I've been wanting to try Blossim Donuts gor a long a long time. My guilty pleasure is donuts on Saturday morning. So this Saturday i made my way to montgomery to try Blossim Donuts To set the stage, when it comes to donuts i'm a traditionalist. I like a welcoming staff. Clean atmosphere. Strong black coffee. Good quality standard donuts. I don't like them too fancy or too expensive. No need for bacon or cereal. I don't need someone to reinvent the donut. It perfect how it is. Blossim hit all the feels! The staff was super friendly when i walked in to the store. I was greeted with a friendly hello when i approached the counter. The restaurant was clean with a ~ 4 tables if you want to enjoy inside. I got a blueberry cake donut and a chocolate custard donut (my do to). The blueberry was a little sweet but still delicious. The custard may have been the best custard i have ever had. Both donuts were very fresh. If you are into fancy donuts they had them too. They had a good assortment of both traditional donuts and fancy donuts. Cost wasn't so bad either. I thought for sure the prices would be outrageous in fancy-schmany montgomery, but i got two donuts and a chocolate milk (grabbed coffee at home) for under 7$. All donuts have gone up in price thats on par with the rest of the donut shops in town. Blossim wad a great experience. If you are in the area you should give them a try.

The Best Old Fashion

Donuts are a dime a dozen, most are good. The Nati has Holtmans, Buskens,Graters and about 15 others.. and then some. But this place located in Montgomery has the softest donuts ever. The old fashion donuts is the best I have ever had that is my go to for comparison from shop to shop. My advice just start at 6 am and hit them all and compare...LOL!! Lemon, Chocolate or just the regular Old Fashion.. will not disappoint!!

The cutest little downtown Montgomery donut shop! The owner is a young local gal and was so friendly when I visited. The donuts are delicious and the flavors align with the seasons. Esp as a basic white gorl...the fall donuts are to die for *cough cough, pumpkin spice*. They also have the cutest little food truck. Might just have to use them for a future party! Would highly recommend y'all.

Lots of tasty choices!

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about Blossim, so when I realized we were only about a block away, I knew we should stop in! Our impromptu visit was closer to closing than opening time, so they'd sold out of some varieties, but there was still a good selection to peruse. We eventually settled on a chocolate tiger square, an old fashioned sour cream cake, and an oreo dirt worm. All of the donuts were excellent and much enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and efficient getting us all set up with our donuts. They have a small, but cute little seating area available inside. A small parking lot is available out front. We'd love to try more flavors in the future.

Such a cute little new donut shop for the area. I especially love that they're not a chain and owned by a Cincinnatian. They have a classic variety of reliable flavors that they call their "dependables" like original glazed, Boston cream filled, Tiger Tails, apple fritters, and blueberry cake donuts. They then also have seasonal offerings to celebrate certain holidays, events, or seasons. You can even get custom donuts made for any personal event you may have. They started as a food truck, and luckily still have this too to bring donuts out to you if you want to book them.

Oh.my.goodness! So many great choices of doughnut options in a cute storefront shop right off of Montgomery Rd. near Toast & Berry, Kroger, BMV. My choices of Chocolate Tiger Square and cinnamon roll tasted absolutely perfect- especially the cinnamon roll! The sweetness and dough are on point! Sweet and speedy service!

Cute donut shop off Montgomery Rd right after the Carlo & Johnny sign. They have soooooo many yeast donuts to choose from and I was so excited to bring a dozen to work. I had the strawberry iced yeast which was perfect. I'm a huge strawberry fan so this was right up my alley. The donuts smell great and look great. I really wish I could sample them all but I just can't fit in another donut today haha. I will be back for sure. These donuts are fresh and made with legit ingredients. Swing on by to grab a donut and give them a try. P.S. I'm not a donut snob so take this review for what it's worth. My co-worker said it was good but she wouldn't go out of her way to get more. Also, she said the frosted donuts needed to have glaze on the bottom half of the donut. P.P.S. My husband said they taste like dunkin and that's not really a compliment in his book. He said they were just ok for him.

Blossom Donuts is the best! We ordered catering for my son's birthday, staff was friendly, they had our order ready early, the donuts were delicious, they were safe, which is hard for us because he has peanut and tree nut allergies. Thank you for making sure we had the best treats everyone loved them!!!

as my quest for the best burrito in Cincinnati continues I include my recent trip to the tacos…read morelocos food truck. Haven't heard read and seen all kinds of fantastic things I had high hopes for what they would deliver. Food up and ordered a steak burrito the Saturday before Father's day, they were running a Father's day special where you also got a free order of nachos with any order. I told them I wasn't a father and it wasn't even Father's day and they still wanted to give me free food. That's a definite plus to start! I also made a mistake when ordering my burrito and forgot to ask them to put the sour cream on the side, after I told them they said they already made it but would remake my burrito for me if I wanted, which is another big plus. Good quality customer service. so far things are looking pretty good for tacos locos, and whenever I got home the burrito look great. headset on the flat top and got in a little bit of crispiness, the cheese and probably melted all in there, they even pre-sliced it down the middle. I dug in... It wasn't amazing. It was definitely good, v steak was plentiful, and the cheese had definitely melted. However it was all kind of in with one corner of the burrito roll so it all melted into a clump. The beans inside were extremely rich, but also thin. I was absolutely happy with the purchase, and see it as a solid option. But not the best burrito in Cincinnati. Free nachos, by the way, were loaded up and solid as well.

