I just moved back to Cincy a few weeks ago, which of course I was excited to have Currito back in my life! I love it so much that my friends literally make fun of me because I randomly love Currito, but the customer service both times I've been to this location since moving back has been bizarrely bad. Tonight, I ordered a bowl and realized it was missing several of the ingredients that were supposed to come on it. I showed the employee and explained what was missing, and instead of just fixing it, she told me, "No, they're there, you just can't see them." I told her again that they weren't, and she doubled down and then just walked away and refused to fix the bowl. And, shockingly, when I actually ate it -- they were not there. The previous time I came in, I ordered a bowl with a couple modifications and the employee literally rolled her eyes at me like I was inconveniencing her by placing an order. I know this is a fast-casual job and I'm not expecting over-the-top service, but I do expect employees to be basically polite and to fix an order when it's made incorrectly instead of arguing with the customer and walking away. It's especially disappointing because Currito was genuinely one of my favorite spots for a quick lunch or dinner, and this location is ruining it for me. read more

Currito is such a great restaurant. The employees are always friendly and helpful and the restaurant is super casual. Think of it like Chipotle, but not just Mexican. You can get wraps, bowls or salads. My husband always goes through and chooses what sounds good at the time, while I typically get the Bangkok. I love the way their thai-style peanut sauce blends with their spicy cashew vinaigrette. It's soooo yummy! Sorry. Only spent a few days in cincy and had currito TWICE!! and both meals felt completely different. I got the mediterranean bowl which was so refreshing and upon checkout i told the girl it was my first time trying currito so she gave me to free entree gift cards. So unexpected and nice. So naturally i came back the next day to use my gift card and got the harvest bowl. LOVED this bowl and sat at a high top table to enjoy it. Had no idea this placed was owned by the same people of many of the most popular restaurants in OTR (the eagle, kruegers, bakersfield)! And Currito is right up there with those spots. Great food, no so great service. When you walk in, staff are on their phones and too preoccupied to greet you. Wall up to the counter and still no desire to ask you for your order. I love Currito. When I was in college (10+ years ago) I remember being confused by this "strange new Chipotle." Since then, I've really developed a love for Currito. The salads at Currito are my favorite and I love how much room for customization there are! I also like the variety in greens. A little bit of arugula thrown in my salad? Yes please. With a little bit of sour cream and my favorite salsas, there's no need for any dressing here! This location is located right by Rookwood commons, so it's easy to pop by when you're out on errands. There's also a parking lot (where I've never had an issue finding a spot. The portions are generous and the prices are on-par for a typical fast casual dining. I'll be back! read more

I hate this location and it makes me shy away from all currito's. The lettuce is always BROWN, employees are rude and over all everything I order no matter what it is tastes awful. Plus, it's $32 for two people when I go to chipotle, order the same thing and is $25 plus tastes much better and more fresh. This was my absolute last time coming here. read more

CurriTo is similar to Chipotle. Unlike Chipotle, there is a greater variety of cuisines. CurriTo also offers Asain inspired dishes, salads, smoothies and milkshakes. There is a wide variety of children's options. I ordered the berry smoothie. Storng mixed berry flavors. I could not taste one berry over another. Thick enough that the smoothie had body, but not so thick that it was hard to drink through a straw. The smoothie was particularly seedy. Some places let the smoothie sit for a minute, that way the seeds sink to the bottom and there are less in the customer's cup. As I was walking out of the door I saw two of the people from behind the counter pouring the rest of the liquid from the blender into small cups and drinking it. I'm guessing they didn't want to let the seed set because they didn't want to be drinking them all themselves. Customer service was that of high school kid's working their first job. read more

Great lunch/dinner spot for when you are trying to have a quick, healthy and affordable meal. They are comparable to your Chipotle/Moe's/Qudoba restaurants where you order/prepare your meal and then you sit down and eat. The nice thing about Currito is that they have way more options than their competitors. I personally think that the additional toppings can go a long way. Also, who doesn't love additional sauce options. That always goes a long way! This is a place for families, work gatherings or even some alone time as they have a great music soundtrack. I have been dying to try this place out for a while, and I have to say, it didn't disappoint. The idea of having travel-able Indian food just really appealed to me. We had the dog with us, so we had to order take out. I ordered a tikki masala burrito with double chicken and my wife ordered a Bangkok steak small burrito. Have to say, it really hit the spot overall. I wasn't prepared to like the spicy chickpeas as much as I did, the seasonings were really on point, and the chicken was magical. We even ordered my 3 year old a quesadilla that he actually ate! Which, I mean, this is practically a miracle in of itself. The price point was fair for what you got as well. In all honesty, I would have probably rated it higher if the staff had taken a moment to review my order to make sure we had everything. I had to go back in to get my wife's fountain drink and they also forgot the guacamole for the chips. They were nice at least, so at least the customer service has a nice game face. Anyways, next time we're up in this area, we will have to give this place another visit and hopefully give it another star or two. read more

