Today's review is on the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. Mine came loaded with pork and tangy bbq sauce with some coleslaw on the bun. My side was the APG house salad which is not only very tasty, but a beautiful work of food art! The accompanying vinaigrette dressing is a perfect pairing, tangy flavor that partners well with the feta, sunflower seeds and craisens in the salad. Service is always excellent. Location: Right off of Red Bank Road, with plenty of parking options. Service: I was greeted by a super friendly woman working the front desk and she answered all of my questions and went through each of the food options with me. It seems like she even knew which customers were regulars, which shows how much they value customer service. Price: its a little up there. You can get 10 meals for $80. Cheaper than eating your lunch and dinner out every day but likely more than the cost of a weeks worth of groceries. Luckily the ease and the variety of the meals helps make the decision to purchase easier. Food: So far I've only had the Sweet and Sour chicken... PERFECT. It had a little kick to it but was flavorful. I definitely feel full after finishing despite the fact that it's not a huge portion. I have many more to try, but the other customers in the store raved about all the options. Including the bang bang tacos and cheeseburger bowls. I also saw some pastas, chili, salmon and veggies, chicken and rice dishes, tacos and more. And I arrived at the END of the day! We both just opted for chips for the side item and I ordered a side of Spicy Pimento Cheese for us to share. The chicken salad is very good! Both of us (my daughter has been before) enjoyed it. The pimento cheese was ok. I think we both would've preferred the jalapeños in it be fresh vs the jarred pickled type. The jarred pickled flavor overwhelmed it and it wasn't as good as we were expecting. The pickles were good too. As were the little cookies that came with the meal! I think my only complaint would be that the sandwich is pretty skimpy on the chicken salad for the price. It's mostly croissant. My boss and I stopped by this location on a Wednesday for lunch. The place itself is bigger than I'd expected with all the usual tasty selections that Servatii makes so well. In this location, the deli is in the back of the store, and there's plenty of seating nearby. After a little perusing through the menu, we both decided on a classic Reuben, since we're both avid fans. My boss also got a bowl of their homemade chicken noodle soup. Before our sandwiches were ready, the employee at the deli said unfortunately they were out of sauerkraut. I got mine without but my boss asked for lettuce and tomato instead. We didn't wait much longer before it was all ready. All in all, I did enjoy my Reuben, but it was lacking a bit without the sauerkraut. My boss enjoyed his too and really liked the soup. Honestly, I think I need to go back and get the Reuben with sauerkraut to gauge a true opinion on it though. Maybe next time, and next time, I'll likely grab a few of their delicious desserts to take home for my lady. This was a very good experience overall and reason to go back for the deli. I already enjoy pretty much everything else here. Never had a bad experience at a Servatii and that trend is continuing for sure.
