Weirdest milkshake I've ever had. Not cold but so thick I couldn't suck it up the straw. Tried but ended up throwing it away. 2/3 thrown away. Fry's were cold , thrown away. If not for the tomato and mayonnaise the burger would have been to dry to eat. Workers were pleasant even with the line around the building. And I do mean around the building. Paid and was told to pull forward and my food would be delivered. Pulled forward and before I could put my car in park my food was delivered Have no idea about ambiance because I was only in the drive through Very disappointed $16.00 for a lousy milkshake ,cold fry's and an over cooked burger Don't know if I'll return Reached out to Culver's. Ordered $40 worth of food and every bit of it was ice cold. I asked one of the employees bringing food to tables if they get a lot of complaints. He said most of the complaints deal with food being cold. So it was confirmed. Management: you are not doing your job. Also, since COVID the food quality overall at Culver's has taken a steep dive. It is such a shame because it used to be delicious. Cashed in all my free scoop coupons and I will not return. It's a waste of money. read more

Culver's burgers are fantastic. They do not remind me of any other burger, they have their own taste and so it makes me think of In n' Out in California. A staple of CA which makes you want it every time you come. That is how I feel about Culver's. The burger, cheese curds and even onion rings will have you returning again and again. First butter burger in probably 5+ years and was quite pleased with the real burger flavor and the onion rings were perfectly done inside and out! Stopped by on a busy Saturday afternoon and there was a constant ebb and flow of customers inside as well as that all to common line around the drive through. Young man taking our order was polite and friendly, the young lady who delivered our food well she seemed to want to be somewhere else...maybe cause it was a beautiful day but none the less just didn't match everyone else's personality but didn't ruin the experience or anything we all have bad days. Seemed to be a manager or someone if the sort in plain clothes who appeared to be having 'interview' like conversations with staff in the fill your drink area. Found it to be a bit strange and poorly placed and timed being that's a high traffic area and they were busy. Just made me feel like this shouldn't be happening whatever it was here and now. we've been to Culver's across the nation frok east to west and this is BY FAR, the absolute SLOWEST one in the whole group. Ordered at 3:15 pm with only ONE other person in the restaurant. We received our food at 3:40 pm, just a burger and fries. Then we ordered an ice cream at 3:51 pm and we got the ice cream at 4:03 pm, again with now 2-3 people in the restaurant. Multiple employees standing around talking and very few actually moving at a normal Culver's speed like every other one we have visited. Culvers is a hamburger and ice cream/custard place. The burgers are average but the custard exceeded my expectations. I got an Oreo Concrete Mixer. It was thick and tasty. The burgers and custard came to our table in about the time you'd expect. The server was friendly and when we finished she took our trash away. Nice touch. I normally do not eat fast food or even try Chain Restaurants much, if you read my previous reviews you will see I don't go Chain often as I like to say "Chains are so hard to chew". I stopped in here with my Son (he was driving and suggested it), well I ordered my meal completely from an ad on the wall, a chocolate Shake, fries and a double burger with cheese and tomato/lettuce/mayo. Well First the shake was very good, I was surprised as normally I don't get shakes, but when I do I prefer small ice cream shops. The fries were good, not great. If I could leave zero stars, I would. Just went to Culver's for 2 kids meals and a sandwich. Huge line in the drive thru, so I decided to walk inside. There was no line and they took my order immediately. It only took 25 minutes!!!! For 2 kids meals and a sandwich? Seriously? By the time I got my food, the entire drive thru line was gone. I guess anyone that takes the time to walk in gets the privilege of taking a backseat to ALL of the drive thru, even if their order goes in first. Awful service. Not even an apology or anything. Came via drive thru for a post-sushi ice cream run. I didn't realize it was frozen custard until we started eating it, it was really rich and creamy! Tasted almost exactly like Ritters frozen custard which is SO good. Different options for mix-ins for a blizzard / mcflurry like treat, a few sundaes (I had the turtle sundae which was great!), and of course good old ice creams (sorry, I mean frozen custard) on a cone. COVID or no this Culver's location has a very difficult time delivering consistently good quality food and certainly cannot produce food in a timely manner. The last two times it took 39 minutes to get food once the order was placed. Decided to give another chance since they provided us two free meals for previous poor service and there was absolutely no improvement. And the food quality was even worse. Have ate at this location many times and normally have been ver happy but I have noticed here recently that the quality has been declining. Ordered a double butter burger basket through the drive thru. Order was correct and I live very close to this location, 4 minute drive, max. Food was cold, very cold. They have a sign in the drive thru that