While the space itself isn't large, they had an impressive selection of cookies, cakes, and cheesecakes for a Wednesday afternoon--plenty to tempt you the moment you walk in. I went straight for the bourbon caramel swirl cheesecake, and that's when things got even better. The girl behind the counter casually mentioned they use Weller's bourbon . Even better? She proudly said she gets to eat whichever flavor she wants. I joked that sounded like a great perk--she laughed and revealed she's actually the daughter of the owners. Loved that little personal touch. My wife is more of a traditionalist and chose the original cheesecake with caramel swirl. She said it was incredibly creamy and very good. Mine was just as creamy, with a noticeable punch of bourbon flavor balanced perfectly by the caramel, and finished with a crispy, satisfying crust. Bottom line: definitely good, definitely delicious. This is the kind of place that makes you plan your next visit before you've even finished your slice. A child who rarely eats cake----- (Angela's cakes are her FAVORITE sweet)----- here she ate most of the special piece made for her--it was perfect (and pretty big)! People were asking if this was the same bakery as i used before and i was happy to say YES--SWEETLY WILD OF COURSE!
