The staff were uninterested in customer service. The floor plan was open and I loved how they displayed all the baked items. The coffee was great like it should be but the food left a lot to be desired. The pizza flatbread was probably the worst thing I've eaten in a while , and the sausage croissant was burnt. The strawberry pasty was tasty but dry . I would come back for the coffee but go elsewhere for food. read more

Oh my gosh, I wanted one of everything! I limited myself to 3 items and went with a blueberry fruit bite, a palmier, and a chocolate supreme croissant. The palmier was my absolute favorite. It was so flaky, crispy, and sweet. My brother tried the peanut crumb bread and the curry croquette. He loved the croquette and thought the peanut bread was just ok. My mom had the twisted donut and enjoyed it as well. There was a long line when we arrived on a Monday around 9 am. But the line moved fast and we had so many pretty pastries to look at to keep us entertained. Being a first-timer, I didn't realize it just gets better as you go along and I missed out on a gorgeous berry tart and a delicious-looking chicken sandwich since my tray was already so full. I pray they don't build one closer to my house in Indianapolis, but if they did I guess I'd just have to suck it up and go all the time. There were only a few tables inside so we just got them to go to enjoy at home since it was so busy. The staff were friendly and kept up with the business well. read more

I was super excited to find that Paris baguette is in downtown Cincinnati as it is one of my favorite Asian chains. Sad to say that we love pretty disappointed there were tons of sweet pastries, but barely any things savory unlike the other locations in other cities. I was also disappointed that did not have real Matcha. Their powder is a pre-sweetened mix. The staff were nice and tried to make a drink that a little bit less sweet by using less powder, but it was still VERY sweet. unfortunately, I had to throw it away. We ended up getting two savory croissants that were just OK, pretty dry. On a positive note Paris baguette has one of my favorite cakes so I highly recommend getting that. read more

My go to bakery when I am in need of some sugar! My usual order is the raspberry and almond croissant, pure heaven! Don't skip coffee, though. Every Lavazza hot or iced special coffee is worth trying. They are always coming up with special limited edition products, so you always have the opportunity of trying something new. This spot is so quiet even for remote workers, it is so cozy that the ambiance makes this place the perfect spot downtown for a break! read more

I've heard of Paris Baguette before, as it's a chain with a lot of locations, including one in Columbus where I'm from. I've never visited until this one happened to be right next to a hotel I was staying at while in Cincy. I strolled over around 9:30am and was quite surprised at how empty it was. While it's known for being a bakery, it doubles as a coffee shop, so I assumed other people would be there to work like I was planning on doing before heading on the road back home. On the upside, all the pastry cases were fully stocked. I did however have to track someone down for a tray and tongs. For those that don't know, you don't go up to the counter to order pastries. Instead, you use the tongs to grab what you want directly from the case onto your tray. Then once you're ready to check out or order other things like a coffee, you head to checkout. I grabbed a strawberry mochi donut, a chocolate supreme croissant, and a raspberry almond croissant. I also ordered a lavender latte with oatmilk. This all came to about $25. After paying, I grabbed the wifi info and a seat and got to work. I decided to enjoy my mochi donut with my coffee while I was there and I saved the others for a snack while on the road. My coffee was great and the donut was flavorful and just the right texture. The wifi was strong and I was very comfortable and able to get fully immersed in my work while I was there. The bright natural light and calm atmosphere was nice. Throughout the rest of the day and the day after I munched on the other items and they were tasty. In a nutshell, beautiful pastries, a little expensive, but all in all a good experience. read more

We've visited Paris Baguette a few times and always enjoy our treats. The food is fresh, there's always plenty of seating, and the service is good. I love their coffee and haven't had a baked good that isn't perfect. The vibes aren't as warm and cozy as I might want for a coffee shop, but it's great for a quick breakfast or treat. read more

The sugar-dusted croissants are beautifully golden with crisp, flaky layers that look perfectly caramelized on the outside and tender on the inside. They feel indulgent without being heavy, especially when paired with the small cup of dipping sauce, which adds a rich, sweet contrast. The donut-style pastry topped with pretzels is both playful and satisfying--soft and fluffy inside, with a sweet glaze balanced by the salty crunch of pretzel pieces. It's a clever mix of textures and flavors that feels comforting but still a little elevated. If you're looking for a bakery that consistently delivers visually appealing pastries that taste as good as they look, Paris Baguette is a reliable and enjoyable choice. read more

Love, love, love this place. I swear it's a portal to a French bakery in Indy, except with even more temptation. The moment we walked in, my eyeballs did cartwheels. There are pastries, sandwiches, and drinks. Honestly, I lost count of how many times I circled those glass cases. Five? Seven? Who knows, I was in a trance. You grab a tray, you grab some tongs, or maybe you get creative and grab the tongs first, then the tray. It's really choose your own adventure at this point. Then you go wild picking treats like you're a contestant in a pastry game show. I was so overwhelmed, I had to stage an intervention for myself. Only two! I picked the Salted Caramel Pretzel croissant crisp. Listen, the bottom of this thing was so light and flaky, I swear it floated into my mouth. The flavor? Perfectly sweet, perfectly salty, and absolutely deserving of a recurring role in my life. The second pastry? No idea what it was called, but it was basically a party in my mouth, crisp edges, apple filling, and a center so good I almost burst into song. Still mad I didn't grab a second one. Honestly, I needed someone to witness how good it was or maybe just to remind me to buy another. The grand finale: a salted caramel matcha. I had to fight the urge to pour a little into everyone's cup nearby and start a random act of caffeinated kindness. Next time I'm in Cincy, I'm making this place a regular stop. They're going to get tired of my face, but I'm not even sorry. Until next time, pastry paradise! read more