says, we are making your food fresh for you. That isn't true. Use to you would have to sit and wait for a short while to get your food and I like many other people didn't mind that wait, IF IT WAS HOT AND FRESH!! They were moving cars through the drive thru extremely fast and that tells the story. The food is being prepared ahead of time and it sits there, then it is thrown together to expedite the number of orders they process. This won't work Culver's!!!!! I brought my kids here to eat inside this week.. I was disappointed to see that during this pandemic every table was dirty and my daughter witnessed one of the employees that I saw handling food not wash her hands after using the bathroom (this was after we had already eaten or else we would've left). We were the only customers in the restaurant and there were plenty of employees standing behind the counter, there were also a couple employees sitting in the dining room talking or having a meeting, so there really is no excuse for the dirty tables. The cashier offered me a disposable mask when I forgot to put my own on when ordering.. I thought this was funny given the girl not washing her hands, dirty tables, and none of the employees were wearing their masks correctly. I gave a 2 star review however because the food was good and fresh. Dining room also had a dirty odor, like the drink machines hadn't been cleaned in a while. I just have to say, the last time that me and my husband came here was a few days ago, and it truly had been years since I had eaten here last... but unless I have a good reason, I'll never be back again. My husband smokes one of those big vape boxes that blows out a crazy amount of vapor, but he really isn't trying to be obnoxious and tries to be considerate of other people walking near. He's of course puffing away at it and just chatting with me, and he doesn't notice this elderly Culver's worker walking up with the order in front of us. So he blows some vape out his window and the wind catches it a little and some hits her as she walks by. My husband said "Oh, oops I didn't see her." And just left it at that, as it's really not a big deal, and he didn't do it on purpose. So this old lady goes to walk away from the car in front of us and instead of going back in, she comes right up to our car window looking really ticked. She looks at my husband and demands to know what he's smoking. Wanting to know what cigarette he blew at her. And he showed her his vape device and said "Oh no, it's just this vaporizer box." And she says "But it still has nicotine in it doesn't it!?" And he confirmed it did have some, and she raised her eyebrows like she really got one over on him and says "Uh huh! That's what I thought!! You won't be blowing that thing at me again when I come out here!!!!" And looks completely pissed off and walks away. We were totally floored and just sat there trying to laugh it off, not knowing what to do. Did she really just demand to my husband that he not "blow that thing at her when she comes back"?? Who does she think she is? All I could think is "this lady has some balls." She's supposed to be serving customers. She doesn't need to treat us like some ruffian millennials because she's old and thinks the world is out to get her and she's ageist against young people. It was an accident. Also, what does she think nicotine is going to do to her? Studies have proven that nicotine doesn't do anything to you, it's the other harmful chemicals in cigarettes that VAPE DOES NOT HAVE IN IT. She needs to read more. I was determined to get her name when she came back with our order so I could report her. When I saw her coming I leaned forward with my phone out to catch a glimpse of her name tag, and if I remember correctly her name is Carol or something. I don't know if she realized how shitty she was before or saw me looking at her, because she then was very polite and told us to have a great night with a big smile and a wave, so then I felt bad and just let it go. The food was fine, and really it could have been an okay experience if it weren't for little miss old entitled Carol thinking she can get aggressive with customers. Yes, Culver's is a fast-food chain which is, quite possibly, the most hated concept in the mighty Yelpdom. Also, it kind of feels like a high falutin' Dairy Queen. But, if that is indeed the case, then Culver's is king. Because they have cheese curds. Cheese curds! Lovely little bits of cheddar and mozzarella, breaded and fried for your pleasure. Their Butterburgers (I still don't get it) are alright, better than most fast food chains and served with fresh accompaniments by perfunctorily polite Culverites. I cannot speak for their custard because I have never tried their cones, shakes and what have you. I just go for their cheese curds. I stopped by on my way to Menard's (because I'm fancy like that) since I hadn't had lunch and got a side of cheese curds and a Pepsi. Culver's is an interesting fast food restaurant. Their butter burgers are extremely tasty, though there is absolutely nothing healthy about them. If you drop in, get the cheese curds, they're unique and delicious. Just keep in mind, Culver's is frozen custard, not ice cream or yogurt. If you are not expecting that, you will be a bit surprised by your dessert. This Culver's has good service and they're service speed is good. Not as fast as your fastest fast food, but not as slow as a bad fast food. I've never had to wait too long, and the food is freshly prepared, not reheated in a microwave. read more