Best tacos in Pleasant Ridge area. They're authentic tacos and the meat isn't chewy. For a midwest…read morecity the birria is awesome as well. Highly recommend al pastor.

Hello Kitty Cafe - Macarons packaging.

Hello Kitty Cafe

(2 reviews)

The Hello Kitty Cafe truck returned for the second year to Kenwood Towne Center a few days ago…read more This was my first time visiting it. As a lifelong Hello Kitty fan, I was excited. Let's do a little history of the Hello Kitty Cafe truck and exactly where it comes from and why it exists, shall we? As of 2018, in Irvine, California, America got it's first Hello Kitty Cafe, The "Grand" Cafe at that. It's the first permanent one in America that wasn't a popup shop. The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is supposed to be a way to let people in the rest of the states enjoy a small part of The Hello Kitty Grand Cafe. There are two trucks and one does the East Coast, and the other the West. The Hello Kitty Grand Cafe has a tea room, a bar, and fine pastries. Note here; Tea, Espresso, Booze and Fine Pastries. None of these things are marketed towards children. None of these things are for children. The Hello Kitty Cafe is mostly for adults and their nostalgia. That being said, The Hello Kitty Truck isn't specifically for children. So it is mostly adults checking this truck out. Including my grown ass woman, 30-year-old self. Children can enjoy some things about the truck. I mean, it's Hello Kitty? It has cookies and one small Hello Kitty plush. But most parents aren't going to bring their child to stand in a line for hours, in the hot sun to buy their kid $16 french macarons. The main thing everyone should know when going to visit the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is that it is a truck, and has limited space. So that means it has limited supplies. Getting there early is a great idea if you want the good stuff before it runs out. The limited stuff is mostly just food/pastries. I got to the location around 8:30 AM knowing they were opening at 10:00 AM. I was probably around the fifteenth person in line at the time of arriving. People in front of me had chairs and were decked out in all their Hello Kitty clothing. They meant serious business. By the time 9:30 AM came around there was a line a tenth of a mile long behind me. They opened the truck ten minutes early and started taking the first two customers orders. I appreciated that they opened it early at all because it was starting to get hot outside. They had two people in the truck, two walk-up windows. The line moved pretty fast once they opened. Everything is pricey, but everything I got was really great quality. I ended up getting a really cute canvas tote bag for $30. How nice of a bag it is shocked me. It has three embordered macarons on it, and even a big pocket on the inside of it. I also got the 32oz Stainless Thermal Water bottle. Again, super impressed by the quality of it. So I have to state that I am super particular about my pastries and especially Macarons. I've even worked for a business that only sold Macarons. I had super low expectations getting these Macarons from this truck. Thinking that they were going to be stale from probably being frozen for weeks, just super gimmicky but cute, photo op type of food. These Macarons were SO good. I don't know how, but they weren't stale and didn't flake and break apart as soon as you pushed on them. Which is how you know the Macaron isn't old. I really loved that they stuck with traditional flavors of Macarons. They had Raspberry, Passion, Vanilla, Pistachio, and Chocolate. All the ingredients listed on the box. The only thing I didn't like about them was the little fondant Hello Kitty bows. But I just don't like fondant at all. I was also a fan of the packaging on all my items. The design of the packaging was super nice and sleek. Chic and cute. The design also adds to the quality of the stuff you're buying from the truck. They had a lot of other cute items. Food: Mini Cakes, Macarons, Mini Pies, Cookies and a Giant Chef Cookie. They also had a super cute bottle of water that was shaped like a bow. Other Merchandise: A tin lunch box with confetti popcorn in it, T-Shirts, Donut Pillow/Cushion, Hello Kitty Bow Glitter Headband, A Mug, Two different canvas tote bags, Hello Kitty plush stuffed animal. "Freebies", they gave me a free medium sized button with the Hello Kitty Cafe logo on it. Also, if you spend $25 on food from the truck you get a little pink plastic tote bag for free. The people running the truck were super nice and seemed equally as excited as everyone waiting in line which made the experience even more pleasant that they enjoy their jobs and what they're doing. If the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck comes back again next year, I'll definitely go check it out again. Would recommend for any Hello Kitty fan.

I think having cafe in the name is a bit misleading. Yes, they sell premade snacks like cookies,…read moretarts and petite cakes but this is not a food truck nor are there tables available to eat your snacks. There is a huge Hello Kitty following around the globe, I'm not included. The prices are high, mixed reviews on the taste and quality of the snacks. They also sell shirts, totes and plush toys. Something unique to do with your young kids, that isn't taking them to Disney. However, note you'll be surrounded by adult fanatics that visit year after year. Be prepare to wait at-least an hour for high priced pre-baked goods. However, good jokes and costumes from fanatics in line.
