The food was just ok. The pizza was just pizza. The beer was just beer. Nothing remarkable about either. Service is non existent. Great new brew house in Harrison. It's just off I74. Nice selection of beers. Their salted caramel porter is a good match on a cold evening in front of their fireplace.... For the warmer weather coming.....they have Mollys mango, Pennys strawberry and Wake up Betty coffee.... All three are blonde ales and their Fuego Mexican lager.... Modelo/Corona summer beers. They do have pizza, salads, and sandwiches too. read more

My husband and I have had the pleasure to dine at Hearth Brewing a couple of times since they opened in Harrison, Ohio. We both really enjoy this new addition to our community. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and eager to serve you. During our most recent we started off with the Meatballs served with Parmesan bread. Delicious! And it's the perfect sharing size for two people. For our entree, we ordered the Margherita Pizza, though my husband asked for pepperoni and sausage on his half. It was wonderful too! The crust is thin and crispy, and the toppings were fresh. For dessert we took home two cookies: one chocolate chip and one snickerdoodle. Yum! The cookies were huge, soft, and oh so good! The next time you're in the neighborhood I suggest you stop in for a bite. Bon Appétit, and make sure you take home a cookie to satisfy your sweet tooth. read more

Very friendly crew here and helpful with the questions. The nursery turned high end pizzeria is very nice and does a good job at being homey. There are two floors for seating and it's a good atmosphere. The food choices are limited to mostly pizza and a few classics for the kids. Solid selection of craft brews but no iced tea. They did have gluten free pizza crust so bonus on that! Very tasty and a good date place. read more

The beer was extremely good. I had the 2 different lagers, my wife the IPA. Keeping in mind this was only the 2nd day it was open. Talking to the owners wife they just ran out as opening day was overwhelming. Service was just fine. Same with the food. They shut kitchen early as just not enough food. (also day after a bad storm and other area restaurants were closed) It had a nice vibe as well with a large 2 story fireplace as a centerpiece. It was a bit loud but thats because it was packed and weather wasn't great to allow for a lot of outoutdoor seating and the garage doors to be opened. I'll definitely go back here in a bit when they have had a chance to catch up. read more

Fantastic new brewery in Harrison OH. Grand opening celebration coming up, but sneak peaks ahead of that are proving this is a winning combination of great food, awesome beers, friendly service and awesome decor. Incredible remodel/expansion of the former Burwinkel's Farm store. Beautiful hearth is the centerpiece of the room with plenty of seating for families and groups. Good food, but limited menu. All other brewery type places I've been to have a much better menu. $3 cans of pop, fountain drinks system sorely needed. More table service needed. I think they are focusing on the "brewery" part too much. read more

If you're a beer & pizza person, it's very good. However, if you're an older person, it's not at all for you. No waitresses (you order at the bar & a smartphone is required.) It's pricey (a "pint" is $7 & it's not a UK pint.) The second floor seating has no elevator to get to & high-tops rule the first floor. You're eating on paper plates. Etc. It's a modern take on pizza & beer that works great for the younger crowd with kids. Not for anyone who wants a normal sit-down dining experience (or over sixty.) read more

Amazing pizza. Great beer. My only criticism is that eating inside, with the garage doors closed it was extremely loud. Loud enough that it made it difficult to have a conversation at our table. Will go back in warmer weather and sit outside. read more

Me and my boyfriend checked this place out with some of our Friends nice atmosphere for some pizza and a beer I actually got the one cider they had not bad for apple I switched to wine later in the night I had over slice of pizza pretty tasty I also got the fried cheese ravioli appetizer it was okay a little burnt it's a nice hang out spot we played some games it can get a little pricey at $8.00 a beer if you plan on staying to keep drinking but overall if your looking for a place for pizza maybe 2 beers and a nice fire it's nice you also order your food through the QR code and grab the pizza and drinks your self Whitch was kind of nice read more

It's a local home place where we even met some people in Harrison that we hadn't seen in a long long time and the service was fantastic and the range of beers was adequate and the pizza was very, very good. This place is in a great location and is so cool inside! Claire was so accommodating when we wanted to try a sample or to just talk about the beers. (She was so knowledgeable!) My husband got a flight and I ended up drinking one of those (Burwink Ale - very light!) and a cider. The big pretzel and beer cheese are now our faves compared to other breweries! App based ordering. No wait staff, drinks are retrieved by GUESTS at the bar. Food has to be picked up by GUESTS as well. Is this what we've come to? 18% tip added automatically even though App says if you close your tab it won't be added. So I paid a tip to get my own food and drinks. I hope I don't have to clean up my own table. Oh, and by the way, as you're eating , if you want another drink, you have to wait at the bar. They took the most basic eating experience and forced it into a crappy bar experience. Food was OK but not good enough to overcome this experience. It was a bit pricey too. A welcomed addition to Harrison, Hearth Brewing is a great craft brewery worth your visit. While I've not had a chance to try their food, it's a brewery first so i stopped long enough for a flight and would suggest you do the same. They have a quality beer selection.