Culver's easily used to be a 5 star place in my book, but lately it's just been greasy and not the same deliciousness that I used to love. The last two times that I've gone I ended up with an upset tummy and that really bums me out. When I picked up the burger grease dripped off, and even the cheese curds which used to be the primary reason for my visit, seemed different and tasted freezer burnt or something. The one positive that will most likely never change is the root beer. WOW, that root beer is amazing. With all the other choices in this area, I feel that Culver's is starting to move down the list of my go to places. I haven't had the custard in awhile so I can't attest to that. If you haven't tried it, I'd stay find a Steak and Shake for a comparable burger. read more

May be good...if you actually get your food. We visited this location at 3:30 on 12/22/2015. We sat down and had our food delivered rather promptly, however one of the sandwiches was made incorrectly, not matching the receipt, so we asked that it he corrected. (Actually we just asked for the 2 pieces of bacon that were missing). The manager, came out to take the sandwich indicating that it had to be remade. Fast forward 30 min, no sandwich had been returned, and no update on the meal. Mind you, this isn't a busy time of day...so I approached the front counter ask to be refunded for the sandwich as everyone else in the party had finished eating already. We had planned to all order custard, but after that experience, we decided to just leave. Up until this past Saturday night, I've never had a bad thing to say about Culver's. This location is in close proximity to where my boyfriend lives and we have been frequent guests there for the past two years. We went to Culver's this past Saturday night and, if you live in this city you'd know it was in the 60's on Saturday night so everyone and their mom was dining out. Culver's was no exception. The place was as packed as I have ever seen it. My boyfriend and I went through the drive thru and I ordered the double butter burger basket and he ordered the same, but with bacon. It's never ready when you get to the window so we had to pull up ahead and were given a number. About 5 minutes later, a young lady brought us our food so we went back to my boyfriends house to eat. Halfway through the burger, something tasted a little off. We were watching tv in the dark so I flipped on the light and saw I basically had been eating a medium raw burger! It was so pink when I showed my mom a picture of it later on she thought it was a tomato. I instantly felt ill so my boyfriend took it back to Culver's and showed it to them. All they did was apologize, gave him his money back and a coupon for a free basket next visit. Needless to say, it'll be awhile before I go back. All they did was take the meat and brown one side, flipped it and browned the other side. I think they were just so crowded that they were trying to get orders out super quick, but don't make your patrons sick in the process. I'm disgusted at you, Culver's ! Keep the high school aged kids off of the grill and if you can't then please teach them how to read a meat thermometer! read more

Fast food but kind of a step up. Burgers, custard, and the like. Really disappointed they served me an ice cold burger the other day. It was pretty gross and not really worth eating. Worst of all it was like $2.50 or something outrageous for just a plain cheeseburger which at most places would be on the dollar menu and it was cold. Vanilla custard is yummy but you gotta figure out how to serve warm food! read more

Excellent for a fast food place. The food is like something you would expect from a 50's diner; grilled hamburgers, cheese curds, crinkle cut fries. Today when we came for lunch they were extremely well staffed, and what's not to love about the free ice cream samples they pass around!? The shakes, Malts, and ice creams are rich and delicious. The food is decent but I pretty much only go there for the custard. My favorite is the turtle sundae but the mint Oreo concrete mixer comes in a close second. Most of the staff are younger high school kids but their friendly and always seem to get your order right. If you watch in the mail you can usually find a full page of buy one get one coupons.
