TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service...they just look at you like you're an alien, don't ask what you want...they just listen to your order and take your money (nonverbal) 5/10 donuts(WHEN FRESH!) half the time they're OLD if it wasn't for my kids loving the donuts here I would not support these money hungry, rude, arrogant assholes they don't greet you or greet back! Also have to ask for tissue paper and napkins for kind of expensive donuts!! I've been going here before they were here when it was Bees years ago thinking nothing of it (maybe it's early, maybe they're tired or having a bad day) NO! it's the same weird energy every time. Excellent donuts and excellent service at Daylight Donuts! Our son has a peanut and tree nut allergy so we have to be careful that food is not cross contaminated and ensure that there aren't any nuts in the donuts, filling or icing. The lady working there made sure that she got all of our donuts that were safe first and then she boxed up the peanut butter filled donuts separately for us. She had to go to the back to make the peanut butter filled so it seems like they keep these separated which is greatly appreciated for people with allergies! The long johns are amazing! The jelly filled donuts, Boston cream and peanut butter filled were so delicious! The glazed and icing with sprinkles were also a hit with our son! Stopped at Daylight donuts. I have visited multiple times in the past, but felt I needed to give them a shoutout during this stay-at-home time. The donuts are always fresh and tasty. The owner is sweet and is taking multiple precautions to avoid any unnecessary contact. Today's donuts were no exception. The Bismarck's were tasty and the custard filling amazing (sorry they were eaten to quickly to snag a photo). I have to say, I love donuts. They are not always the best for my attempted healthy body (don't laugh too hard). I came in here for the first time as I was hungry on the way to the airport. I got a sausage that was wrapped in bread (kind of a pigs in a blanket) and some French Crullers, and a couple cream filled donuts. Well to say I liked all of the above would be an understatement. I have been back like 4 times this last week just for the Sausages in a blanket. These are amazing. I even bought 6 and shared with friends. The French Crullers I need to come back really early to get them again. They were the best I have ever had, amazing. The cream filled donuts are not only huge, but very tasty. The last trip I got a Caramel Mocha espresso, although a wee sweet, the drink was oh so yummy. I haven't had anything yet that I would consider even good... Never been a huge fan a donuts..but if you are one..I would seriously consider checking out Daylight Donuts. The place is just plain cute..the owners are very personable and awesome..and the selection of cool and interesting donut concepts to try are pretty vast for such a small place. Their Lucky Charms Donut caught my eye. It looked soooo good (again, coming from a person that isn't huge into donuts). Let me tell you..it was as good as it looked. The combination of crème, cereal, and of course, those delicious Lucky Charms marshmallow morsels was just wonderful. Great concept for a donut and a near perfect execution of it. I have drove by this place and thought the sign looked interesting, but nothing more. I resorted to my favorite yelp app. I knew it would not lead me astray. I yelped donuts north of cincy and it brought me to Daylight donuts. Oh by golly, I'm glad it did. I was amazed by the array of donut combos. The smores donut was tasty, moist, and definitely a sugar rush. My daughter loved the cotton candy donut as well. The apple fritter had some strong flavor in it, in a good way. The spice flavor was very prominent. I also had the Boston cream donut and it had the right amount of cream inside and all throughout the donut. Perfection at its finest. All the donuts were very moist, delectable, and reasonably priced. The icing on the donut is that they even have a drive thru! If you are north of the Nati', stop here. I am upset. Her sign was on. Open! I went in and no donuts. She came from the back and said you want cinnamon rolls?? Yes I said. She went to back and brought me back a closed sack. I paid and went to the car. These are duds from the back room and I just paid almost $2 a piece! They are over cooked and dried out. Daylight Donuts is pretty good. I came here on a random Saturday right before they closed. Their donuts are good and the owner was super nice. I only wanted 3 donuts but she talked me into a dozen. We had a mix box of what was left. I believe they definitely have more but because I went right before they closed, of course there was not much left. Our box included Chocolate Donuts, Glazed Twist Donuts, Boston Creme Pie Donuts (or what seemed to be Boston Creme), Cinnamon Twist Donut, Chocolate Stuffed Donut, Strawberry Jam Stuffed Donut, and Chocolate/Plain Donut Glaze Twist. All of them were really good, soft and fluffy. There donuts had a good taste. My favorite would probably have to be the Chocolate Cake Donut. We