My parents and I ordered 3 different omelets with arugula and cinnamon toast and we ate every last bite. The portions were perfect. I ordered a specialty coffee that was delicious and just slightly sweetened- which I loved; I don't like overly sugary drinks. My dad's regular coffee was so good that I bought some beans on the way out, which they ground for me. Pricing was high but not at all out of line with other brunch spots, especially when you consider the quality. We sat on the patio, which was situated on the side of the building, away from the direct sun. Very pleasant. We will definitely be back soon to try lunch. read more

Finally made it to Cafe Patachou at The District in Deerfield Township. It's definitely a little pricey, but they have a nice menu with a variety of brunch options. We tried the coconut cardamom latte, an omelette, croissant French toast, and the waffle grilled cheese. The latte was probably my favorite part and the waffle grilled cheese ended up being our favorite food-wise. The omelette and French toast were good too, just a little more simple than I expected and felt like something I could probably make at home. A cute brunch/lunch spot to try out if you're in Mason, OH. My friend and I both got their matcha latte with strawberry cold foam. I have to go back during the weekday, however, the ricotta waffle was very good. Our food took a very long time to come out and it came out separately. We sat as a party of three. Nonetheless good food service a little sketchy. Shown is the strawberry cold brew, it was good but I did have to sweeten it up a bit. They do not take reservations, so make sure you allow enough time to wait. What I had was worth the weight however they need to work on timing getting food out. I went to the Cafe Patachou private opening day with my family and we will immediately be back. My brother had been in Indianapolis and got on the list for opening day in Cincinnati. I had the chicken salad on a croissant which was delicious. I think the chicken salad had bacon in it. Tasted very high quality and it was my favorite thing out of what anyone ordered! The fries were also great. They are known for their cinnamon toast and it lived up to the hype. Our table also shared the lemon ricotta waffle. It was so soft and not overly lemony. Avocado toast needs some avocado, and it's side salad was a 2T serving! Coffee was good. My friend's hamburger had so little cheese you couldn't see it nor the tiny piece of lettuce. He was glad for, and happy with, the fries! For the price I expected more. I won't go back...better places are available. Server was very nice. Also not a fan of the 'Toast' checkout service. I was paying for another as well at the table, so she shows me what we ordered, stands there while I tip, goes in to get the receipt. My first experience with the Mason location went well. The ambiance is great- very bright, cool, cafe vibe. The service was consistent but a little slow. They were pretty busy. The food we chose was mixed. I didn't love the ricotta scrambled eggs with the bread... I would have preferred potatoes. My husband ordered the omelet which was good but small- it comes with arugula and potatoes are a $2 up charge. This seems like a nickel and dime thing for a breakfast place. If someone wants to sub bread and salad for potatoes... just let them for free. read more

Positives are the AMAZING food (and I hate breakfast). Service is always great. Negatives are the long wait times while looking at empty tables and no one sitting at the bar, which is NOT first come first serve. No one ever seems to be in any hurry to turn the tables faster. There appears to be more 2-toppers, but yet they seat two people at the larger tables that accommodate 3 to 4 people, which extends the waiting to longer than quoted for any parties of more than two. These have been our observations every time we have visited, except one Sunday when Matt happened to be managing. Concerns are someone is going to get sick from the pre-packed chicken/egg salads. They are delicious, but twice we have had to ask for new containers. Today we were given 4-day-old salads. Mayonnaise based products, like these, should not be kept over 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. Unless you were consuming the entire contents the same day, these items need to be freshly packed as they are ordered, as we buy them to consume over the following few days. Cafe Patachou sells their cakes and other items on Goldbelly, but once again long wait times. You need to plan about two months in advance of ordering a cake to have one delivered. read more

My sisters and I were really looking forward to visiting our new Cafe Patachou when they came into town. Both of them enjoyed the Indianapolis location several times but it was my first time here. We each decided to order entrees and then share with each other so we could try out several dishes at once. Everything was plated nicely when it finally came out. My omelet was supposedly 3 eggs according to the menu but there's no way it contained 3. I make 3 eggs for myself at home every day and they are far more substantial. Maybe mine are just bigger...It came to me cold so they took it and brought me another fairly quickly. Both tasted pretty bland and flavorless. The second one wasn't quite fully cooked inside and lacked much cheese at all. I didn't want to be *that* customer so just ate a few bites and set aside. My sisters did not like the taste of it either. I tried my sister's lemon ricotta waffles and wasn't blow away by those either. Barely any of the sauce on them and they were just disappointing to both of us. The winner of the day was my other sister, who ordered the yummy waffle grilled cheese and tomato soup. Both were flavorful and delicious! I also liked the sip of strawberry cold brew my sister ordered. Would get that again. Overall, the hospitality was good, restaurant clean, etc. But I would not specifically choose to eat here again in the near future. The food was pretty disappointing. read more

Oh my! We moved from the Indianapolis area and the thing we missed most has come to town...Cafe Patachou! Lucky enough to attend Opening Day and everything was on point, including the tomato artichoke soup! The menu might seem limited but the reason is so they can be great at everything on it! Service doesn't get rated on this review as everyone is new and learning but all folks were gracious, kind, and hard-working. Give the place some grace for now. I was not impressed with the sunset breakfast. The eggs and chicken sausage was very good but the two slices of bread with butter did not complement the platter. Fried potatoes or hashbrowns would be a nice addition. This offering was my second choice after the croissant French toast was not available at 1 PM. Our server was very kind and knowledgable and answered questions about any menu items we asked. I ordered a Diet Coke for $4 (which I thought was rather steep) but I was floored when she returned with a can of coke and a glass of ice. I ordered the BLT since the server said it was unique and I was intrigued by the description. The server asked what type of bread I wanted and I would have preferred sourdough but it would have been an extra $2 charge ( for bread are you kidding me). I chose a bread that came for free... I was very disappointed as I did not taste any of the flavors the menu described. My friend ordered a Cobb Salad which was so small we could not believe it is considered an entree. Not only was she disappointed in the portion the typical Cobb Salad items were very minimal. She literally searched through the salad to find a hint of hard boiled eggs- almost unseen. She did find a few pieces of small cubed chicken. Both of our meals were overly priced - a sandwich with chips =$18.00 Plus my $4 Diet Coke. We both left a 25% tip Because our server is not responsible for the restaurants poor choices. My advice- go to all the other restaurants nearby. Much better and definitely a better value! read more

My wife and I aren't from this part of town. However, we both agreed that THIS is our new favorite brunch spot. Stephanie greeted us graciously at the door which is always a good start. The self serve coffee bar was a welcomed surprise and seamlessly bridged the gap between arrival and service. Our server, Victoria maybe?, walked us through the menu and her favorites with the grace of a pro. Trained well for sure. We went with a chicken salad sandwich for the wife and a French omelet for myself filled with cheese, avocado, chorizo and other goodies I think. Oh My Gosh! DELICIOSO! So good that we forgot to take pictures. I had to ask who made my deliciously fluffy, juicy, umami-rich omlette and was told it was someone called Chef Jordan.
