Part bakery/mainly restaurant/occasional event space... It all works. We dined during the breakfast/lunch portion of the day. My wife went for breakfast with their version of an Eggs Benedict and goetta. Since I'm not a fan of either in general, it's not surprising that I didn't care for them. (But she seemed pleased.) I went for lunch, and I thought both my hot honey chicken wrap and haus potato casserole were great. The latter definitely gave mac and cheese vibes which is always a good thing. On the inside, they have a full bar and of course a display case of cakes and individual pastries to tempt you. It's really easy to see how this place could be used as a wedding venue, and a beautiful one at that. There's even space outside for outdoor dining or, say, a cocktail hour. One way or another, you're bound to leave happier than you entered.

This place is simply gorgeous! Simple decor and so spacious. Warm greetings at the host/hostess stand led us to prompt seating. The place smelled heavenly! I ordered a blueberry pancake and my daughter chose buttermilk. We each ordered the biscuit and gravy. She ordered an egg and I chose their house made goetta. For an "app", we ordered a few slices of ciabatta. First, the pancakes were tasty, nothing wow-ing. Just good old fashioned pancakes. The goetta --SO good!!! And the homemade biscuits were of perfect texture and moistness. The sausage gravy was very flavorful, however, the menu described it as creamy sausage gravy. It was so heavy with sausage, that the creamy part was lost. You couldn't really pour the gravy over the biscuit. Again, tasted good, just not the expectation for either of us. The ciabatta was delightful! I can't wait to go back and try more items. It is very family friendly. Oh, and they sell Wolf honey (local beekeeper) up front, along with candles. Well done! ;)

I would recommend Weiss to anyone. I'm thrilled that Emily has grown her business and added a restaurant- event space.

Well put together dining layout with a lot of space and great service. The food tastes like it's out of grandmothers kitchen. If I'm close, I'll never consider another restaurant for breakfast if I can go here. Treat yourself, it would be a "Weiss choice"

Holy cow! I went in with zero expectations, but was simply blown away. The brunch was SO DANG GOOD!!! I ordered a regular coffee that was fresh and strong. The Carnitas con Huevos are to die for! So much food that I couldn't finish it all. The Haus Potato Casserole is some of the best potato casserole that I've ever had in my life. My server was friendly and awesome. It was 5 stars all around!

Warrior burger. Best burger I've ever had. Wow. I wasn't expecting to say that. The service was great. (Party tonight so probably a little slower than usual). The restaurant is pleasant, clean, and unexpected.

First time at Weiss Baking Company. Sausage gravy with huge biscuit was excellent. The potatoes were cheesy and buttery - So tasty. My husband ordered the scrambled eggs and bacon a la cart. The eggs were plentiful and buttery. After reading the reviews, I was a little disappointed that the bakery cases only had a few leftover pastries in the case. Maybe we were there too early. Service was prompt. The dining area is spacious and would hold a large crowd. Definitely would be happy to try lunch sometime soon.

I've heard about Weiss from another friend and seen the reviews. I've been wanting to go here for the past 6 months and finally get to. The place is wonderful, bigger than I imagined, but cozy. It is on the side of busy road but as soon as you walked in it, you hear nothing but chatter, cling of utensils with plates. We came in on Friday night, the wait wasn't too long. But We ended up sitting at the bar. We were greeted within reasonable time. After that everything went really well. Austin took care of us, explain and recommend items. I ordered Poké Salmon bowl & my husband had the Warrior Burger with Haus Potato The food is amazing. We tried not to eat all of them since they have a whole glass case of dessert to die for. But they were too good, we ended up bringing a piece of apple pie and oreo cheesecake home. Overall, everything are excellent. Next, we will try brunch, which what they start first; and recommend this gem to everyone!!

My wife and I went here for brunch one week day. The atmosphere was cozy since it was right before Christmas. They had very nice holiday decorations up. My wife had the Stuffed French Toast and a side of Goetta, I had the Hangover Harry with a Pancake. Everything was delicious and the service was great. This place is a nice little gem in Goshen Ohio. We'll be back!

Holy cow. There are not a lot of restaurants in the area. I was traveling for work and hadn't eaten lunch or breakfast or anything all day long and at 4:15 I finally got a break and was able to run and grab some food. Thankfully, I ended up at Weiss. Holy smokes, although beautiful, it was empty. I was promptly seated and served. I ordered the chicken pot pie and it did NOT disappoint. It was $18 but easily three meals for me!

Great breakfast spot. Try the stuffed French toast! Omelettes were also spot on. Service friendly with great pacing.

This place is an experience! My bff lives in Florida and every time she comes in town she has to have dinner here at least once during her visit. The bite flight is a great starter. The salmon is amazing, gator bites, salads, sandwiches. Seriously, everything is absolutely delicious! And it's a BYOB place which is great. Seating inside and out. Service is always great. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough. You can thank me later!

Bite has been on my husband's list for awhile because he's all about local small businesses. Any who, here is what we ordered.. Blue crab smothered fries 7/10 - So I don't know if they used fresh blue crab or in a tin, but nonetheless this was fairly good. Quite an innovative plate I would say.. I didn't know what to expect, maybe something more like a poutine...? The flavor of the blue crab and shrimp were seasoned very nicely. My only two recommendation would be... 1) they should make their fries fresh in-house - I could tell these were frozen fries and then 2) I would have like to see the "smothered" cheese/sauce be thicker because it was quite watery. Chicken alla vodka 6/10 - The crispy chicken cutlet was very good! Probably the best part of the dish. As for the vodka sauce - I thought that this was just okay and possibly its just my taste preference. There was a heavy taste of possibly too much cream? Or maybe even sour cream? I can't put my finger on it.. I don't know if it's me (it probably is), but I tasted even a hint of mustard...? Anywho... this dish was okay, the chicken really saved it for me. I recommend that they should do grated pecorino vs slices only because the cheese would be even distributed throughout the dish. The vodka pasta tasted better the next day as a leftover because I put a ton of parmesan cheese. Blueberry maple salmon 9/10 - My husband ordered this dish and I would agree that this dish was the winner of the night. Another innovative dish for a quaint local establishment. The salmon had a real nice crisp, cooked perfectly to medium, and there was a really nice smokey taste to the salmon. Overall a good dining experience - definitely small recommendations on a couple of the things we ordered on execution, but nonetheless we'd come back here to support.

It was a small space but feels like a diner from an old movie. It was cozy and fun! I got the Tealside Slammer with scrambled eggs, potato cakes, and upgraded the standard pancake to a waffle with brown sugar butter. It's one of my favorite meals I've had this year. I've never had potato cakes before, so now I am on a mission to learn how to make them from home. The eggs were buttery and fluffy - I loved them. The sausage tasted just like how my grandma makes it. The waitress (who was super bubbly and friendly!) suggested I get the brown sugar butter with my waffle and she was so right. I've never had something like that, but there is no going wrong with brown sugar or butter - the combination of the two obviously is amazing! I can't wait to go back and try even more on the menu!

They serve breakfast all day. It's usually busy whenever I go for dinner around 5 or 6pm but service is quick. It might be hard to navigate and find a seat because it's a small place. The string lines are cute. They have music playing and Pixar movies on the TV. My favorite is the Sweet Brunch Sandwich. I also really like their biscuits and sausage gravy. Their home fries have the perfect amount of crispiness. I've tried other things on the menu and it's all been decent. Their flavored iced coffee was not great, though.
