    Lousy boba cup.

The drinks are good however... the cups that is being used are not the regular boba cups. You're suppose to be able flip it over and shake to mix the drinks. Now you can't with the flimsy cup and top. They need to use the the original boba cups for the drinks.

I enjoy stopping by here for a tea whenever I am in the area! Teas are super fresh and not too sweet. My favorites are the strawberry oolong and mango oolong! Parking is easy, inside is cute (love the idea of the photo wall), and staff is efficient with making my tea. There is something for everyone!

Nestled in the Bridgewater Falls shopping complex between the US Marines Recruiting Station and PearleVision Eye Center, this new novel business knows how to MILK a demographic and prime location. But what's the scoop, you ask? Here's the [boba] tea... My family and I were eager to try MILK JAR and sample their rolled ice cream delights. But, these frosty creations come with a price tag that could make a cow leap over the moon. We coughed up a hefty $20.99 for three small cups of ice-milk stuff, generously sprinkled with the likes of Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Now, I'm not one to milk it, but that's utterly overpriced. While we were eating our rolled ice milk and cereal thingies, a family of three came in to order what they dubbed the "Cereal Killer" specials. These poor souls shelled out $5.60 each for a combination of popular cereals, dry-mixed into a sealed bowl. Now, THAT would have brought out the tiger in me! And guess what? They even received a separate bottle of grocery store milk, poured into another sealed container, as if pouring your own milk has become a luxurious service. They walked away with a bag full of single-use plastic bowls and bottles for a grand total of $16.80. How are you going to eat that on-the-go? Not to mention it's June in Ohio and when you spill it in your car (and for that price)--I'd even cry over THAT spilled milk! I almost snapped, crackled, and POPPED! Maybe they were literally cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs? The struggle is real. Now let's talk tea. This boba tea trend has taken the US by storm, leaving many like me scratching our heads like confused clowns juggling watermelons. Personally, I struggle to wrap my mind around the appeal of overspiced and savory drinks with tapioca fish eyes bobbing about. But hey, to each their own! I mean, when I was in college I thought Jagermeister tasted good. So Whatevs. What's my final verdict on Milk Jar? As a self-proclaimed cereal connoisseur who can devour a salad bowl of Fruity Pebbles at 2 a.m. with a soup ladle, I can appreciate the concept. However, when it comes to forking over a fortune for lackluster ice cream, puzzling milk-pouring experiences, and a side dish of environmental guilt, I won't be moo-ving my way back anytime soon. Three stars for the yummy boxed cereal and the good time writing this review. However, if you're an unabashed Milk Jar aficionado, wear your JAR-HEAD status with pride! Just remember to double-check the door when your crew designs those snazzy t-shirts. Trust me, one wrong step to the left and you might find yourself on a different kind of adventure!

Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience from start to finish. The wait time was…read morefar longer than expected, and what made it worse was the complete lack of communication or acknowledgment from the front-of-house staff. From the moment we arrived, we weren't greeted or acknowledged. After placing our order, part of it came out relatively quickly, but the rest took over 25 minutes, with no updates (my husband was completely finished with his treat). I went inside multiple times to check on it and was either brushed off or completely ignored when asking for a simple time estimate. Meanwhile, several customers who ordered after us received their items and left, which only added to the frustration. When our order finally came out, there was still no acknowledgment or basic courtesy--no "thank you," no "you're welcome," just dismissive behavior and even an eye roll. When I said thank you multiple times, I finally got a SMUG "yup". I couldn't believe the level of disrespect. I fully understand that things can get busy, but there's never an excuse for being dismissive or disrespectful to customers. A little communication and professionalism would go a long way. It also seemed like there was confusion behind the counter with orders being mixed up and returned, and team members digging through each order like "no this was right" which suggests a need for better organization and training. I really hope management takes a closer look at both service and operations, because this experience did not meet even basic expectations. Not to mention that Under Armor sweatpants should never be an acceptable uniform choice.

We ordered 2 single cheeseburgers with only mustard, pickle, and onion. On ketchup! We got 2 cheeseburgers with ketchup, (actually extra ketchup) and pickles. No mustard and no onion. When we got home we looked at the order receipt and it was correct although the burgers were not. How hard it is to actually read the order at the grill and make it as requested? If the cook can't read put them on the broom sweeping the floor and emptying the trash. We have been to this location many times and this is one on many that they have flubbed up. I had a survey on my receipt which I did and it was a joke. After I did it I was offered one meal item if I wrote down the code. REALLY???? This is sad that they can't even get their survey to offer corrections other than something free which we will never get. Sad just Sad!!!!

The chips and salsa are really good as well and taste homemade. They also have a salsa bar setup so you can try different salsas to your liking, the avocado salsa is my favorite!

Starting off with the place itself and the staff. Outside as you walk up has a great outdoor patio area, lots of seating and a fire pit, pretty nice option for outdoor seating. I like the Dia De Los Muertos guy in the front as well. I did not get photos of the patio since I could only have 20 pics, but it is a very nice setup. Inside, the staff was friendly as we walked in, our server was very nice as well, made sure our drinks stayed full and checked in on us often. The restaurant itself is large, plenty of seating all around and has a nice big bar as well. Even has a white mini grand piano in the bar area. Decor is vibrant and very clean inside. Now to the food and here is where I have mixed feelings. I really liked all the salsas as well as the habanero salad, super tasty and a good spice level as well, which is sometimes hard to find when I visit. The chips were on point as well. My rice and beans I also enjoyed. Where I was let down a bit was the chicken taco, taste was decent, but in the dryer side, but I liked it. My disappointment was in the beef tacos, first it was ground beef, not what I am used to in a taco from authentic Mexican food, normally shredded, but that was not the issue, the meat itself had a very odd taste, actually kind of like soy beef or somehow a bit off, flavor of the meat spoiled the taco for me. All in all I give the place 5 stars for the outside area, the staff, interior and bar was nice. Chips and all the salsa, rice and beans as well. 4 stars for the chicken taco, good not great. 2 stars and being generous on the beef tacos though, those need a lot of work. So I averaged it to 4 stars overall, I debating between 3-4, but the rest made me go higher. I would come back again for sure, I would just avoid the beef tacos IMO. They have a ton of stuff on the menu, thus my pics, so I am sure I would find a better choice. Enjoy!