Oh dear lord - this was amazing! I was in town at a hotel nearby for a conference and wanted something light for breakfast -- I hate paying for breakfast buffets where I get a tea and a pastry because that's about all I can handle in the morning and then pay $20 for it. So Yelp steered me here and it was GLORIOUS! Fabulous selection of pastries and treats - all that you can purchase at individualized prices. The set up is kind of cafeteria style - you get a tray and tongs and pick the items you want, then take them to the counter to check out. I took a classic selection of pan au chocolate, cheese danish, a sugar donut, a blueberry pastry and a lemon pastry. Every single one was DELICIOUS. I went back for an extra bonus round right before I caught my plane back home. Worth it! If you're in this area, treat yourself! read more

1st time at Paris Baguette and wow what a selection!! Was nice to see they had lunch options as well ! Today I tried the Butter Pecan KING cream & was definitely FULL of butter pecan cream & it was delicious! Also had the Blueberry fruit bite. I thought the fruit bite was cream filled, but it was not. It only had a little bit of cream on the top to hold blueberries on, not enough cream for me. I would definitely fill it with cream as there is too much pastry and you need that good pastry/cream/fruit ratio if you're picking up what I'm putting down. Cant wait to try more items next time I am downtown !! read more

I'm by no means a pastry expert, but all 4 pastries we got were mostly misses. We came here on a weekend and there was no line which was nice. You get your own tray and tongs and pick out whatever pastries you want. We got a crab croquette, hash brown bread, pastel de nata, and blueberry and cream pastry. The savory pastries were cold and relatively mushy. The sweet ones were better, but still not a great consistency. The pastel de nata was the best of all of them. Honestly the vibe I got inside was kind of like an airport pastry shop. There's plenty of seating at the very least. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back. read more

My lady was getting her hair done next door and I decided to stop by here for some coffee and a quick bite. I hadn't been before but I'd been tempted to check it out a few times so I finally did. I'm definitely glad I did because it was so good. They have SO much to choose from, especially French pastries all made in house. They also have lunch options, desserts, and of course a plethora of caffeinated and non-caffeinated tasty beverages. I'll admit that I took some time looking at everything before deciding on some mini cream cheese filled croissants topped with almonds and a large coffee (straight black, the only way I like my coffee). The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I could tell this place is a favorite because it was pretty busy aready at 9am on a Saturday. My mini croissants were delicious so light and flaky. I almost could've gotten more because they were so good! They truly hit the spot. I really wanna bring my lady here sometime because I know she'll love it too. read more

We get this place catered all the time at work! I LOVE the strawberry cream croissant.

Staying at a hotel nearby and wanted something sweet. The Paris Baguette is a beautiful coffee, pastry, bakery, sandwich shop with lots of options. It would be a great place to sit on a work call or meet friends for a quick breakfast or lunch. It's bright and clean. The pastry section is unique because you grab a tray and serve yourself out of the cabinets. There's fresh bread, doughnuts, classic French pastries. I chose the giant cinnamon stick doughnut and the raspberry puff pastry. When I got to the counter to pay I ordered a fruit tart (my favorite treat) from the employee who boxed it up individually in a cute box. The employee was pleasant and kind and wrapped up my items so they would make it back home to South Carolina. The cinnamon stick was more like a churro and very fried. Good taste, but not what I expected. The raspberry puff was very nice and light. The tart was FULL of berries which I really appreciate and the overall taste was very good, however the base of the tart was very thick. I'll definitely come back to try even more sweet treats and maybe a sandwich next time. read more

This place has mostly hits and few misses. I am slightly rounding up. The salmon with avocado on a croissant is delicious as well as most sweets. The coffee is excellent. The savory curry bun with veggie didn't have much curry flavor, but I did like the flakiness of the outside. On three contrary, the coffee croissant was a bit overwhelming with flavor. Also with the crab n slaw on croissant, you can't much taste any crab, but it wasn't bad. There is a procedure for ordering, which I didn't know. The initial person helping me seemed a lil short with me and overwhelmed with online orders maybe. There was a nice gentleman to back her up though. I would like to return to try more items. read more

So, I visited Cincinnati due to a work trip and was staying at the Renaissance Hotel for about a week. Let me tell you, whenever I passed Paris Baguette, I HAD to go inside. Whether the bakery was empty or overcrowded with a line, I was there! My favorites from this bakery for fellow carb enthusiasts are the following: 1. Jalapeno Cheddar - this is bomb.com, and it's got a cheesy center!!!!! 2. Twisted Donut - the traditional and original Korean donut 3. The hashbrown pastry - this probably would taste better warmed up, but I don't know since I was always in a rush. Generally, the service was pretty swift and the place was clean as well! If you can walk an extra block to avoid Starbucks and get some high-quality coffee and pastries, get to Paris Baguette! It'll become your new go-to breakfast/brunch spot! read more

