Plus, if I want a drink from a previous month, they readily accommodate, even if it isn't on the listed menu for the current month! They also will add other flavorings upon request, even if that is not listed as a flavoring for that particular drink! I will start off by saying the ladies working were very nice and friendly. Other than that the coffee i ordered was a honey lavender latte. It was disgustingly sweet. I had my coffee remade with half of the sweetness, it was still disgustingly sweet. Then I proceeded to add a shot of espresso to the remade latte. It was still disgustingly sweet and tasted like sugar milk. I felt like I paid almost 7 dollars for a sweet milk. Highly disappointed. read more

Found this little gem in Fairfield. The staff was friendly, it was not too busy, they have a place where you can hang your business cards so it's an overall inviting atmosphere. The food menu looks small but everything is customizable with plenty of options to choose from. The coffee was fantastic. The burrito and croissant sandwich was delicious and I can't wait to go back to give lunch options a try as well. If you are boujee with your coffee, this is not the place for you. While the coffee is good, this is not a coffee shop that knows the difference between a cappuccino, a latte, and a flat white. In fact, when I asked for a flat white they said that the smallest size they do is 16 ounces... which I also think was weird considering they definitely had 12 ounce cups and I would have loved to have had something in that size. My friend and I stopped at the drive through of Fairfield Coffee on the way back to her house and I loved that all the seasonal coffees this month were inspired by ice cream flavors. Although the black raspberry was very tempting (my favorite ice cream from Graeters), I got the Amaretto Cherry Mocha and it did not disappoint. I was very impressed that it was just the right amount of sweetness as most coffee shops tend to over sweeten their drinks. The mediums come in a large cup so I would get a medium if you go! I went to this coffee place for the 3rd time. I will never go back. I ordered a latte. It was so hot I had to spit it out. My tongue was scalded. I'll spare the reader looking at it. What really burned me up was that the guy who acted like he owned the place said all the wrong things and none of the right. He said "Most people ask for it to be hotter." "It's set at 150. We even put an extra button to make sure it's hot enough." What he never said was "Gee! That's too bad. How can we make things ok?" "Can we get you something else?" "Can we make you a new one at a lower temp?" I have never spit anything out due to scalding. So it wasn't about my heat tolerance. Stopped by today. Loved it. My wife works nearby and they go here all the time. We both got iced Carmel sutra latte's. A little sweet, as they used a good amount of syrup. So it just required stirring more, but you could definitely taste the flavor. No burnt taste, that I've gotten at a few local coffee shops around. We had some work in the Fairfield area and were looking for some quick bite for lunch after a heavy breakfast and this coffee house had good reviews. However, after a visit, it didn't impress me as much. Food: We went for a Cafe Latte and Chai Tea Latte, to begin with, along with Apple Cinamon Raisin Muffin and Grilled Caprese Sandwich. Cafe Latte was disappointing - the milk to coffee ratio was highly skewed towards milk and the coffee taste was just missing. Chai Tea Latte was okay - it had the same problem of the ratio of tea to milk being skewed towards milk. However, they scored well in the muffin and sandwich. Muffin was great - warm, soft and delicious. Enjoyed every piece of it. The sandwich was good too. Bread was a bit over-grilled but was still edible. In my second trip, I went for Cafe Au Lait and, so stupid of me, I forgot to tell about "less milk". So, even after going for a dark roast, the coffee taste wasn't really coming out well. Ambiance: The ambiance is pretty good. There is a large leather sofa, cushion chairs and a fireplace on one side and there are contemporary style wooden chair-tables on the other side. The lighting was little less and unfortunately, the only source of natural light - the large glass window on the right of the entrance was largely blocked by the blinds and some winter toys. So, it is largely dependent on artificial lighting. Wall art was good, though. However, the overall ambiance could be more contemporary. Staff: The cafe was run by only two people and considering that they have a drive-through, it was definitely not adequate. And, among the lady and the young man, it was the lady who was handling the most of it since it appeared that the young man was still learning stuff. Perhaps, that's why you should expect some delay in service, just like in our case. Having said that, both of them were good and friendly. Overall, it's a good place for food but definitely not for coffee if they can't get Cafe Latte and Chai Tea Latte right. read more

This is your mom's coffee shop. Which is fine. I have no problem with that. Moms need a place to get coffee. I've been here a few times and it always seems to be ladies getting coffee, looking cozy with each other. It's an intimate space. I admit, I usually meet friends for coffee and feel I tend to be a little too loud for this particular spot. Other reviews mention people being too loud here. I am that person and it's easy to be that person here. The last time I was at Fairfield Coffee I had the BEST almond milk chai. It's a little spicy. But this was just incredible. The foam was thick and, dang. I recommend it. The women who work here are always very, very nice. There's nothing much for a dairy-free person to eat but the seating is pretty comfortable. I was here for a couple hours with a friend and didn't feel rushed which is a big plus in a coffee shop. read more

I love Fairfield Coffees monthly specials and also love that they have a drive through. All of the employees are very nice and the place and clean and homey. I could definitely see myself hanging out here and drinking a coffee while reading a book if that was something I was into... but as me, I like the quick service and like to walk around with my coffee. Their food and bakery items look great but I've yet to try either. Oh, btw, they have a great rewards program so sign up! Will stop by on Wednesday when I'm in the area. Hands down better than the over roasted Starbucks. Plenty of flavors to choose from, and the ladies are always coming up with new concoctions. My wife and I try to make it here on slow Sunday mornings to start the day. Only issue I have is when ordering a small latte, the syrup ratio is off. What a cute local coffee shop! I was visiting my aunt in Fairfield and wanted to find a coffee shop that was close to do some work. I looked on Yelp & there I found Kidd Coffee! When you pull up you might not be a believer because it's located in this small strip mall and the exterior isn't the best. However, go in and you'll be pleasantly surprised! The interior is so cute and cozy. There are warm colors on the walls, a seating area with a comfy couch & chairs and plenty of tables and chairs. The barista (Megan) who was there was great! I told her it was my first time and she was patient as I made my decision & she gave me some recommendations. I ended up getting a caramel & something else I can't remember latte. It was so tasty! I've been trying different local coffee shops and this one is very different. The second you walk in you can tell it's very homey-local feel. They even have a drive thru which I was not expecting. They've got a small lunch menu, which I assume is daily. I ended up getting a turtle dove latte, it's with butter rum and almond? That's what it said on their winter menu. I wanted to ask questions but the lady was very busy. There was only two people on staff. The latte is good. You can definitely taste the butter rum. It's kind of too sweet for something when our weather hasn't been very permitting to enjoy cold wintery flavors. Overall it is a nice place and I would come here and stay for hours to read, if my kindle was charged. There are couches and a fireplace. It's very welcoming.
