My nephew enjoyed a Nutella filled croissant, while I enjoyed an almond croissant, as well as a salted caramel item that was possibly a tart of some sort. After wanting to try this place for some time and seeing tons of ads (with pics) about their Korean food, today we went. All the pastries looked yummy. We chose a few to share. At the register we asked about the Korean food. Nope. Not an, I'm sorry our ads brought you here under false pretenses. Just nope. That was a limiter time. I sure don't remember seeing that. There's some sandwiches over there. There may be some Korean influence. ‍ some of our pastries are sort of Korean.... Later we selected a sausage in bread from the pastry case. I asked, is this a French sausage? A second cashier said, I don't know with a tone & expression that made it seem a mystery. Not, I'll ask. Just IDK. ‍ When we went in there was one other customer & we waited while staff finished their chat behind the counter. Many of the tables were dirty and the floor was sticky. I've now been to the new Rookwood location TWICE! The selection of sweet and savory pastries is FANTASTIC. (I'm going again tomorrow to try some more.) Don't sleep on the big wrapped cookies by the register. I'm working my way through all the flavors. That red velvet... YUM and was perfect for a lunar new year hostess gift:) My only complaint is that on my first visit I got a premade lunch turkey sandwich as labeled & paid for on receipt--but when I opened it (back at the office), it was an egg w/bacon sandwich. We are excited to have Paris Baguette closer to home and much more easily accessible with plenty of parking, compared to the downtown location. This franchise gets the interior vibes down every time with plenty of natural light, tile work, and bright displays full of pastries. The selection provides enough variety to satisfy your savory and sweet cravings. The staff were incredibly welcoming as soon as we walked in. We opted for the peanut bread, coffee donut, red bean sweet rice donut, and French bread. Everything was delicious and tasted like it was baked that morning. Satisfying crunch on the pastries. The sweet donut with red bean paste inside is so good and I love the mochi donuts!! And I hope to get that gorgeous cappuccino cake for my bday this year. I already adored Paris Baguette from the downtown location and I am so thrilled this one is open! I've been twice already and both times, the staff has been friendly and eager to help. This past visit, I enjoyed a butter pecan supreme croissant. I hoped to eat half and save half for the next day, but much to my chagrin, I looked down and the whole things was gone! I have a lot to say..... Bear with me..... First I will say - the pastries I've had from here are DELICIOUS! & the store is clean & well organized! I've gone 3 times total..... BUT they have some room for improvement. I've been on a matcha kick and was looking for a place that opens at 6am so I can get my son a coffee/matcha & donuts before he gets on the bus. I decided to give them a try. Online they advertise ALL of the donuts and pastries available for as early as 6:30am pickup. I was tempted to do that but I wanted to look at them in person. I arrived at 6:05am. The lady working was nice and helpful but she was still working to set out pastries. The display cases were almost empty as only a few had been ready to set out. If you're going to open at 6 - I feel like everything should be out and ready for purchase at 6am when the doors open. And this isn't just a one off situation. I went again at around 730am another time and the same thing was happening. Not all of their items were ready for purchase. They really need to work on that. It's very inconvenient. Their coffee and drinks are very good! The baked goods are fresh and yummy as well. I just think they could do better when it comes to having everything available when the store opens! read more

I'm so so happy that Paris Baguette finally opened up a little bit closer to home! So story is that when I worked in California for a year about 5 years ago, Paris Baguette was always a place where I could stop and do a little bit of work or just meet friends after a meal somewhere. They have locations throughout all the suburban towns that I worked in and It was always spot on with their desserts, pastries, but at the time I wasn't drinking coffee so I didn't know about that. Fast forward all these years later, I have moved to Cincinnati permanently and I was so happy when I learned about their new downtown location but it was borderline a little bit out of the way to get to. Parking was always a bit tough too. But I went a lot and I even got my husband hooked on it. Fast forward to now and we have one even closer! We went in a couple days after the big snow hit in January of 24 and despite so many places being closed, they were open and rearing to go. They had all of their pastries displayed and everything looked as spic and span and new! The employees you could tell were pretty new at everything and it took a long time to get our coffee orders down but they will eventually get on board with it. I tried one of the new winter selections, the butter pecan latte and it was excellent. Things are going to be a bit more expensive here but you get what you pay for and you definitely get high quality. Ambience is nice and clean with a bit of a cafe atmosphere. Definitely worth exploring for their South Korean but European inspired pastries. The hash brown bread has pretty much become one of my favorite breakfast that I have there. Came here for a quick treat on New Year's Day. Such a nice, new, clean location. The baked goods all looked fantastic, so it was hard to pick. We ended up with a few mochi donuts, a couple croissants, and two tiramisu tarts. So far, we've only had the donuts (sugar and strawberry), but they were absolute FIRE. We order 2 egg salads sandwiches, a chicken Caesar wrap, a turkey avocado sandwich, and a sourdough turkey melt. A bag of bbq and jalapeno chips, and a Iced Green Tea. They had No egg salad, had to replace with two sourdough turkey melts. Only received two turkey melts, and one BACON EGG AND CHEESE sandwich. And the sourdough sandwiches didn't have mustard on them LIKE ON THE DESCRIPTION. Didn't receive the tea and didn't get the jalapeno chips. tried calling them literally 25 times and the line stayed busy!!! I would not order from them again.