Hyde Park has plenty of fast casual options, but Currito stands above the rest in my opinion. I've always been a fan of Currito and used to make the trek over to Kenwood just to have it, but now it's right in my backyard! This Currito is just as nice as the other ones, and the food is very consistent with other locations. You can order a small burrito, large burrito, or bowl for your meal. I prefer the small burrito because this is usually the perfect size for a lunch or lighter dinner. My favorites are the Mediterranean (hummus, brown rice, feta, cucumber, veggies, on a whole wheat tortilla) and the Tikka (cilantro lime rice, cucumber, curried chick peas, yogurt sauce, spicy tikka masala sauce), and I usually get them with chicken. My husband is obsessed with their Buffalo burrito, which tastes basically like buffalo wings (white rice, buffalo sauce, celery, blue cheese). Service in this location is very good, the food comes out super fast, and everything is delicious as usual. No complaints! read more

Quickly turning into one of my favorite spots. It's healthy, delicious and the people are always friendly. I tried the new seasonal item. Farro Bowl more like favorite bowl...Crushed it! They should add a dance floor bc the music makes me want to get footloose! My girl was feelin it.... The only reason you won't get a 5 is bc it was kind of chilly! It's December...crank that heat up! When this Currito location first opened, I was quickly addicted to it. I love any burrito place that minimizes the amount of cilantro on the menu. Yes, I am one of those people who have the "cilantro tastes like soap" issue. I am a little torn on 3 or 4 stars, here, because they were great when they first opened, but I have since gotten some mediocre to bleh burritos. I would say the last 3 times I went, I was disappointed in the quality of the food, and it makes me not want to return. The location is a one of those revolving door kind of situations, where no matter what business goes into the location, they struggle and often fail. It happened to Romeo's Pizza, which was just a couple of doors down in the strip mall. And it happened to the Smash Burger that used to inhabit the same space. Considering how empty this Currito is most times I've been there, I imagine it will only be a matter of time before they call it quits as well. I am sure semi-negative reviews like this don't really help matters, but when the quality of the food begins to decline and stay consistently bleh, the writing is kind of on the wall. Grabbed a burrito today and was pleasantly surprised. I am a huge chipotle fan, so I tend to frequent chipotle... but currito might be my new spot. I love all of the different offerings, food seemed fresh and was tasty, and the service was great. I had a poor experience a few years ago at the currito in Kenwood, which was the reason I have hesitated going back... but I am really glad I did! read more

I have driven by Currito numerous times but never stopped in. Today was my first visit and it was delicious. I had a salad with tofu, quinoa, guac, black beans, and salsa. The quality of food is very fresh. The mango salsa is awesome and I am drooling thinking about going back to get more. Even though it was busy the line moved quick. The employees were polite and efficient. My order came out just as I expected. Price is reasonable for the high level of quality. I have always liked Currito. They have many different options than a place like Chipotle. Just a couple of the options you can put in are feta cheese, scallions, grilled onions, 15 different sauces, lentils, and chickpeas. If you like Chipotle, I promise you that you will love Currito more. Even better it is a Cincinnati based company, and who doesn't like supporting a home grown company. Everytime you go you can craft your own creation. Currito has a rewards program - sign up for it if you haven't already, everytime you purchase you receive one point for each $1 you spend and they have promotions. Currito is one of my favorite "fast food" restaurants, and I like this location the most. Service is quick and friendly (and super nice), parking usually isn't an issue, and the employees are mindful about putting "light" ingredients when asked. I love Currito's different and interesting ingredients and sauces (see: cucumbers, hummus, teriyaki, tikka, chickpeas, kale, and quinoa -- not together, of course), and I especially love that there are small [wheat] burrito options. Currito is often a healthy meal choice that is also delicious. I stopped into this location for a quick lunch, and it was the most empty I've ever seen a Currito! I'm going to chalk that up to the fact I arrived 15 minutes after they opened, and the location itself hasn't been around that long. I imagine this place is slammed at lunch time during the week though! I always ALWAYS stick to the Mediterranean burrito bowl. It's just SO. GOOD. This is indeed like Chipotle, but with more variety and options. The food is fresh, and fast. I like that you can get traditional burrito stuff, but you can also try other options like the Tikka. Currito, what can I say? You are my love. I have never had a bad experience or not delicious burrito/salad/smoothie from this place, any location! My favorite "fast food" place by any and all measures. I love all the specialty burritos, faves are Mediterranean and Teriyaki. I tend to order burritos whenever I go, but have tried a salad before as well as a quesadilla and they were great. Smoothies I've gotten multiple times and they're tasty and fresh. Chips and salsa aren't anything to write home about but the chips are good and salsa is fresh. It really sets them apart that they offer so many specialty burritos with totally off the wall flavors and perfectly balanced combinations of ingredients. They offer different sizes of burrito which is amazing for me as a petite person I can barely finish a regular size in one sitting and the small size is sometimes exactly what I need. The staff at the Hyde Park Currito near me is super friendly and kind and they always are attentive and make my order just how I want it! Not to mention adding kale is free and there are bottles or Sriracha at every table. I have a Currito card I use to earn points, when you first get a card and load $10 they load an additional $10 for free! Continue earning a point per dollar spent and once you reach 80 you get an $8 credit. Forever my favorite burrito stop. Chipotle, Qdoba, and Hot Head Burritos have nothing on you.
