I love this ice-cream place have been going since I was little. I would say there my favorite ice-cream around would recommend to everyone.

They have lots of flavors, toppings, and treats to choose from! I love that they have baby and kiddie size cones as size options. But they need to remember to offer napkins when going through the drive through.. as it gets messy as one might expect. The wait is really long, and I really wish they had a list of everything you could get in the "celebrity cyclone" listed on both their drive through and online menu. Inside and outside seating would also be a great addition. Overall, I think it's a little pricey and the wait is long, but it tastes good and is a nice treat! read more

Flub's, the definition of summer in a cup or cone, is a force to be reckoned with. All of the seasonal favorites one could ask for. Their ever-changing menu will keep you interested in coming back to check out new flavors. My personal experiences with Flub's have always been excellent and I most definitely recommend their multiple locations. Flub's is a good place for ice cream and cold treats. It has been here a long time and looks like it. This is a no frills place. It has a walk up counter. They have ice cream and lots of other stuff. It's the oldest of the two locations. It makes ice cream pies. These definitely look better than Dairy Queen. It has a pretty big parking lot. There is a single bench at the window. It's most popular item of course is ice cream. They aren't limited to this however. I had a pink lemonade Italian ice. This is about $2 for the medium size. It had a tart flavor. Wonder if the rest of them are like that. Fair prices for most items. It has pretty much nowhere to sit. You may have to sit in your car because there's nowhere else for you. read more

Ok ok ,I know I say flubs is over rated .I've never been a die hard fan Especially since they took away my butterscotch dip .But we tried a watchamacallit concoction.It had rice crispy cereal in it ,peanut butter chocolate I think maybe caramel too .We asked for chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla .It was amazing .We usually get chocolate base ,add cheesecake,banana,malt powder ,and chocolate dip ,ok le it sounds like alot (mind yo business)The sugar free is awful ,but the almond joy parfait is their saving grace for me . read more

Flub's is the gold standard in creamy whips, and for that reason, it was our favorite stop on our family tour of ice cream places this summer. Flub's soft serve is great. Dense and super creamy. It was, by far, the best ice cream we tasted all summer. The serving sizes are also rather large, and the prices are really rather cheap. They also have an amazing selection. The highlight? They have over 30+ cyclone options on the menu! Unlike most other ice cream places, this place doesn't just throw some pre-fabricated, store-bought candy bits into soft serve. These are creative and truly homemade combinations. For example, the #28, "Kara's Smores," is filled with warm marshmallow, graham cracker pieces, and chocolate dip top. It was out of this world good! With this kind of quality, you'd expect that Flub's gets pretty busy on summer days, and you'd be right. However, Flub's totally has their stuff together. The parking lot is large. They have both walk-up windows and a drive-thru, and they have plenty of friendly staff ready to handle the crowds. In addition, with touch screen POS computers and the ability to take credit cards, they're pretty hi-tech and efficient for the creamy whip world. I can't think of a bad thing to say about this place. They are definitely a 5-star spot. Unlike Tucker's in Mason, the drive to Hamilton for Flub's is 100% worth it. Went today and took my son to get ice cream. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake cyclone and specifically asked if there was chocolate in it because I am allergic. My son even started talking about it. I got his ice cream then mine came out, I took a bite and it tasted weird I look down and their was chocolate in it. I took it back up to them and said hey there is chocolate in this. The cashier took it back said oh then this other guy in a ballcap eith blonde hair walked over and was super hateful and asked what the issue was, so the cashier told him and the guy in the cap looked at me and said well maybe you just shouldn't eat here. He was like we have allergy signs and everything and went we get busy we don't have time to make sure stuff Is clean in-between each. They guy in the ball cap was being rude when talking. I said I've come here for 4 years and it's never been a problem before. He was like well if you want to eat here then I suggest you don't get anything with a topping because it'll happen again. He said i can remake it for you or give you something else with a crappy attitude. I asked if I could just have a slushie then. He was super nasty when asking what size and flavor I wanted. I had been having a hard time recently and just wanted to take my son to get ice cream, I literally sat on their bench and cried because of how he was. My mom was also with us and went back up to the window to get the slushi for me and the guy in the cap was rude with her too. (Signs only said something about dairy and nuts allergies) I have gone to other places before and never had a problem and even never had a problem before today there but I definitely will not be back after the treatment today, I cant help I'm allergic to chocolate and it's to much of a hassle to use a different spoon for each of the ingredients so flubs doesn't actually cause someone to have an allergic reaction. read more

I still can't get the day out of my head when I was there last and the owners son cussed a customer out and made very bad remarks online after. I want to go watch his parents smack the crap out of him still and they are so pricey for what they sell the service needs to match that and it put a very bad stain on a good thing for me. I've passed this place a number of times and since the snow and ice is gone, I thought it was time to have a treat. It was a bit busy. I thought that there were more vehicles than people. Of course, where else do people go in Hamilton for soft serve? I've never seen a Dairy Queen. I've never seen a Baskin-Robbins or a Cold Stone Creamery--although I suspect the latter is available in Fairfield at Bridgewater Commons. I got a medium ($2.50, and it was larger than expected) cup of black and white--what they call a twist here--chocolate and vanilla. I wasn't expecting New Jersey style custard (I could hope!) but I got some really great soft serve ice cream that didn't let me down. Being that I have an allergy to milk, the risk was worth it, and surprisingly, I'm not having a problem. That's amazing, and it tasted great! Ah Flubs... I remember walking there after school on hot summer days when the season started. My friends and I would be so excited that Flubs was open because that meant that spring was finally here! We would walk to the little window in the building waiting for it to open and have the old familiar sweet smells float out to us. Waffle Cones have an unmistakable smell, and I think it can make everyone smile on the longest of days. I would get some sprinkled concoction that looked like it'd been dipped in a rainbow, or a banana split on my ambitious days. That banana boat would come out with the cherries on top and my day was made right then and there. There is just something about a creamy whip that makes the little kid resurface in all of us. Eating a cone and watching the ice cream drip on the black top, licking it off your fingers. Man... it definitely makes me smile. They have a couple of picnic tables next to the building too in case you have a messy concoction that you'd like to eat there. Flubs has stayed true to it's roots, and although they have expanded on some items they haven't changed much and for once, that's a good thing. I enjoy their blizzard creations, and even just a simple chocolate dipped cone from Flub's. If you're looking for your old creamy whip type of place and not a big box franchise, you won't be disappointed with Flub's. It's typically always busy, and for good reason.