Paris Baguette - Enjoying my pastry - Bakeries Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

While we were staying at our downtown hotel my wife asked, "Can you pick up breakfast from that Asian bakery down the street?" "What Asian bakery?" "Paris Baguette", she replied. "Whaaa?" So, yes, this global bakery/cafe chain actually started in South Korea. I'd never been in one and was excited to see the wide variety of freshly-baked pastries. From French (croissants) to American (donuts) to yes, Asian (rice and mochi donuts, red bean bread), sweet, savory (sausage rolls, croquettes) and in-between (multiple breads), there were probably 30 different baked items to choose from. Most include signs saying when they were made and when they'd be removed. Honestly, we enjoyed the pastries so much that I returned there each of the three mornings we stayed in Cincinnati. The selection varied each day. Evidently, this is also a cake and sandwich shop as well. I never made it that far. The place was very clean (I've read reviews saying this wasn't always the case after they opened last year but they seem to have solved that issue) and service was friendly (one of the bakers actually apologized to me for what he said were some slightly over-done croissants, I personally couldn't tell the difference). Definitely worth the stop! A possible word of caution. I've learned that Paris Baguette is in the process of expanding significantly across the US. Also, the regional CEO says he wishes to focus more on their lunch and sandwiches. I hope neither of these plans impact the quality and variety of their bakery offerings in the future. read more

I definitely would like to update my previous review. Even though things seemed a little bit out of shape earlier this year, they seem to have come around. I've been here at least once a week for the last few weeks and it has very much improved! It's clean, the staff are friendly, things seemed organized, and even though it can be a little bit slow at times, things are moving along. I understand though as sometimes it can get very busy and it's really hard to move people through when there are drinks being made, sandwiches being heated, items being boxed up, I understand it's a lot. Definitely a big improvement over earlier this year! Staff is friendly and my fiance and I are kind of just enjoying coming in every week. We are just so enjoying all the pastries they have. We really do have to limit ourselves. We've also been enjoying their coffee drinks as of late. The salted caramel cold brew with sweet foam is amazing but a little bit pricey. However we can't help but get one every single time! Hopefully things continue on the upward trend here. read more

Very mid pastry shop! I'm a lover of all flaky pastries and this was a 6/10 for me. The blueberry/cream cheese pastry barely had any filling, same for the apple pastry. The vibe and atmosphere in this cafe is elegant and elevated. The veggie goat cheese pizzetta was delicious. It was a delightful surprise and a beautiful blend between a pizza and a pastry. The tangy goat cheese added a nice punch and the veggies brought an aspect of freshness. The feuillete au chocolat was very yummy! It was the perfect amount of chocolate and flakiness. The pain ah chocolat was perfection. I would definitely order this again. Everything was super delicious besides the smoked sausage bread. The idea and concept was there but personally not a fan. I'm a pastry fanatic and this may be the best bakery that I've ever been to! You walk into a very well lit, vibrant shop loaded with colorful parties. The gorgeous cakes are behind the counter, but everything else is in self-serve pastry cases. Grab yourself a tray and tongs and explore a wide array of options! I bet they have over 20 different types of pastries to choose from. My eyes locked on a strawberry stuff croissant. It was absolutely heavenly. The filling wasn't overly sweet. The strawberries were fresh and the pastry was flaky. I also got a sugar mochi donut. It was perfect! Lastly, I settled on the pain a chocolat. Oh, it was worth every bite! The staff was friendly. They did an excellent job at packaging the pastries. I personally think the prices were reasonable for the quality! I'll admit, I stopped here twice in two days it's that good! read more

We came here every day of our stay in downtown Cinci. It was right across the street from our hotel, and it was so convenient and tasty. The only bad choice here was the chocolate chip cookie, which was too sweet and artificial tasting. But everything else was great! Over the 3 days we stayed at the Hilton, we tried the following things at Paris Baguette: the ham and cheese baguette, the pain au chocolat, a raspberry tartlet, a fruit cup, a cronut with lemon cream, a lemon cream cake, a strawberry cream cake, a chocolate cream and berry cake, a brownie, and the previously mentioned chocolate chip cookie. I also had a coffee every day, and it was always solid. Prices were very reasonable, and the pastries were generally pretty good. read more

My parking garage was full and I had to park somewhere else... the walk took me past Paris Baguette, a place I didn't previously know about. Located at the corner of 4th and Race, this is very walkable from anywhere near Fountain Square. A relatively new build, the interior carries off the charm of a Parisian bakery. Plenty of table/bar seating and most of the food is on display. I picked up an egg salad sandwich, chips and a iced black tea for lunch. The sandwich came with fresh cucumber slices which was unique and tasty. I really enjoyed my quick lunch and could easily see this as a regular hangout for breakfast/lunch or coffee dates.
