    Chicken Hash

My daughter got her temps at the BMV across the street and we wandered over for brunch to celebrate. Generally my pescatarian kiddo is relegated to only the sweet dishes on a brunch menu, but Toast and Berry had plenty she could try! She was satisfied with her smoked salmon toast, while my Nola-raised husband thought the shrimp and grits special was terrific. I had the chicken hash and fell in love with the hash brown squares! Our server Aphton was excellent- friendly and proactive - and we loved our seat on the sunny patio. Will return!

Pros: Good healthy menu options Loved the fresh squeezed juices They have alcoholic drinks Loved the hash brown squares Can order and eat at the counter Cons: Place is on the small side and can fill up quickly Prices are a bit high Parking in the strip mall lot can fill up and be a challenge Pro tip: I loved their sandwich options - the Turkey avocado club on multigrain bread was delicious!

Food was great! The pancakes were awesome, but the sausage could've been cooked a little longer. The environment was great also. It was a nice small space that felt homey. Service was quick as well. The place began filling up as we ate, but the staff moved quickly as we ate

Food was delicious! The wait, even after getting added to the online waitlist was a bit frustrating. Overall though, great brunch place!

2nd visit - the food was delicious. We took my MIL out for her birthday breakfast. She devoured her blueberry pancakes. My husband hand the cinnamon apple French toast. He also enjoyed his breakfast. While I had the Benedict and pumpkin cinnamon latte. Yum! Service was well run and efficient. Toast & Berry has a laid back feel yet very youthful.

My husband had the cinnamon streusel pancakes with sausage and an egg. The pancakes were large enough he couldn't finish them. The center was hot but the cinnamon flavor was minimal. Our server was pleasant and the building was new and clean. We didn't know we needed to pay our server and headed to the front of the building to pay our bill. We were directed back to our table to pay.

Cute Little Farm house vibes Very busy on a early Saturday morning Highly Recommend joining the waitlist, saved us 45 min wait. Server Nick was really nice and attentive Drinks were nice and strong Mimosa trio was my favorite of the 2 Hash brown squares were the bomb! Burger was nice and juicy although i would liked it a bit more medium like i asked (too hungry to send it back lol) Added some red onion and pickle and it did the trick Fries were nice and crisp Lemon berry French toast were surprisingly good If ever in the Cincinnati area again I would come back and try different things

Stopped by Toast & Berry for brunch and were seated immediately--barside, not at a booth or table. No complaints, though. Service was excellent, and despite sitting at the bar, we never felt overlooked. The whole place has a clean, contemporary feel, and everyone--from staff to customers--seemed happy to be there. We were no exception. We ordered a turkey-avocado club, a chicken salad croissant, and a bowl of potato soup. Let's get this out of the way: the soup wasn't worth the price. Bland, uninspired, and completely forgettable. Fortunately, the sandwiches made up for it. The turkey-avocado club had that fresh, California-style balance--light but satisfying, and definitely worth ordering. The chicken salad croissant? Easily the standout. Whoever crafted that recipe understands flavor. Where some chicken salads fall flat, this one delivered. One thing that caught our attention was a contraption on the counter behind the servers--some kind of slow-brewing coffee gadget. People kept asking about it, and it became a bit of a conversation piece. Final verdict? We'd absolutely return, but we'd skip the soup. Toast & Berry does a great job with service, atmosphere, and sandwiches.

Caught up with a friend for lunch on Monday at Toast & Berry in Montgomery. They have quite the breakfast selection - toast, French toast, eggs, bowls and then lunch items - salads, sandwiches & burgers. My friend enjoyed the poached eggs & loved their toast. I asked the server for his recommendations & went with the chicken hash which hash brown squares, roasted chicken, smoked Gouda cheese sauce, green chilies, pimiento, sriracha aioli, scrambled egg& , green onions Our server was nice, but had half of the tables in the restaurant and their pos system went down while we were there & had to pay in cash. Interested in trying again

Blueberry lemon French toast and fruit oatmeal in the back

Had never heard of this place but checked it out with a friend. Apparently it was the place to be for brunch on a Monday! I'm not sure there were more than two or three tables left open when we sat. The menu looked great, I honestly would've had anything. I got the fruit oats and split the blueberry lemon French toast- had to try it because of the name of the restaurant :) The oatmeal was yummy and the French toast was as well, it was just very dense and I could've used a bit more lemon. I'd like to try something else on the menu next time. Because it was so packed there is definitely a hum of chatter present the entire time. The servers and other workers were very kind and helpful. The place is clean and trendy.

Toast and Berry never disappoints! You can join the virtual queue before arriving, making the wait super convenient. They also offer first-come, first-served bar seating. I tried the Southwest bowl, which was absolutely delicious, and couldn't resist something sweet--a single cinnamon streusel pancake on the side (love that you can order just one!). Plus, their mimosa flights are always a great choice.

My husband and I enjoy coming here! The food is fresh and the servers are great. They're efficient and cheery. I'm currently loving their Sweet Potato Hash. I sub chicken sausage for the pork, but they're also willing to make it veg only. It still is a bit noisy inside, but their service and food outweigh this. We will be regulars!

Went to Toast & Berry for the first time on a Sunday morning and it was bumpin! Fortunately, we found seats at the bar so the wait wasn't too long. The Salmon Benedict was really good and my wife enjoyed an all American breakfast. The pancakes was light and fluffy and the hash browns were really tasty. The rest of the menu looks good too so we are excited to go back.

But what I remember most of all is the food, particularly ducking into a little shop off a piazza somewhere to grab whatever I could buy and eat while we walked to our next sightseeing destination--a pastry, a slice of pizza, or a sandwich. At Alveo, I almost feel like I'm right back there. The restaurant is small and lively, not a place to linger exactly but a place where you can tell you'll be taken care of. Just as many patrons are ordering to go as they are to stay. And the sandwiches? Good enough to power many, many steps of sightseeing across cobblestones, or just get you through the afternoon at your home or office in Cincinnati. They've absolutely nailed the ingredients on every sandwich I've tried, with high-quality components selected specifically for how they go together. (Like those little sandwich shops in Europe, there are no substitutions here--unless you'd like gluten free bread.) The bread? Unreal how it can hold these constructions together while being soft and delicious. The meats? Perfection. The cheese? Incredible. That pistachio stuff? I see it in my dreams. The one area where Alveo definitely deviates from its European brethren is portion size--these sandwiches are huge! They come in a paper wrapper, inside a to-go box, and believe me, you will probably need it. Each time I've been to Alveo I've ended up eating about half the sandwich for lunch and the rest for dinner, maybe with a snack in between, and felt perfectly satisfied for the day. So, yes, the $20+ price tag might discourage you, but don't let it. It's a $20 investment in a very, very delicious day.
