Seriously Holtman's!?! You continue to shock my tastebuds with ALL the flavor more with each visit! I opted for a beautiful cream horn and a cannoli plus some fruit filled doughnuts. Yes they have their standard continued flavors plus the new creative concoctions. I don't know how they bake everything so perfectly and keep them looking so gorgeous all at the same time. The service is fast unless there are indecisive people in the line. Just a tip, come in the front door and go out the back onto the patio. Incredible donuts and desserts. Great hours and service. I'm not as much into the dessert eating as I used to be but I would recommend going to Holtman's, if you want to splurge. I've definitely tried the longjohns and cannolis and brownies and many donuts. So yummy and priced better than a recent cannoli I purchased from a specialty place in Covington. I'm pretty sure that there's some Holman locations where you can actually sit but mostly it's a takeout business. read more

donuts and danish are ok but the price is ridiculous. I was charged four dollars for one croissant donut, and it wasn't even a large one. I can get a whole box of croissants at Kroger or any grocer for about five bucks, and they are just as good, if not better. I will never return. read more

Having heard the reputation I felt the need to bring a dozen to doggie daycare! Was this an awesome way to show love and appreciation? The remodeled Loveland Holtmans is back open and it's gorgeous! While much of the new building is modern, they have kept some old fashion nods to tradition, including the original sign! I think there are still some finishing touches they plan to put on the inside and things look a bit different right now due to 2020 regulations. It looks like in the future they might have a back patio. Make sure to checkout the neat carved animals out there! Holtmans is a local staple for donuts. While they have some run of the mill varieties, where they really shine is their specialty donuts! My favorites are the Maple bacon donut and fruity pebbles donut. Even better is during normal times when they do weekly specials such as s'more or sweet potato casserole. Keep an eye on their social media for the return of these! I love this place. My husband and I created a donut board for our wedding reception and we were shopping for the donuts. The ladies at the Loveland shop invited us in for a tasting. They made it very easy and very fun to sit down and tries several different flavors ( which was so hard to choose from). We ended up with 6 dozen (12 different varieties). These gems were a BIG HIT!! Honestly the guess we're not willing to wait. Some started munching on them as appetizers. By the end of the ceremony there was not one donut left. I highly recommend this shop and that fantastic group of workers. You helped make our day very special. read more

I have lived in Loveland for nearly 2 years now and didn't know they had a Holtman's until tonight! My fiancé and I had a sweet craving and a delicious donut absolutely fills that. The people working there could not have been nicer and they had such an amazing selection even though we got there close to 7 PM. And they were truly divine. If you want the best yeast donut in Cincy - you need to go to Holtman's. They have all of the classic flavors you want and always have something fun and exciting that you won't find anywhere else. The interior is a beautiful, bright retro style and it is so cozy and intimate but has absolutely enough seating (including some outdoor seating as well!). From Goshen and been buying donuts for over 50 yrs. But since the remodel the quality has gone down. The offer more selection but less quality. Was there a few weeks ago and the ketel cooked were hard as a rock and yesterday the pecan danish was literally half the size and still same price. This is a top 5 must go to donut place in Greater Cincinnati! It's worth the price for gourmet donuts and raising your blood sugar on the variety. I'm a huge fan of the maple bacon donut; great mix of savory and sweet. I haven't had a donut there I didn't like. 5 stars easily. One of the best donuts I've tasted and here's why: the donuts were so fresh and moist and that was the highlight because nobody likes a dry stale donut. There was a decent selection by the time I arrived at around 2pm. Even though the building is small and there is no inside seating, there are picnic tables outside to eat on. I love that they have vegan doughnuts at all Holtman's locations now! This morning they had 5 different options to choose from! I had the regular cake glazed and glazed with sprinkles. Both were delicious! I cannot tell the difference between the vegan cake doughnuts and regular. This location doesn't have any seating inside. They do have picnic tables and a bench to eat outside. It's not as new and "fancy" as the West Chester location, which is where I usually go, but it's the same great doughnuts! Holtman's is my go-to doughnut shop! read more

HUGE FAN OF HOLTMANS!! If you are a Cincinnati local, you've definitely heard of Hortman's Donuts. My experience with this family owned restaurant goes way back, as we used to stop to get donuts after church each Sunday. These memories held a special place in my heart as I was younger, but as I am older now, I can really appreciate the tastiness of these delicious donuts. This location is located right off of State Route 28 in Milford. Technically, it is Loveland. It's not a far drive from downtown Loveland, but it is located close to Milford and in the Goshen/Milford school district. It used to be that you had to get to the donut shop in time for the donuts not to sell out, but I arrived late in the afternoon to scope out this donut shop, and I was pleasantly surprised at my huge selection of donuts. You can call ahead and get donuts set aside for you. We did this often with the donut holes, especially for parties or taking them to church. Love this family business, and I am pretty excited that they keep expanding to include more locations. This location is definitely a staple on the east side! read more

My family has bought donuts from Holtman's for years! It is a family owned business and they have a few other locations as well. It is an old school donut shop and they have a ton of different flavors to choose from! The donuts are so fluffy and absolutely delicious! The donuts are made fresh every morning and are a HUGE hit with the locals so don't be disappointed if they don't have a lot to choose from around mid to late afternoon on the weekends. The best anywhere are in West Chester. I never thought Stans would have competition, but they are really close.

Everytime I come here there is line and busy! You know what that means, their donuts are the bomb. I wanted to try the glazed donut. If I was going to try it, might as well get the classic. Very fresh and tastes so good. The glaze just melts in my mouth. Besides donuts, they sell cookies, pastries, etc. I like to get their coffee with my donut. I've tried other local donut shops and it does not compare to this one. It's pretty much the best in Cincinnati. I have not been to the new location downtown, but I will make sure to stop by. You're not checking Yelp out to decide if you should go to Holtman's. I know that and you know that. But I just wanted to say that their remodel was VERY well done. There is an insane amount of space right now and unfortunately, due to COVID, it can't be quite used yet (for seating)--it looks amazing. This is my favorite location of the 4 Cincy ones (I haven't checked Oakley out yet), but it's been awesome to see this business grow in the past decade. Really hoping this is the extent they are looking to grow though, there's just something different about a few locations vs. 10 even. My personal fave is the blueberry with cream cheese filling, but of all the donuts I've had from them, I've yet to have a bad one.
