I'm definitely a fan of Servatii when it comes to tasty desserts, and I know they have a deli too, but I haven't had a chance to try that side of them until recently for lunch. Overall, I'd say the experience was very good, and one that I'd gladly revisit. Good deli-style sandwiches at great prices and fast service. My boss and I stopped by this location on a Wednesday for lunch. The place itself is bigger than I'd expected with all the usual tasty selections that Servatii makes so well. In this location, the deli is in the back of the store, and there's plenty of seating nearby. After a little perusing through the menu, we both decided on a classic Reuben, since we're both avid fans. My boss also got a bowl of their homemade chicken noodle soup. Before our sandwiches were ready, the employee at the deli said unfortunately they were out of sauerkraut. I got mine without but my boss asked for lettuce and tomato instead. We didn't wait much longer before it was all ready. All in all, I did enjoy my Reuben, but it was lacking a bit without the sauerkraut. My boss enjoyed his too and really liked the soup. Honestly, I think I need to go back and get the Reuben with sauerkraut to gauge a true opinion on it though. Maybe next time, and next time, I'll likely grab a few of their delicious desserts to take home for my lady. This was a very good experience overall and reason to go back for the deli. I had never been to Servatii because it isn't close to where I live, however my grandmother is a huge fan and recently went on hospice. She has been asking for the broccoli quiche and lemon meringue pie. The employees were so kind and were able to help me get exactly what I needed. Amazing donuts that my customer picked up today because he lives in Cincinnati and commutes every day to Dayton. Worth it (for me) because they were insanely good. Yeah, I broke my keto just a little bit. Fortunately, there was a knife here and so I was able to cut off a thin slice of the one at the top center that was had a chocolate cinnamon filling. This location is so much more than just a bakery. It is huge and spacious with tons of seating. They keep it very clean. There is a pastry, cookie, cake, bread, and deli counter. There is also a fridge with take home faves such as bier cheese! I had visited before to get some cream puffs, but recently finally made it early enough that the deli was still open. They had a current seasonal special of a goetta reuben. I made it a meal and chose corn chowder as my side. It also came with a pretzel stick, pickle, drink, and cookies. What a great deal for $6.75. I ate half and was full! The sandwich was a superb take on the reuben... goetta was pefectly done. The soup was rich and quite the treat. Best corn chowder ive had in a long time. Of course they excel at the pretzel. The pickle and cookies were good too. I got some cream puffs to go and those are always a seasonal fall fave. I cant forget to mention how accommodating and friendly the staff service was! When I had to go back up and ask for a to go box for my left overs, the guy behind the counter even made sure to give me wrap so I could keep the sandwich and pickle separate. I have eaten here twice in the past two days. It was my self-proclaimed Mental Health weekend, and it was MUCH needed. The cold, gray roller-coaster weather, balancing work, carpooling etc. can just leave one burned out - so when I want comfort carbs, Servatii is a stellar way to go! I had a quick lunch at this location, and it was so calm and quiet and relaxing. I splurged calorically and ate every bite of a ham and cheese melt on a toasted pretzel bun, with a cheese danish for dessert. DELICIOUS AND AFFORDABLE, real stick-to-your-ribs comfort food. That cheese danish is soooo, soooo good, not too sweet, with the flakiest, most buttery soft and tender pastry! This AM I had errands to do with my kiddo and I wanted something cheaper & more convenient than a sit-down restaurant but more home-style and cozy than Panera or fast food. I landed back at this Servatii and had a beautiful slice of savory Quiche Lorraine and a frosted cinnamon roll (they will microwave it for you upon request so that it will be warm and gooey). The quiche came with a little fruit cup, tomato/lettuce garnish and 3 tea cookies. ALL FOR LESS THAN $7! I lovelovelove tea room-style food (e.g., quiche, tarts, pastries, finger sandwiches), but I don't want to deal with making a minimum-headcount reservation OR paying $50 for a tea luncheon. Great food and the price is more than fair, but their service is slow AF! If their kitchen, not the bakery, wasn't so understaffed, this place would be perfect. Bonus points: the fish tank is always clean and lively. The fish always appear healthy. Keep that tank going forever! The only down fall is that they could use a touch of modernizing, but not too much because it'll loose it's character, but more importantly, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Servatii has some of the best looking breads and desserts I'll ever see, but I'm not reviewing those. Their lunch and breakfast options are what I care about! Breakfast - Very few places offer non-pork meat options with their breakfast menu, thankfully Servatii's does, and for the cost (less than $5) what you get is plenty - fruit, sandwich, tea cookies. I don't always have time to stop in the morning, but I'm always glad when I do. Lunch - Same as above with regards to quality of food, it's great, the sandwiches are delicious and the salad options are wonderful. However, the cost is definitely too high, I appreciate that they're delivering a better product than the Jimmy Johns down the street, but I don't feel it's worthy of a $3-4 increase. Servatii's is a classic local pastry and deli chain. They are famous for their cookies and pasties but also offer deli selections. I had never been to this particular location until the other day. They had fresh bagels, donuts, pretzels, and pastries ready for the eating! I tried one of their lime cheesecakes an it was melt in your mouth delicious, literally. The cheesecake part was so creamy and soft. The deli section serves sandwiches and stuff, but that's not why I go to Servatii's. The fun is in the sweets! At this location there were a few tables with some elders playing card games. I thought that was so cute! It's nice that they have a comfy place to come to play cards! read more

