Cutesy lil coffee joint.... We had the caramel apple latte and pumpkin latte ... my caramel apple one had the best flavor and perfect sweetness. Will be back to try the pastries some day

Stopped in for quick coffee before heading back to my hometown. I always like to check out the house specialty or a seasonal beverage if available. They have a few seasonal drink offerings and I settled on the sea salt maple latte iced with oat milk. I must say it was yummy. In addition to the drink, my friend and I both tried the breakfast sandwich, as we were wooed by the smell of bacon when we first walked in lol. The service was also friendly with a pretty chill/cute environment. I'd visit again

Fable cafe is a gem! This quaint, cozy spot will definitely tempt your taste buds with an eclectic variety of coffees, pastries and sandwiches. Sadly I only had time for a latte, but I can say it was one of the best in recent memory. The flavor was bold yet smooth and satisfying. The dining area has an artsy, charming quality and the restroom was clean. Please stop in and see Brandie and she will happily take great care of you.

Spinach and Feta croissant and strawberry matcha latte

Croissant was good but not the best especially for the price. Strawberry matcha I wish was sweeter and had more strawberry flavor. Came in at 10:30 and they only had one croissant left and I wish they had more variety.

I came for the rose water pistachio waffles. They did not disappoint! They were light and floral,…read moreas I expected. They executed this wonderfully! Only thing is I wish they could make it gluten free. I got the Mira bowl in a kid size portion and had boiled eggs as an add on. Perfect portion! The bartender recommended the smaller size since I was getting waffles and I'm glad she made that suggestion. Lavender latte with oatmilk was light and delicate. Just what I was looking for. Nothing was too sweet and I enjoyed everything. The inside had a nice airy feel to it. They have a cute little kids corner filled with books and fun stuff for the little ones to stay busy while waiting on meals. They close at 3 so I recommend enjoying it for brunch/lunch!

Or you can be seated at a table in a large open dining area. Very community conscious with a ramp for wheelchair to get from main hostess area to the dining area. I was seated right away. Being visitor from VA Beach, I asked what's the recommended dish, the server suggested omelette. But I wasn't in the mood for omelette so I saw shakshuka. I tried their Green Goddess version that has spinach (instead of tomato sauce) and feta. The food is a solid 3. I also ordered the Dubai Chocolate latte. It was a 3 as you taste more the milk than the chocolate syrup. I also got their chocolate chip banana bread.

Incredible! After a rainy but successful trip to the season's last Hyde Park farmer market, we…read moredecided to check out one of the bakeries on my "want to try" list: Two Seven Two, in Clifton. I'm so glad we did! It was amazing. The shop is quite small and bustling on a Sunday morning. The baked goods are displayed mouthwateringly behind glass, nicely labeled. I do not think it would be possible to leave with just one item -- so many delicious-looking sweet and savory options, and so well crafted. We choose a pecan sticky bun (the last one in the case - ha! Sorry, people behind us, you didn't get to experience that caramelly flavor with the salt flake zings!), a s'mores morning bun (the delicate chocolate filling didn't over power and the whipped creamy topping were perfect) an apricot shortbread cookie (literally melts in your mouth!), and a kimchi danish (not me - my daughter picked that one and loved it). They were all superb, worth having a conversation about! We also had drinks - iced vanilla latte and a seasonal apple cider with cold foam -- also very tasty. There were a couple of tables inside, a couple outside. It's a popular place so consider yourself lucky if you snag a spot. We took ours to go, walking past a line of folks waiting their turn to drool at the glass. We ordered inside, got our pastries boxed up, then went outside to wait for our drinks to be delivered by the barista through a handy sidewalk-facing window. Street parking available and a lot nearby but I'm not sure if it's a public lot. We parked on the street right out front.

One of my joys while on vacation is to visit local bakeries and try a variety of baked goods…read more The Cincinnati zoo is close by and they allow outside food and drinks. As such, we stopped by on a Thursday morning to pick up a few pastries for our zoo visit. We went with the basics, croissant and pain au chocolate. Both items were fresh, buttery, and flakey. We inhaled them. There were a few other notable items that I would love to return and try: peach jam and fig leaf pastry cream bun and burnt honey Swiss with peach jam shortbread.
