Very friendly crew here and helpful with the questions. The nursery turned high end pizzeria is very nice and does a good job at being homey. There are two floors for seating and it's a good atmosphere. The food choices are limited to mostly pizza and a few classics for the kids. Solid selection of craft brews but no iced tea. They did have gluten free pizza crust so bonus on that! Very tasty and a good date place.

The beer was extremely good. I had the 2 different lagers, my wife the IPA. Keeping in mind this was only the 2nd day it was open. Talking to the owners wife they just ran out as opening day was overwhelming. Service was just fine. Same with the food. They shut kitchen early as just not enough food. (also day after a bad storm and other area restaurants were closed) It had a nice vibe as well with a large 2 story fireplace as a centerpiece. It was a bit loud but thats because it was packed and weather wasn't great to allow for a lot of outoutdoor seating and the garage doors to be opened. I'll definitely go back here in a bit when they have had a chance to catch up.

Fantastic new brewery in Harrison OH. Grand opening celebration coming up, but sneak peaks ahead of that are proving this is a winning combination of great food, awesome beers, friendly service and awesome decor. Incredible remodel/expansion of the former Burwinkel's Farm store. Beautiful hearth is the centerpiece of the room with plenty of seating for families and groups. A great addition to the Harrison Ohio family!

Get yourself a flight. Too many good ones to get stuck on one!

No hostess on a Friday night, seat yourself. Which equals 4-5 groups fighting to the death to claim a table the second someone stands up.

I did the build your own salad with Iceberg Romaine, Herb Pulled Chicken, Ghost Pepper Jack Cheese, Banana Peppers, Broccoli, Carrots, Edamame, Croutons and Avocado Ranch dressing. The good first, though: Whatever the flaws in its business model, Green District still turns out well-conceptualized salads that always seem fresh and tasty. The Hide & Go Greek is a very nice chicken one with a robust, terrific dressing. The Thai One On salad is (you guessed it) an Asian-influenced one with shrimp, lots of cabbage and cilantro, and a kind of generic but fresh-tasting Asian-style ginger-heavy dressing. Also very good. Fortunate thing you can order online and don't have to verbalize those unwieldy salad names to a fellow human. (But if you think those names are bad, another one wants you to hold its beer: the Tequila Mockingbird.). Anyway, the food gets this to three stars, but only barely. Alas, the service at this location is a shambles. Count on at least a 35-minute wait, even if you order right after 11am, when things presumably ought not to be backed up. And it looks like chaos back there--just not enough employees back there, most likely. Last time it took this restaurant an incomprehensible 50 minutes to get my salad out. (Who with a regular lunch "hour" downtown has time for this?) Credit to the unflappable and put-upon young fella at the end of the line; he kept doing his job steadily and kept cheerful about it. The manager is always madly rushing about and isn't nearly as cheery (but it almost certainly isn't her fault, either). It astonishing that the food can be is good as it is in this environment. There's something very wrong about this restaurant's business model when the family-run lunch spot down the street (seemingly just as many orders) can crank out your to-go salad (as good as here, for the most part) in three to five minutes and be as friendly as they can be about it. Whoever came up with the plan has some major issues to resolve.

We split their better than anyone else's (even mine) breaded tenderloin sandwich, fried mushrooms (homemade) and later will polish off a piece of homemade carrot cake. The tenderloin was freshly hand battered, as were the mushrooms. The batter was crispy and light, and enrobed a nice thick piece of tenderloin. If you are a tenderloin fan like we are, you gotta try it. Big enough for both of us with some leftover for later. Our takeout bag included salt, ketchup, and plastic ware. What I didn't expect is the bread and butter that they also included! I knew from reading the reviews that every table gets this bread service. I was very impressed that they included it in takeout. We will be back soon, and I hope to try other menu items. But that tenderloin is sooo good, it will definitely be a struggle to order anything else.

We looked at the menu and we all decided to get the same thing, the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. I had the sandwich with onion rings and coleslaw. The tenderloin comes on a bun with pickles, tomato, onion, and mayo. I asked them to leave the mayo off of mine and they did. I chose to put mustard on mine and it was on the table along with ketchup. They have Pepsi products and I ordered a Dr. Pepper. My husband had the fries with his tenderloin. They were incredibly quick on getting the meal out to us. Everything was piping hot! Our waitress was good about checking on us and refilling drinks. Also they have bread service and we had fresh hot bread with soft butter prior to getting our meal. My tenderloin was meaty and pretty good, hubby thought it had too much breading. Coleslaw was ok. Onion rings were good. Someone came over to our table to ask if we would like one of their homemade desserts, I am assuming he was the manager. My friends took home a piece of carrot cake and they said it was good. The other offerings they had on this evening were peach cobbler, blackberry cobbler, and a couple different cheesecakes. Overall it was good and we decided we would go back again to try something different on the menu.

After talking to the workers we were excited to get so many items to try and we tipped 2X because we were ordering so much and there was no one else waiting since they just opened the kitchen. We tried a lot of items to see what we would enjoy. The bowl was hands down the winner. I wish it was a little more flavorful but it was a lot of food for the price. This was the only item we ate in its entirety. Also the soda was actually really good and a different taste that we both enjoyed. Overall most of the food was a little bland but decent quality. It needed more flavoring like maybe adding roasted garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary etc or any other herbs and seasoning to keep it healthy and flavorful. Now here's the disappointing news... the sweet potato fries were overcooked, I even mentioned it to the server and they didn't offer anything so she walked away since I just left it at that. I regret not speaking up more but I had other errands to run so I let it go. I'm still shocked they served me that especially when we told them it was our 1st time and after ordering so much to support. But I could have also easily asked for another sided. Mac was not for me, they did tell us it was a queso sauce but we still wanted to try and I think a pasta salad would have been a better option. The smoothie had a strong wheat after taste but it didn't turn me off, what did turn me off was the berries didn't taste like fresh fruit, almost a little too sweet. I expected it to be brighter like a little tart and sweet but all I could taste was the wheat flavor and a chalky, sweet, artificial strawberry. Also the apple with the peanut butter dip was almost like the apple was frozen then cut up and cut to order. I really wasn't sure why it was so cold and not really as fresh. But maybe that's just me being I Honey crisp & green apples because they are hard tart apples. I wanted to give this place a chance since I'm trying to eat better but I haven't been back and probably don't plan on it . I did give me some ideas when cooking at home more so it helped me become more motivated to cook instead of eating out as restaurants.

But my issue was the pulled pork was not warm and the cheese was not fully melted. I'm thinking they might want to warm the pulled pork up then put it in the sub then put it in the panini press otherwise you end up with a cold middle. The country of Cuba is not cold in the middle, nor should the sandwich named for the country.