Servatii has a great selection and this location even has a nice sit down area and deli. We came right after stopiing by Busken Bakery so I did not go as crazy as I usually would have. They have way more than Donuts, Cakes, every pasty imaginable, it took awhile to take it all in. I just bought the staples I could not leave without and while it was all very good I preferred Busken up the street. It really depends on what you are in the mood for, Servatii is a bit more high end with a larger selection, Busken more home made just straight GOOD! My only complaint is a couple of the older women behind the counter are down right mean and have cost this place 2 stars in this instance. We were in Cincinnati on business and went to this Servatii yesterday morning for breakfast with a friend. WOW! Their pastries are wonderful. We tried the apricot danish, German Chocolate danish, a Persian, and a chocolate glazed doughnut. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We went through the line a second time to get goodies to take home. My husband loves rye bread and I got him a rye horn that he ate last night and LOVED. We have a loaf of hearty rye bread and rye hamburger buns that we haven't tried yet. He's very excited about the hamburger buns -- NEVER found those in rye! We have cherry strudel, some more danish, and an almond pretzel for later. We were waited on by two different ladies. Both were friendly, patient, and very helpful with explaining what all the delicious pastries were. It's a good thing I don't live in Cincinnati! I would be here all the time. read more

Servatii in Oakley/Hyde Park used to have the best tea cookies and cupcakes ever. However, for the past year or so, I notice that the tea cookies taste 'watered down' (tasteless), and I just bought some iced cupcakes a few days ago - they were small, overpriced (6 for $8.10) and tasted like cornbread with a dollop of icing on them. Less than a week after visiting the Servatii Pastry Shop & Deli in Symmes Township, I went into another local Servatii shop. Even though I liked the Shops at Harper's Point location (Symmes), I was very impressed with the latest Servatii I found in Anderson Township. The store was very big, at least twice the size (but probably bigger) of the other one, and it wasn't a pastry shop and deli, but instead a pastry shop and café. The large Servatii was very nice too (there was even an aquarium with 10 or 12 fish) and spacious, although I don't know if it ever gets crowded enough in the morning or around lunch time to fill up most of the seating. I just grabbed one of those smiley face cookies for 85 cents, but they have a ton of other great pastries/baked goods and food items just like the one I reviewed (and went into more detail about in the review). I saw a Best of Cincinnati sign, and although the City Beat award may have been for all Servatii shops, it might as well have been for this one because of how nice it was (and the actual yummy desserts and lunch foods). The employees were fairly friendly too, and the many desserts in the display case looked delicious. Stop on in if you are planning a big event (birthday, wedding) or are just craving a cookie or donut, and you won't be disappointed. read more

This is a bakery in the front of the store and a café in the back. This is a big draw for the senior population. They have a four different types of quiche. An amazing assortment of sandwiches served on their delicious pretzel breads, rye breads and sourdough breads. No fountain soda available but bottles of Pepsi products and water and tea. I had Servatii's on the brain the rest of the day! This Servatii's has a cafe as well as the bakery. Of course you have to go to the back and pass all the bakery goods to order from the cafe. Love, love, love this bakery and cafe. The coffee is amazing, and the sweets are the perfect companion to the coffee. What I love most about this place is how kind everyone is there not just to me, but to my kiddos. My daughter who is three is always offered a free treat, and she loves the huge fish tank in the middle of the place. She walks around and smiles at all the customers, and the employees love seeing her enjoy herself. I am a big fan of any place that treats families kindly, and doesn't just try to get them out the door as soon as possibly.
