We were next door for dental appointments and were very excited to find out that "Velvet Oven Bakery " opened 2 days ago. Of course, we had try their viral desserts. My favorite was biscoff cheesecake. However, all desserts were delicious. Service was okay.

Well, I finally made it to the new bakery in town. It's very good, interesting!!!Owner, I think that's who he is, is very kind, wanting to please, but they do need a little work on seating procedure and how to get waited on, but I'll give'm a chance. Cause, I do think this will be a hit. Middle Eastern,I think, sweets, with and array of egg pastries that are amazing!! Coffee was outstanding!!! Better hurry in before you can't get in, it's that good. Better add some tables Mr Owner!! Sorry Dunkin

We had a wonderful visit at Velvet Oven Bakery. We loved the fruit crepe, biscoff gelato and cortado. The staff was super welcoming. We will definitely be back soon. The pastries are delicious and beautiful. The artistry is simply amazing. The price point was so reasonable - gelato 3.50$ cortado $4 and crepe 12.99$.

Wanted to check out This new bakery. When we arrived they looked pretty slow. It took them awhile to take our order. One worker was sitting down on her phone and the other worker looked like a manager. It seemed to have been one person taking orders and making the orders. Which can be the cause to longer wait times. When we were asked what can I get for you I asked if they have decafe and they mentioned that they don't. They had a lot of smoothie options, matcha options, and lattes. They have a beautiful display of their menu. A lot of pastries and the viral fruit, their version is with cake and not mouse. They had about 5 different savory items and waffles too. This is definitely an after breakfast spot or when you want a sweet treat ! I ordered the croissant with berries and it was tasty, sweet and full of fruit and a cream in the middle. My friend ordered the mango matcha. She said it was grainy but it was tasty.

The staff have always been lovely, but honestly, it's the sweets and brunch that keep me coming back! They always have seasonal treats and cakes rotating throughout the year, so there's usually something different to try each time. Their cookies are almost too pretty to eat because they're individually piped by hand, which is seriously impressive. They are definitely on the sweeter side, so don't expect a subtle sugar cookie, but they're perfect when you're in the mood to treat yourself. My personal recommendation is the small button cookies. They're so cute, creamy, and pair really well with their teas, especially since the tea helps balance out the sweetness. The sugar cookies have more of a firm, stiff texture, so I personally prefer the button cookies. Their brunch is delicious too, although the wait can be a little longer at times. If you want the full tea-room experience, I highly recommend making a reservation since that's usually where you'll get the multi-tiered tray filled with an assortment of sweets and savory mini sandwiches. It's definitely more of an experience than just grabbing a quick bite. The cafe itself is adorable and has cute decorations throughout, with a separate back area dedicated to takeout sweets. It makes the whole place feel like a little dessert wonderland, especially when they have their seasonal decorations up. Overall, this is definitely somewhere I'd recommend trying at least once. Whether you're coming for brunch, afternoon tea, seasonal sweets, or just looking for a cute spot to catch up with the girls, there's always something fun to eat--and something new to discover on your next visit!

It is loaded with pecans, sticky in the best way, and easily one of the best in the city. When they're on, they're really on. One thing I noticed was that the setup could use a little refinement. With both coffee and bakery items coming from the same counter, the line gets congested fast and the shop is quite small. A separate line for coffee and tea offerings - they have a bunch - and pastries would make the experience smoother and match the quality of what they're serving. They do offer vegan options, which I personally have no interest in, but just an fyi. Overall, they deliver excellent pastries and has the potential to be even better with a few small tweaks to the flow and menu variety. Still absolutely worth a visit, especially for that croissant and pecan roll.
