting much from a hotel restaurant with such a low profile--it's hard to tell if it's a restaurant or large lounge area--especially in a Courtyard Marriott in Hamilton, Ohio. I definitely wasn't expecting a perfect mid-rare juicy hamburger that was delightful. Boy was I happy to be surprised. This was one of the juiciest burgers I've had in a while. Definitely over delivered for the location. Kudos to keeping it real in the kitchen guys.

Located inside of a Marriott, the Plaza One Grille did not disappoint. After purchasing a great deal on Groupon; two entries, two glasses of wine, two salads & one dessert for $50, we decided to try the Plaza One Grille to celebrate our anniversary. One may enter from their own side entrance or via The main lobby. There is also free parking. The Marriott did a great job with the decor. Not only does one feel like they are at an expensive restaurant, but a traveler wouldn't feel embarrassed if all they packed were t-shirts and jeans. They really walk that fine line well. Not only does the decor lend itself to various occasions, so does the menu. There are options to accommodate any budget. One can choose from $8 sandwiches or salads, or chose from higher end items such as $38 fillets, and anything in between. I had a buttery tender fillet. One of the best I have ever had. The meet was cooked just as I ordered it. It came with sweet potatoes au gratin and fresh green beans. The sweet potatoes had a meaty texture. Almost, like salmon. They paired well with the cheese in them. My husband had the strip steak. His came with hand cut potato wedges and green beans. He enjoyed his food as well. The Caesar salads were a bit overdressed for our tastes, but not enough to take away a star. The lettuce was still nice and crisp. It had obviously been dressed just before service. I would suggest ordering the dressing on the side. We were also brought some pita with cream cheese. The bread was more like plain Indian naan bread than pita. That being said, it was soft, warm, and delicious. Their wine list had a bit of everything in the $7 to $9 price range. Last was dessert. Rather than share, we ordered two. The tiramisu & chocolate lava cake. The tiramisu was done well, with complex flavors. I really liked the delicate sugar crust on the outter lady fingers. Definitely enough to share. The chocolate lava cake was much smaller. More like a chocolate bunt cake, ( no "lava") but still good. Service was excellent. Gabe was the perfect mix of friendly and attentive, without being overly so. We had a wonderful meal, wonderful service, and would be happy to go back again.

Came here for dinner while on a business trip. The food was amazing. Had the mussels & their steak special that night. Would definitely come here again.

Grown-up Grilled Cheese is probably one of the best grilled cheeses I've ever had!

If you're in the mood for an appetizer, the Rosemary Trufle Fries are phenomenal! I also recommend the Grown-up Grilled Cheese for the main course- best Grilled Cheese ever!

The food left a lot to be desired, especially for the price. I ordered the steak and fritas. I requested that the steak be cooked medium. I sent the first steak back as it came out well done and dry. The second steak is pictured. It came out unevenly cooked with the center being medium well, with the rest cooked well done. After having waited an hour total between the two steaks, I choked down the steak which lacked any seasoning or flavor. The fries were hot, fresh and crisp both times they were presented. The manager of the restaurant went from table to table multiple times checking on people and their experience. I guess she skipped mine after she heard I had sent my steak back.

Pan seared Atlantic Salmon. That's pesto lining the bottom and orzo in the middle. Perfection!

So glad this classy place is here. Fine service and a great menu. I had the snapper last week and the salmon tonight. Kudos to Jamie the chef. Everything about both dishes was perfectly balanced and delicious! Check out this well-kept secret in downtown Hamilton!!

Chose this hotel restaurant merely to get out of the crowds during family weekend. Food was ok but the server was great!

We were in town for an event and were ready for dinner far earlier than our reservation but the hostess got us in no problem. Our server, David, was terrific. He is the only server who has ever convinced me that ordering Wagyu was worth the money. He sold us on the 14oz Australian Wagyu which in his words "was the best steak he had ever eaten" and after having it, I couldn't agree more. The steak was perfectly cooked, beautifully plated since we shared, and it melted in your mouth. The char on the outside was ridiculous in the best way. We also had oysters on the half shell broiled with Cajun butter, lobster Mac n cheese, and corn brûlée. All of it was delicious. I wish we would have ordered the bread with candlestick butter, it looked amazing. Totally worth the money, will make a drive from Columbus just to have that steak again.

The space itself has an eclectic, upscale vibe that adds to the overall experience. The food backed it up. We had the Japanese crab cake, grilled oysters, Baby Wedge (not so baby), and split the 16oz Wagyu ribeye with truffle butter. Sides were mushrooms and the potato mille-feuille -- that potato is a must-order. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and incredibly tender, and the crab cake was packed with large chunks of crab. The oysters were good, but everything else really stood out. Dessert was an espresso crème brûlée and finished the meal exactly how you'd want. Service was excellent. David took great care of us -- knew the menu, made good recommendations, and kept things moving without ever feeling rushed. The place was absolutely spotless -- from the dining room to the smallest details. Around $400 for two all in, and worth it for a special night out.

They are located on the back side of the Bridgewater Falls shopping area. Inside is modern and minimalist, but clean and welcoming. Menu in chalk on the walls, plenty of seating inside, I don't believe there are any seats outside, or maybe just the time of year being cold. The girl behind the counter was very nice and made my drink perfectly. I got their standard milk tea with black teas as the base and with boba of course. The tea itself was sweet, not overly sweet though and the boba's were excellent. Soft, sweet with a hint of honey. The Boba can make or break a boba shop. Living in Los Angeles, there are so many places to choose from, but not all are good, sometimes the boba is off. Milk Jar does the drink perfect as well as the Boba, so I was really happy to find a great spot in Ohio to get boba whenever I come to visit Family. I would recommend you trying them out for their drinks and boba. They also have rolled ice cream and shaved ice, both of which I did not try but looked very good. Enjoy!

They have a great variety of drinks, rolled ice cream, and cereal bowls to choose from. They do offer samples of their teas for you to try. That was nice and it really helped make the decision what to get. The price of the drinks were comparable to other places. The drinks we ordered tasted really good and refreshing. We didn't care for their joke of the day when we were in there. Overall, it's a good place to get boba tea and other refreshing tea or fruit drinks. Maybe one day we will try their rolled ice cream....it sounded good.

I love it that they've left it as is, the vibe this place has can't be found in the newer restaurant trendy builds. Lots of wood and character, a step back into the "old days". The owners and their son are some of the most friendly, down to earth folks you'll ever meet. For an appetizer we ordered the stuffed peppers. We loved it, a little different than the Americanized version, but oh so good. My husband ordered the pepper steak and he loved it. It wasn't slathered in a syrupy sauce, it was in it's own beefy juices, gravy, tender and flavorful. I had the szechuan chicken and I requested it on the mild side. It was so good, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, the chicken breast was nice and chunky and the sauce was natural, not swimming in some bottled stuff. The carrot cake was divine. I mean DIVINE! It was sweet, moist, flavorful, just good. Our cocktails were well made, not watered down as is so common nowadays. we don't mind paying for a drink when it's made correctly. The evening was more than a good meal, it was an experience, which is what brings me the most pleasure. Good food, good people, friendly clientle, great decor, relaxed atmosphere.
