BEST GLUTEN-FREE DONUTS!! I just had their gluten-free pumpkin donut and it was SO good!! I also grabbed some for my family, and they didn't even realize they were gluten-free -- that's how you know they're good! Everyone was so nice, and the shop itself is super cute and has such a cool vibe. I will definitely be back!! read more

The apple fritters are the star here and they're genuinely impressive in size. The flavor is good but could push further -- a little more apple throughout would take them from good to great. The Cookie Monster donut delivered. Fun, well executed, worth ordering. One gripe that's easy to fix -- bottled tea is a miss for a shop like this. Real brewed tea, would round out the drink menu in a way that matches the quality of the food. Worth the morning stop. A few tweaks and this place is knocking on five stars. read more

Hurts Donuts will hurt: your wallet, your belief in what a GF doughnut could be, and your body. First, the good. They taste amazing! I am not a big donut person, but the GF donuts DO NOT taste gluten free at all! They also taste fresh, just a step below having a warm, just made donut (which is the only way to have one IMO). The pumpkin drizzle (idk why drizzle, there was no drizzle on it) has a classic cider mill doughnut flavor. I would not describe it as pumpkin flavored. Now, the reasons why I'll never return. 1. The price! $4 for a single GF donut? That's bonkers! I was going to pay cash, but I couldn't even afford 1 donut with the cash I had on hand. 2. The toppings overwhelm/mask the flavor of the donut, which is a shame and a waste. The pumpkin caramel drizzle was overpowered by the caramel, and it was so sweet, that I couldn't consume the entire donut. That is saying something, given how much they cost! 3. Your gut/body will be in rebellion. IDK what the ingredients are in the GF donut, but I immediately bloated, and my body reacted as if I consumed a product with sugar alcohol (IYKYK). These ill effects lasted the rest of the day, and carried over to the next day. Flavor: 5 stars. Everything else...could be better. So, if you roll up to Hurts Donuts, win the lottery beforehand, go for the plain "drizzle" donuts, as they have the best flavor, and be prepared that your body (and wallet) may not thank you after. read more

So... I don't have any pictures because I ate my donut too fast, sorry I am a gluten free girlie and Wednesday is the day. Today I tried the pumpkin gluten free donut and I already know it's going to be a problem. How can anyone not like this place. There's donuts, coffee, ice cream, a swing?!! The staff were patient and kind to me asking 1000 questions too. I'm a fan. read more

Staff was super nice! Was fairly popping for a Saturday at 9:30am. Cute in there, plenty of seating. Donuts were great, I had the old-fashioned, plain glazed, Cookie Monster, and the red velvet cake donut with white icing on top! My boyfriend had the plain glazed, Homer (strawberry sprinkeld), and the raspberry filled donut. He said the raspberry filled tasted too artificial, so that's the only one we would not recommend! read more

I'm so glad I don't live close; I'd been in here all the time. Everything about it was 5*. We were overwhelmed with choosing donuts but the staff was so supportive and patient. The girls picked the Cookie Monster then went right to the swings to relax while we drooled and thought about what to get. I thought I'd eat half of mine and save the other half for later....ha! That didn't happen! An interesting milk choice was peanut butter chocolate. It's going home with us for later. The decor was so fun, even in the bathroom. Their logo is a band-aid on a donut. I highly recommend you support this place. read more

I found Hurts Donut last year and I've continued to enjoy their products. I love that they have gluten-free and dairy-free donuts. Very few places offer them and this is one thing I've missed. The maple bacon is probably my favorite now. Just the perfect mix of sweet and salty! Everyone is always nice when I'm there. The store is still fun and creative to hang out at. read more

What a great place! The atmosphere is really fun and bright and colorful. Very cool vibes ! For the donut selection, it was out of this world. You simply could not be disappointed with how many options they have. They have cake donuts and yeast donuts. The specialty donuts included an apple fritter that was the size of my head! Of course the flavor was spectacular and I would recommend the apple fritter and white cream long John! The staff were also very helpful and nice. There were several people working to serve, prepare and clean. Amazing little place! read more

This is such a neat place! My husband and I had to make a Costco run this morning and I told him I wanted a donut, so we decided to stop in at Hurt Donuts. I was in awe and overwhelmed at the same time. The first thing I saw were these giant pastries that need 2-4 people to eat. Yet they looked so amazing I almost wanted one for myself. When we told the employee it was our first time there, she explained to us that the next case was the cake donuts and the one on the other side of it was the yeast donuts. There were so many options! I really had a hard time choosing just 1 donut! In the end, my husband got a chocolate covered chocolate cake donut and I got the ET donut (a yeast donut with chocolate icing and Reese's Pieces on it). Hubs also got a coffee and I got a bottle of juice. They also have fountain sodas and ice cream. The decor inside of super cool! We were impressed by the brass knuckle coffee mugs. I told my husband that this needs to be part of our Costco trip routine - stopping at Hurts Donuts so we can try all the amazing different flavors, etc. read more