got 6 donuts here Sunday afternoon, and we were not disappointed! They had a somewhat limited selection being in the afternoon. But, the Zebra donut was one of the best donuts we've had. Their donuts are very rich and flavorful! Someplace's the donuts are so light you can eat a whole box. Not here, we each had one and were full! However, if you go later in the day you have the luxury of customizing your donut pretty much any way you want it. I like to get there around 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon (looking for the afternoon sugar hit). Select a plain ole solid yeast donut and then go to work. I like it to be filled with their raspberry jelly, then glazed, then iced with white icing...WOWOWOWOWOWOW! It is sweet, but that's why we eat them, right? Grab a cup of coffee because you need to dilute the sugar rush. I love the people in the place too. Always smiling, never make you feel rushed, make suggestions, (that's how I got my first custom donut). You may want to pick up a cruller as well and their glazed sour dough donuts are great accompliments! The first time I went they offered me some samples through the drive thru. They not only sell donuts but coffee and smoothies of different varieties ( coconut, Taro, Honeydew, Green Tea, Peach, etc.) The staff are very friendly and quick! They are always bringing out fresh products. I especially love the atmosphere that the women brigs to the shop. I'm pretty sure she is one of the owners. She is always smiling and willing to start up a conversation with her customers. The last time I was at daylight donuts was probably 5 years ago. At that time, it was just the same standard donut shop, they tasted average at best. I had a friend who wanted to meet us at this location on a Saturday morning, and I thought to myself. . . ok. When I arrived, it wasn't busy, and I thought to myself, how are they still in business. My son, James, and I ordered our donuts. I got the maple bacon donut and he got a chocolate frosted donut. Needles to say, I was really surprised by how much better these donuts tasted. They put 2 whole strips of bacon on my donut and the donut had that nice little "snap" texture that I love. James finished his donut without hesitation. My friend arrived, he ordered his donuts, then we went a shot a video for our fantasy football page. (I know, nerdy, right? ) When we arrived back at Daylight Donuts, (after about a 20 minute drive) the place was hoppin', the line was out the door, and that. . . is how you are still in business. . . making a better donut than in years past and providing a nice little atmosphere with wonderful associates. Seriously the best donuts I have ever had! First of all, the donuts are all HUGE! The glaze flavor seems to have a bit more vanilla then what I am used to and that's a good thing! Everything is very fresh. My favorites are classic glaze, their chocolate and glaze twist, and cinnamon roll. They have several latte/espresso drink options that look delicious but I haven't tried them. I wish they had a dairy milk alternative for those of us who are sensitive to drinking an entire cup of milk. They have a drive thru for convenience. Prices are very reasonable. I think I found my new donut bakery & I'm not even that much of a donut eater, but they were that good!!! I have driven past Daylight Donuts for awhile & always said I wanted to stop in and try them but never had the chance until today. I wanted to surprise some volunteers at church with donuts before service & decided this was the time to give them a try. I called a few days in advance since I would be placing a slightly larger order of 3 dozen glazed donuts & 3 dozen glazed donut holes. They were very accommodating and had my order ready to go at the time I requested. The staff was very friendly & helpful, even asking if I needed to add to the order or coffee. The inside is quaint and has a few places to sit & eat, they also offer free wi-fi if you plan on staying awhile. I've talked so much about my experience but not enough on how good the donuts were! I'm not big on donuts but everyone who tried them kept saying how good they were. We didn't have a single donut left over by the end of service. My team kept asking where I got them & I think I'll have to treat them to more donuts in the future. I can't wait to try their other donut selections of the glazed donut was so delicious! read more

Great place to get your fatness on in the morning, they have biscuits and gravy as well as donuts. The coffee is usually good, oh and did I mention the MAPE BACON BAR! Yes they went and put pacing on a maple bar. The only way it could get any better is if they served it with Molson Canadian and a flannel shirt. Love this donut place! It's close to work and is a great place to stop and grab donuts. They even have a drive through, so I've found in a bit of rush I can get in and out quickly, whether I am going through the drive through or going in. They have drinks available, like chocolate/regular milk in bottles that you can grab on your way out, which makes it a complete one stop shop! They just don't have donuts too!
