Okay I was out for a drive and was getting hungry so did a quick search for burgers near me as I didn't want a big meal just to relax and eat something yummy. Well I found it here. The burgers were freaking perfect. I mean I seriously could see myself coming back often to get them. And the Carmel milkshake was oh so tasty. I could not have been happier. The service was wonderful and the young lady that took my order was more than honest. I will say next time I will not order 4 burgers as they are not White Castle sized. The place was clean and I loved the outdoor seating area. Parking was good as well. I will be back and I already recommended it to my son as he drive by here a lot. read more

The shake was amazing ! Customer service was comforting BUT the meat in the burger was dry and bland. The chili was bland and the cheese was not tasteful therefore the chili cheese fries were soggy. No seasoning in food at all. Overall horrible food but great customer service. read more

Delicious! I heard this place was known for their dole whip, so that's what I tried. Scrumptious. Pineapple and vanilla twist with fresh pineapple juice poured over it. They also have a menu of different food and ice cream treats. The atmosphere is also very enjoyable with a great old-timey classic playlist that you want to slow dance too and soft yellow lights. As a relative newcomer to the area, seasonal ice cream stands still delight me. The reason why I like Sweden Creme the best is because they have secret Disney ice creams. That's right, I said it, secret Disney ice creams. For all of you other Disney fanatics out there, Sweden Creme has the Dole Pineapple Whip. It's a heavenly concoction of pineapple goodness that I've only ever seen at the Disney parks and in Hawaii. It tasted exactly the same, like childhood happiness and the tropics. They also have the Disney Kitchen Sink (which I will try one day but I need a group since it feeds multiple people). Every other ice cream I've tried here has been awesome. Sweden Creme is dog friendly oftentimes offering doggie treats, they play happy music and the stand is painted in happy colors. Notice the word "happy," being thrown around a lot. I can't imagine being anything but happy at this ice cream stand and the staff does an excellent job in creating that mood. When you come here (and you really need to) you will feel like you're in a little bubble of goodness. Highly recommend you hang out here one evening, it's magical. read more

We traveled far for this! About the closest thing to a real Dole Whip I can find! And that's hard to say because I've had the original in Hawaii! The customer service is wonderful. Family owned. Went here in March, right when things like this are opening. Seating is all outdoors or in your car. There are a few dedicated parking spots on the side as well. They have some hot food items as well as ice cream items. I took a quart of Dole pineapple whip to go! It's quite delicious and I would definitely go back! read more

Decent ice cream .But when we ordered a dole whip we did not get what was pictured .When I messaged to complain I feel like I got a bad attitude as a response.Customer service is everything.Small town local business complain about not getting customers but when you have unprofessional staff .Well there's your answer.And now the owner is messaging me asking for" proof "of the incident.i have proof and now he's arguing with me LOL ok look man .Im not looking for a free ice cream .That was last year .Just sucks that locally owned business think this is how you run a business.Ive worked in the food industry since I can remember and it's bad for business to false advertise and then blame the customer.I guess cutting corners is their way .Not adding soft serve unless it's requested????Then change your pictures of the desserts you sell .Or state that that's not the way it comes unless you REQUEST it that way .so sad . read more

So, I think that writing this review in 2016 instead of like 1997 says how poor of a Hamiltonian I am. I grew up in Hamilton, saw the Sweden Crème and actually thought of getting a job there many years ago. BUT, I had NEVER tried it in all those years of driving past. Flubs is the popular choice over here, but I wanted something different. The Sweden Crème is AWESOME because they have the norm in tasty treats, but also regular food as well. We opted for their version of the Dixie Hamburger, and if you are older than you've most likely tried them. They were delicious, complete with a stack of cooked onions on top. The burgers were a bit larger than a White Castle burger, but smaller than your typical slab o meat. The Dixie Burgers are notorious for being called Greasy Spoon burgers too because the wrapper will pretty much turn to liquid due to the amount of grease. Soooo I never said they were healthy, just yummy. One of the best things about this place is that they have the famous blue ice cream that they serve at Kings Island... HOLY YUM SAUCE BATMAN... talk about nostalgia. I'm standing outside an old fashioned ice cream joint eating this delicious blue raspberry version of what I may consider a close second to Heaven. I will definitely go back to the Sweden Crème to see what other delicious concoctions they have. Awesome little summer spot!! read more

I never had "the original Dixie burger" but the one Sweden cream serves is enjoyable. The Facebook posts IMO overrate this place. It's good dont get me wrong. However Facebook Users talk this place up like Jesus himself built it. The few bites my kid let me have of my ice cream before commandeering it as her own where very good. I tend to be UDF ice cream connoisseur. I worked for Graeter's and still believe UDF makes the best ice cream. I think ice cream tends to over market itself whether it be the method in which they put it in it's container, to it's Country of origin. I'm not sure if it's old grease or some sort of "unique" method to the fries but I dont think they're very good. A very dark and brown flaky Ore Ida. The burgers do go down like sliders. However like White Castle they serve them with burnt onion bits which I think ruin the sandwich. Keep them light brown to white or pitch them in my opinion. An onion is way to cheap of product to be scraping heavily cooked onto outgoing sandwiches. It's easy to park at and theres not parking meters. They've got several sizes of everything to choose from. Portion size is fair. No indoor seating area. Only umbrella'd outside. I cant say "if your in Hamilton you've got to try this place". It's definitely not a Jungle Jim tier business in uniqueness. However if you're not familiar with the area and happen to be in it, it's worth taking a shot on. Prices arent to bad and it's right on a main line so you wont have a hard time getting back on route.