Wow! We decided to stop by after looking at other Yelp reviews. And we were not disappointed. They have a lot of choices and it was hard to decide. We ended up wanting to try some typical favorites and a couple special ones. We got the old fashioned, classic glazed, chocolate mint and red velvet with cream cheese. They were all great. The staff is very nice and put up with the extra time we needed to look at everything in the case. Inside is very cool. There is a counter where you sit in swings (bolted to the ground). Highly recommend. read more

This is not a vegan friendly store due to what they deepfry their donuts in but their coffees can be made with plant-based milk. The service is awesome and the workers are super sweet though! It was crazy to learn this donut shop is open 24 hours! We stopped in for some donuts and it was packed with a line out the door. The decor is playful and fun. They have many different kinds of donuts, yeast and cake. They have a giant cookie sandwich, which I feel like the picture of it does not do it justice of how big it really is. we were visiting Cincinnati and this place was close to our hotel. We stopped in at the end of our date night and holy donut, there were so many options!!!! We tried a cheesecake one and a blueberry flavor, soooo decadent. We ended up bringing the rest of our family back the next day because the donuts were so good. They also serve coffee and ice cream which makes for the best sweet treat time ever!! The inside is really cute too with murals and indoor swings. Hurts donuts is delicious all the donuts are fresh and flavorful I was in there for 30 minutes mostly just trying to find out what I wanted to try I got a glazed donut and vanilla long John the glazed donut was very good it almost melted in my mouth and was still warm when I got it. Finally!! A cafe that's open late (and they sell amazing donuts!) This place is open 24/7, so I was skeptical of how full and fresh things would be. We went around 9pm. We were the only customers so we did not have to wait, and they had an entire case full of fresh and delicious donuts. Classics, fun ones, cream filled, jelly filled, giant cinnamon rolls... My favorite is maple, so I had to try the maple bar (or long John, depending where you're from), and it did not disappoint. Fresh and flavorful, great size and value for money. I did learn that either half a donut or share one between people is probably the move to avoid sugar overload. They have nutrition information available on the website. The vibe is cool, lots of fun artwork and even some swing chairs inside. There is also outdoor seating when the weather is nice. My only critique is that they do not sell tea, only coffee drinks. I will have to remember to bring my own cup when I go next time. Loved my first visit, will return. read more

It's obvious that Hurts Donut Co. prioritizes and takes pride in the appearance of their donuts. The presentation was excellent, especially considering all of the different toppings for each donut. The employees were friendly, hardworking, and efficient. My family of four was pretty indecisive about which donuts to get, but the employees that helped us were extremely patient and kind. Loved the cute decor inside the restaurant! There's plenty of seating options if you're wanting to enjoy your treats right away. I also love the sprinkle wall on the exterior. This place has a fantastic donut selection of both yeast and cake donuts. Super fun flavors and toppings! I read some reviews that said their cake donuts were stale. I tried two cake donuts, The Brownie and The Chocolate Birthday Cake. I didn't think either of mine were stale at all. They were very moist and delicious! I also tried The Twix, which is a yeast donut, and it was extremely fresh, fluffy, and rich. They also have a nice coffee selection with lots of fun flavor options. I ordered a large Iced S'mores latte. It didn't have a super strong coffee flavor, but it was sweet and creamy. I also love how they use pebble ice for their cold drinks! My only complaint is that a dozen donuts and four coffees for $50 is a bit steep. However, the freshness of everything and the excellent service made the price worth it. As someone who was visiting this place from out of town, Hurts would be more of a special occasion treat for me if I lived near one or their locations. read more

I got the chocolate shake and it quickly was taken by my girl. It was delicious. For $10 you can pick any donut they have and blend it up into a shake. They add vanilla ice cream as a base and then top your milkshake with the donut you picked out! It's definitely a lot for $10, but so good. and by the end of it you might even regret the deliciousness you scarfed down. Because man It hit my stomach. The donut on top seals the deal though. The donut isn't fully blended so it add some nice texture to the shake. As for the fruity pebble shake, it was not as flavorful. Don't think it's a very popular one, pebbles tasted kinda stale. Flavor wasnt bad, just plain like the vanilla icecream with a slight hint of fruit. And not a refreshing freshly picked kinda fruit. read more

I love to visit places that live up to the hype and add Hurts donuts to that list! I know when it first opened they had long lines but I recently went at an off time and only had to wait for one other customer. The donuts are delicious and they also sell HUGE cinnamon rolls and other items. Add this to your donut, rotation, it's worth it!! Personally my favorite was the red velvet donut. How adorable is this place!?! The name drew me in and the selection kept me there! They have a comic book type theme and so many beautiful, unique donuts! There was a line but it went fast. They have enough employees and are on it! They also had good coffee and a huge cinnamon roll that my husband and I split.
