The nicest ladies in the world work here. And the donuts are great too! As if that wasn't enough, there's a drive-thru window!

The cakes here are the best. They are not frozen and then frosted you can tell the bake the cakes to order. Some of the coloring went on the side and I wasn't a fan of that but it tasted great and no one else really cared lol

You are encouraged to order ahead online (which must be done by 9am Sundays for the Wed pickup). They do have some stuff for onsite purchase, but it is first come first serve! My favorite Blue Oven product has always been the English Muffin. Second to that is any croissant they make. Recently I tried the almond croissant and coconut croissant which is now my #1 flavor. They are huge, flaky, buttery, and have yumminess in the center! I finally got to try one of their scones, which has now ruined me for any other scones... spinach cheddar, wow. Finally my newest favorite item is their Spinach Kale pesto bread with cheese. I look forward to Wednesdays just for this bread! Don't forget the Italian hub cap which is huge and a bread staple! I like it with an olive oil dip or garlic butter! Beyond their goodies, for the mini market they have teamed up with Roothouse Aquaponics to provide greens, and Old Dutch Farm to provide meat, poultry, eggs, and maple syrup! All the businesses accept card (some for a small fee) or cash. They all also take pre-orders on their websites! Beyond this location, you can find Blue Oven goodies at such places as Jungle Jims, ETC produce, and more! Check their website for details!

Bumping this down one star for a very unfortunate reason:…read more I woke up this morning craving some of the delicious bread I bought Saturday, only to discover that my Froagies already had mold on them. I don't expect natural, homemade food to last forever, but I do expect it to stay fresh for longer than two days. Last week, I purchased Froagies as well, and they became moldy four days later. When fresh, the Froagies are delightful, but I certainly can't eat an entire package before it goes bad. Splurging on $6.00 bread that ends up in the trash bin makes me cringe. Perhaps these need to be packaged differently? Perhaps smaller portions need to be offered? The other bread I purchased in big, round loaves is still fresh and going strong. As much as I loved those Froagies, sadly, I won't be buying any more.

While the space itself isn't large, they had an impressive selection of cookies, cakes, and cheesecakes for a Wednesday afternoon--plenty to tempt you the moment you walk in. I went straight for the bourbon caramel swirl cheesecake, and that's when things got even better. The girl behind the counter casually mentioned they use Weller's bourbon . Even better? She proudly said she gets to eat whichever flavor she wants. I joked that sounded like a great perk--she laughed and revealed she's actually the daughter of the owners. Loved that little personal touch. My wife is more of a traditionalist and chose the original cheesecake with caramel swirl. She said it was incredibly creamy and very good. Mine was just as creamy, with a noticeable punch of bourbon flavor balanced perfectly by the caramel, and finished with a crispy, satisfying crust. Bottom line: definitely good, definitely delicious. This is the kind of place that makes you plan your next visit before you've even finished your slice. I would absolutely return for another piece (or two) Unfortunately, I ate my cheesecake but I snap a photo. I couldn't wait! lol!

I was leaning towards a 3 rating until I took a bite of this. Cookies: definitely taste homemade but not the best cookies I've had Brownie: reminds you of a boxed mix with all the gooey goodness in the entire center, I enjoyed this Cupcake: I already have a favorite cupcake place and these don't compare, they were decent Edible cookie dough: very tasty, I can only eat a little I would for sure stop back in if I'm the area. The cheesecake is an absolute must.

This included a ball toy at the request of my granddaughter who had a castle cake for her birthday made by Sweetly Wild--the ball was to be chocolate cake with white inside like a hostess cupcake---and it was wonderful...she skipped her favorite chicken fingers and mac/cheese meal and headed for her piece of cake! A child who rarely eats cake----- (Angela's cakes are her FAVORITE sweet)----- here she ate most of the special piece made for her--it was perfect (and pretty big)! THE ENTIRE CAKE WAS WONDERFUL...this one had chocolate, vanilla, carrot and lemon sections. People were asking if this was the same bakery as i used before and i was happy to say YES--SWEETLY WILD OF COURSE! My favorite for flavors, moist texture, and of course her ability to take my ideas and create such amazing works of art! Her kindness, ethics, honesty, fair prices, quality work, delivery that is prompt---perfection at every level. WE LOVE HER, RECOMMEND HER AND WILL BE BACK FOR MORE CAKE AND MORE ! THANK YOU!!
