I am so pleased with everything that I got this morning from this Bakery. I was looking for a bakery to grab some goods for my coworkers and they loved all of them. The workers were very nice in the owner apologized for the selection being so "limited " but I thought it was more than enough. The pastries range from $2/3 and up. Probably my favorite bakery in Cincinnati. I do wish they had a wider selection of breads, but their limited selection is always a hit. Their Kougin Amann is probably my favorite when they have it, and the monkey bread is always a hit with guests and their kids. I love this bakery!! This is my go-to place during the holidays when I want to bring something to a get-together. My favorites are the kouign amann which is like and croissant and sticky bun mash-up. Yum!! I got a pumpkin muffin for the first time and it was fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. Grabbed a couple of their beautiful croissants as well! Great little place with authentic European bakery charm. I can't believe I've been driving right by for a year. A friend recommended it and I'm so glad to know it is there now! The pricing for Cincinnati is fair. Top quality pastries for $3-4. For breakfast I tried the chocolate croissant. More chocolate in it than many other places. For lunch I had the ham and cheese croissant and I was blown away. The cheese was so delicious and perfect texture. Stopped here on a whim after finishing up some Christmas shopping at the mall. Listen to me when I say this place smells like butter and love. Given it was noon, I didn't expect they'd have much left and was right, but I didn't need much. I picked up a couple of croissants and some little sweet croissant thing. The lil thing was amazing. Buttery. Flaky. Sweet. Crunchy. Fluffy. We used the croissants at dinner to make some sandwiches and chose to warm the I'm the air fryer (325 on air crisp for about 6 minutes), and they were super tasty. (Made with turkey deli meat, thinly sliced havarti, and a butter/dijon mustard sauce). I will definitely stop back in the next time I'm in the area. read more

Best to come early in the day for the best selection, but you can't go wrong with anything here. Love the queen Aman so much, it's sweet, salty, and flaky...it's a must have! This bakery is so good that we drove miles away before they opened this one here in Cincinnati. The Kouign amann pastry is the best!! You cannot get it very many places. As a coconut lover, they macaroons are my favorite from anyplace. They use dessicated coconut which gives it that really coconut punch. It's truly hard to decide which thing to try because they all look so tempting. Coffee for coffee lovers too. I'm not sure that I've been there without getting a sample of something. This place is tucked away on the opposite side of kenwood mall next to altafiber. The owner was so nice, he explained everything that he put in the bag to me as well as about his baking process and the type of butter he uses. I came in for a Too Good To Go bag - it cost me $4.99 and I receieved 2 ham & cheese croissants which were AMAZING!, a cheese danish, half a blueberry muffin, a butter croissant, and a chocolate croissant. Very confused by all the praise this bakery has gotten. I have friends who would drive to Dayton just to get pastries from the original location, so I figured it had to be incredible. I went out of my way to stop here on my way somewhere else and grabbed a few pastries to try. Overall, super disappointing. The space itself is tiny - it has a couple tiny tables and a small selection of pastries and that's about it. They also market it as a coffee shop but I would definitely not come here for coffee if that's what I wanted. The only reason I can see this place being successful is because it's a couple doors down from where a Busken Bakery used to be, so it would be an easy swap for the locals to grab some quick pastries. I tried the infamous kouign-amman and have to say it's a glorified croissant (although sweeter) in a round shape. It was ok, nothing special. I also had a chocolate croissant, cherry hand pie, coconut macaroon and morning bun. The chocolate croissant was again, pretty average. Honestly Trader Joe's are better The macaroon was good. The cherry pie was decent - I liked the filling more than anything else, and I didn't get to try the morning bun before my husband ate it but he told me it was mediocre and couldn't taste the orange flavor. Overall, I would not come back again. There are many far better bakeries in Cincinnati I would recommend prior to this one (like Mochiko or Brown Bear). read more
