They have a few local beers including the Middletown Brewing Company collaboration with True West, the coffee stout. It's about $5 for a 16 ounce. This is strong and thick. It tastes a lot like an iced coffee. The rest of the beers on tap are mainly from the Cincinnati or Dayton breweries including MadTree and Warped Wing. The atmosphere is the best among the bars. Would love to check it out in the warmer months with the large patio space outside. I appreciate that they offer up the IBU as well as the alcohol content as it is easier to determine which beers you are going to enjoy. They seem to have a decent selection. No Defender, sadly, but I'll make a request on my next visit. Paying for the games is done 21st Century style, with a magic card that you tap on the machine and it takes the credits you've paid for. Easy to reload your card either at the bar or a handy self-service kiosk. Speaking of the bar they have many many beers on tap. Hot food (sandwiches, spaghetti bowls, wings) is available too. I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat here but I came for the games, man. The big back room has table seating and features lots of kiddie games plus claw machines. I saw some really attractive prizes but the machine was a bit costly so observe the amount of credits before you tap. In a brilliant move there is also a row of pinball back there, so the whole family can find something to enjoy and keep the kiddies out of the bar. Although they had a nice selection of appetizers, we jumped right into the entrées. Both the bangers & mash and fish & chips were very tasty with decent sized portions. Afterwards we shared the Guiness bread pudding with ice cream. Overall the food was excellent. Keep in mind this is located in a higher end hotel so prices are a bit more but not a show stopper. Service was very good and professional. It was a nice evening.
