Both meals were incredible. The egg plant was flavorful and the sauce was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and juicy. The potato's had a scrumptious sauce on them. I would definitely order the potato's again!! The waitress was kind and the service was great. The restaurant was trendy and a great place to have a girls night out or dinner date!

We stopped here for lunch. We had: Shprouts - crispy Brussel sprouts with shishito peppers, shallots and a teriyaki sauce. Absolutely delicious, tops the charts for great Brussel sprouts. Brekkie bowl - chicken chorizo, 2 eggs, avocado, dried cherries, grains, onions cheddar and Crema. A very different, excellent dish. Loved it! Oh ya! I'll be back to this place!

I went to Tano on Saturday night with my partner and a few of our friends. Easy to get reservations. We started with lobster and Brie dip, Ricotta and honey and the bread basket. Amazing starters. I decided to be daring and tried the duck breast. It was sooo good. Cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. It was not greasy, which is what I was worried about. It came with risotto and green beans. My partner had the pork chop and he raves about it. My friend has stuffed salmon and she ate the entire thing and usually never does that. My other friend had a salad with salmon. She mentioned them at the Prosciutto wrapped asparagus was a show stopper! Service was great to top it off!

We needed a place to host a pre-graduation dinner and Tano Bristro was definitely the right spot for us. As a foodie, I don't mind driving for good food but during graduation weekend in Oxford, we really didn't have a choice. The team really did a great job accommodating our large party. This place is only a couple of years old and is on the 1st floor of a building across from a park and hotel. The area appears to be growing with new units popping up. There's street parking around the restaurant and we didn't have a problem finding a spot. They have a nice bar area and offer both outside and indoor seating. We have been coming to Oxford for a number of years now. Tano Bistro is one of the better places we have found in the area. Their lunch and dinner are both very good. They have a good variety on the menu and are willing to make modifications (as needed). If you are in the area and want to have a good meal, I would certainly encourage you to make a reservation and check out Tano Bistro.

I love Tano Bistro! I've been before at their first location in Loveland. Every since then I've been a fan. Then I found out they opened one in Hamilton. This is where I live so this is perfect. This location also did not disappoint! Their food is comforting, fresh and delicious! The service is also always pleasant! We always start with appetizers! This visit we did the Ricotta & Honey and Smoked Wings. We love ricotta dips paired with sourdough bread! It's the perfect match and ricotta is a great dip. What was unique about this dip was it had blueberries in it. It was fantastic! I'm not a wing person but the wings were good. My husband and my youngest daughter killed the wings! Their appetizers never disappoint. I usually stick to what I know at a restaurant, especially if I really like it. I ordered the Stuffed Salmon and my husband ordered The Havana. The salmon is always my go-to when I come. It's good and I love salmon. I enjoy this dish! Now the Havana was bomb! It was a great choice my husband picked. I'm glad he did so we could try it. It certainly gave Cuban vibes! It was delicious! We did not have any complaints! We can't end dinner without dessert! We ordered the S'mores Bread Pudding! I think between myself, my husband and two daughters we scarfed this down within minutes! It was delicious! I like how they added a twist to such a classic dessert! The s'mores was a great idea to add onto this dish! I loved it! Overall, Tano is a great restaurant and I really enjoy them. They change their menu seasonally. Some items stay on the menu year round and others come and go based on seasonal ingredients for the best freshness! Certainly give them a try!

Expensive. Food meh. Service is poor. We waited 15 minutes at the bar with no service. Would never recommend this establishment.

I asked for a nice table, but they sat us next to the bar... I'm not sure why since the other dining room was open and no one was in there eating The food was no better than what you could get at the Denny's restaurant... the service was no better than a poorly managed diner, and the ambience was that of a slightly elevated cafeteria... Flavorless, dry salmon, a house wine that ended up being sparkling, despite the fact that it didn't claim to be so on the menu, and a waitress in blue jeans and a sweatshirt that might as well have been working at McDonald's... If you're going to claim to be a fine dining restaurant... Maybe you should pay a little more attention to the fine detail. I can't recommend this restaurant unless you're all about paying a lot of money for very little wow factor.

There is a small parking lot plus street parking available. One interesting thing is the numerous old photos of Hamilton hanging on the walls. There is even one of the building back in the day! We ordered an Anna's pretzel with beer cheese and horse cheese as an appetizer. It was one of the best soft pretzels I've eaten! Large, warm and the 2 dipping sauces made a great accompaniment. We ordered a Reuben and fish and chips also. They were yummy as well. The bar tender/waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The prices are very moderate. I noticed they even offered lunch specials. I definitely plan on visiting again.

Yes, it's a beautiful, sturdy building that you just know is reeking of historical significance…read more Parking is as easy as everyone is saying -- there always seems to be room on the street. The waitress seemed helpful enough, though, as there's weren't many customers this early in the evening, she was too busy watching the Winter Olympics to give me more than the cursory attention needed to bring my food out and take my payment. But the food definitely made up for that. This is made-from-scratch creativity at its finest. I got the Reuben's Stones, expecting a fried fritter, but got a delicate, made-like-my-mamma-would pastry instead. It was soft and doughy inside, and jam-packed with corned beef. The fish in the fish and chips was huge, hot, and right out of the fryer. And the fries had to be made from scratch, because I've never seen that particular shape come out of a freezer bag: they looked cut naturally from the round, and were also hot and tasty. And the warm butter cake was as amazing as everyone said. Actually it's this small squat cake that looks like a muffin -- until you cut into it and realize it's soaked in syrup inside & absolutely delicious. The only disappointment were the green beans --- they were overcooked and mushy -- though maybe that's how English green beans are authentically cooked. Overall, though, my visit was a real adventure filled with authentic and delicious surprises. I will definitely be back to try more.
