We had no idea what to expect, besides the great ratings on Yelp - and the Yelpers did not steer us wrong! There were a pretty decent variety of donuts and danishes ready to eat, as well as coffees and other drinks on tap. We would've liked a bit more options in the way of seating, because while the vibes were pretty cool and unique, there wasn't a ton of room to sit down and relax. My husband got me hip to Jupiters because he used to live on this side of town. We've stopped in wherever we're around shopping in the area and I love trying out one of the seasonal specials. Well, when I was planning for a baby sprinkle I immediately thought donuts and my husband said we couldn't go anywhere but Jupiter. So I called in, placed a pretty large order, and was prepping to introduce all the guests who weren't already aware, that Jupiter was the plug! Later in the week, the mommy-to-be was ordered by her doctor to postpone the shower because she would need all the test she could get (little momma was coming early). So unfortunately I had to cancel my order, but since my family was so love, we only canceled a small part of the order...took one dozen to the expecting parents as a surprise and a treat...and of course we took a dozen home for ourselves! I'll add, I didn't see what I wanted on the menu when I was placing my order, but when I called and described what I was looking for the staff listened, offered ideas, and helped to come up with the final idea that we both loved. Instead of cancelling the order or asking for substitutes, they up charged me for donuts they wanted to give me. The substitutes were not even close to what I ordered. This is a cute, fun shop. Stopped by because it was another stop on the Donut Trail. There's little details of all things Harry Potter throughout which I was able to appreciate. It's definitely not your average donut shop and I appreciate the creativity. Make sure when you're ordering that you also look to the display case that's behind the counter, we almost missed it while ordering. The donut pictured is what my mom got, I believe it had a raspberry filling and it was delicious. I ordered the cronut (a croissant/donut mix), so think a glazed croissant. I also was not sure if they had anything besides coffee, so I asked if they could make a chai latte and the worker said that they could. However, once I got to my car I realized it definitely had coffee in it. Not sure if it was a regular latte, I don't drink coffee. The atmosphere was cozy and quaint, but not necessarily comfortable as it was a bit small and cramped. Regarding customer service, the employees were very nice but they seemed to have some difficulty identifying what donuts were in the case. Maybe some labels in the case would be helpful? That being said they had SO many unique donut flavors that i've never even heard of. We would've ordered and eaten more if they weren't donuts. I got a glazed twist and a vanilla cake donut with chocolate icing. The cake donut was a bit dry for my liking, but the twist made up for it as it wasn't overly sweet or doughy. First time in here and it was a busy little place. There are a lot of donuts, pastries, Pop-Tarts, croissants, and fritters to choose from. I chose a cream-filled horn and a chai tea. I thought the cream horn was very tasty and the chai tea was not the best I had I probably will not get it again. My mom had a fritter and a cup of coffee. She said it was good. I also had an issue with a Doordasher, and when I called they were super helpful and already working on a solution. Definitely one of, if not the best donut spots in the county. What do you get when a croissant swipes right to a donut? A GLAZED CRONUT YOU HAVE TO eat the Cronut. I only got two in my assorted half dozen but I'd easily buy a dozen of them. The glaze is all over like glaze is supposed to be - Jupiter is noon stingy with the glaze. I removed a star because there is no signage on the donut case. You have to literally ask what each donut is and if you love donuts and you're new in town, like me, this can be painstakingly slow and annoying for the line of Cronut junkies waiting for their turn. Please put signs in the case so I don't get trampled. Other than that - it's a cute little shop that reminds me of the inside of a boutique but for donuts. Clean. Quick service. Yet detailed service. Every human who comes in is given their opportunity to fill their box or bag with what is presented as the golden egg of donuts. Your mouth waters as they package each one with delicate measure. I tried Jupiter Donuts while on the Donut Trail. Saturday morning of Father's Day, my husband and I decided to take our DT list and go around with our daughter and try most of the shops listed. This was one of the stops on the Donut Trail. This ended up being our last official stop of the afternoon. The last place was closed so we didn't get to try them. Anyways, this shop was the cutest of them all. You could tell the owner put thought and effort into what her shop looked like and the vibe she wanted to give off to customers upon walking in. It was very nice. Also, the owner was very nice and welcoming. While on the trail we only got one donut per shop. It doesn't sound like a lot but go to 8 donut shops in one day and see how you feel at the end. Lol. We ordered a Glazed Donut with blue frosting and sprinkles from this location. From every location we tried something different. My favorite donut is a chocolate iced with sprinkles so the one we ordered was close enough. The donut was good and tasted homemade. It was fresh and I enjoyed the blue icing. The icing was vanilla flavored but it was still yummy. Overall, Jupiter was super cute and the donut we had was good. read more

I'm just shooting an updated review about this place because I still say it is one of the best places to get donuts in Cincinnati. We went there just to try out a couple of donuts and we saw their specials were a waffle donut and a banana split donut. We got those alongside a croissant donut. All three of these donuts were great! What made them special was that they had three syrups and powdered sugar that you could put on your waffle donut. Also, the Banana split had banana cream filled on one side, strawberry the other, and they topped the donut with whipped cream and nuts (I told them to hold the cherry). Such a cute coffee and donut shop. I ordered a chai latte Edith espresso before heading to Columbus. It was just what I needed. I can't remember what donuts I ordered, but they are in the top right of the display case and have a cream cheese filling in the triangle shaped one and blueberry and cream cheese in the longer one. I think it's a type of danish? They're a little more brown than the other donuts. So flaky and amazing, I haven't seen these anywhere else. read more

Unique flavors I have never seen in a donut or Danish. Lemon meringue pie was my favorite creative donut flavor. It was the perfect mashup. Even better than a slice of lemon meringue pie. Their donut made the perfect substitute for crust. The Jupiter donut was huge, and filled with fruit filling. It seemed to be swirled into the dough. Not sure how they did it, but it was impressive. This shop was by far our least favorite experience while out on the trail. The service was the most off-putting. There were a lot of employees who just simply didn't seem to know what they were doing. There wasn't a good flow through the line and paying was overly complicated by lack of competence on behalf of the cashier. The line created problems for ambiance, too. The little shop itself is actually quite cute inside. Seating is limited, but that's okay as most people were taking their donuts to go. And parking is ample. But the disfunction of the line made it cramped and awkward. The donuts themselves were just okay. We had had a lot of donuts that day (which is the absolute beauty of the donut trail!), and these were the least impressive. However, I'm not sure if it was just a one-off time because everyone else seems to rave about them! I wish we had had a glimmer of a better experience so we'd be more willing to try them again and find out! read more
