This spot has such good vibes! It's peaceful and beautiful on the inside. It's also open late which is so rare for a coffee shop. We were able to visit on a weeknight for a cozy bedtime drink. We had nearly the whole place to ourselves so I'd love to see more people utilize this quiet lovely spot for studying or socializing. While we just got a drink, the food menu looked delish. They had a hot honey and goat cheese toast that looked amazing. Their seasonal fall drink menu was also super unique; the barista recommended the sweet potato chai which had cinnamon bun notes and I noticed an apple lemonade too?! Yum. We got two of the menu classics. The Lavender London Fog and the Golden Milk Tea Latte. I didn't get strong lavender notes until the end when I noticed the syrup had settled all on the bottom. I would have used a stirrer in retrospect. But I still enjoyed my drink a lot. My husband told me that he liked how the golden milk had notes of turmeric- I had to explain what golden milk was haha! He really enjoyed it for his first one. The barista was friendly and patient with us and our toddler, who was practicing walking all over the shop. Oh, and parking is a breeze- there is public parking right outside the shop in a convenient lot. Definitely will be back, this spot is a huge asset to the neighborhood. read more

I've been in a few times for networking meetups, but this time I stopped in not too long after they celebrated their 6 year anniversary. I loved all the new additions and added menu items. They have really expanded their food options and gotten really creative with their seasonal drinks. They also offer their own coffee beans for purchase and other items. I didn't get to try it when I stopped in, but was excited to see the birthday flight on the menu. It looks like something really fun to try and share with a friend, sampling 4 different drinks from the menu (for an excellent price). Service was great, even on a day where they seemed pretty busy. They kept the line down and kept conversation with the customers so it didn't feel like a wait. Lastly, I love the expansion of the community information at the front counter. It gives the coffee shop a true feeling of "all are welcome here" and support for each other. read more

Great service great coffee tip: try the chickpeas toast!!! Great space to meet for a business meeting to work or for a coffee date. I love supporting woman owned businesses! Additional info is they cater!!! I've used them for catered family gatherings as well as business. Owner has really made this space a community hub for groups to meet and host small events. Congrats on 6 years of being a hub for good ideas and community support! read more

Delicious coffee, pleasant staff and a great atmosphere! I wish I lived near here but I'm just passing through town!

We were in the Walnut Hills area and decided to mosey over to Cream + Sugar for a to-go drink on an early Saturday morning. Very nice place and very efficient and friendly staff! We debated the merits of lavender syrup (nice smell, questionable in a drink -- but I do like my London Fog!). For the chai ordered, we originally wanted coconut it milk -- they quickly let us know they were out but offered several non-dairy alternatives. Tasty drinks! We parked on the street right in front, so we hopped in the car and were on our way. read more

Ok so stopped in for a quick coffee and was greeted with fresh croissants. So of course I had to get one. Stuffed. YES STUFFED. With chicken salad. And a solo dirty peppermint chai tea latte. Service was amazing. The art in the walls was exceptional. The whole cinemas me say yes I will come here and work remotely when necessary. And come here and chill and write poetry when not necessary. read more

Not bad, just not in a hurry This coffee shop falls squarely into the "perfectly fine" category for me. Nothing stood out as amazing, but nothing was terrible either. The wait was definitely on the long side, especially considering it wasn't particularly busy. That said, the staff was friendly and seemed to be doing their best, which helped soften the delay. I may have found it on an off day because other reviews are overwhelmingly positive read more

Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

Today was my third visit to Cream and Sugar Coffee House. During my previous visits, I purchased drinks, but today I was working on my computer and hadn't bought anything yet. The employee/Owner asked if I was planning to make a purchase. I asked for a cup of water and told her I might buy something before I left. When I decided to leave, the employee followed me outside and accused me of lying, saying I couldn't come in just to use the Wi-Fi. My concern isn't that the business expects customers to make a purchase--that's their right. My concern is the way the situation was handled. Being followed outside and confronted after I was already leaving was unnecessary and unprofessional. If the owner has a policy requiring customers to make a purchase before using the Wi-Fi or staying in the café, that policy should be clearly posted so everyone knows the expectations before sitting down. Clear communication would prevent uncomfortable situations like this. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated, I won't be returning. read more

Conclusion -Cool environment, nice for sort term solo studying/ remote working. Also ideal for meeting up with a friend, with leaning toward Lattes as drink of choice.(Ex. Vanilla Latte). This is an easy place to grab coffee. You can pull up right outside, and get in and out relatively quick. For full Review check us out on Instagram and Tiktok. @Hunitng_Coffee read more

Sugar and Cream in Evanston is such a gem! I'm here for SAIGE's Happier Hour and this cute Black-owned coffee shop has the warmest, most inviting atmosphere. Simone is AMAZING-welcoming and attentive and the coffee is soooo good. You can truly feel the community-based vibe the moment you walk in. Highly recommend! read more

Yelp, you did it again! I was driving through town and needed some coffee and a snack before I continued on my journey to Columbus. After a quick search, I found Cream + Sugar. Several people I know personally had left glowing reviews, so I knew before I got there that I found a gem. I arrived to find a super cute coffee shop on the corner of the street. There was free parking right outside and the entrance was surrounded by beautiful potted flowers. There were giant windows that offered a glance inside and immediately after opening the door I heard two kind voices welcoming me. The walls are a vibrant blue with colorful paintings of Black women hanging above a seating area. On the other side you'll find the menu on giant chalkboards above the barista station. As someone who regularly works out of coffee shops, I felt inspired here. If I had time to hang out, I totally would have. Other patrons had the same idea, as they had their laptops open and were typing away. I ordered an iced lavender latte with almond milk and goodness was it delicious. Lavender is my favorite and I'm always excited to see it on a menu. I also got a buttered croissant, which was just what I needed to hold me over until I got to my final destination. I have no doubt that one day I'll visit this coffee shop again. It's Black-owned, clearly supports local artists, and has a food menu that I was itching to try. All things that I love. read more

I had one of the most uncomfortable experiences I've ever had in a coffee shop here today. I came in around 3:00 p.m. to take a work meeting on my laptop. The meeting was starting as I walked in, so I sat down and logged on right away. About 15 minutes later, while I was clearly in the middle of my meeting, the woman behind the counter yelled across the shop asking if I was going to order something. I said yes and told her I would order as soon as my meeting ended. About 10 minutes after that, she again yelled across the shop asking if I was going to order and said they were "closing soon." She was visibly frustrated. I told her I didn't realize they were closing soon and repeated that I would order when my meeting finished. At that point I decided it was best to leave. When my meeting ended around 3:30, I packed up and headed out. The woman then followed me from behind the counter to the door and yelled in my face that this was not the type of place where I could come and "steal their internet." I calmly told her I was using my own personal hotspot. She continued to yell at me and berate me while standing directly in front of me. I have visited this shop many times, which makes this even more disappointing. Being followed and yelled at on my way out the door was aggressive, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. I will not be returning, and I would strongly caution others. read more

Cream + Sugar is a total vibe. From the moment you walk in, you are grooving to the sounds of smooth, chill music and greeted by the servers and their welcoming energy. During this visit, I opted for the rosemary and goat cheese toast and an iced coffee. My son ordered the iced chai. My toast was AMAZING. The cranberry drizzle gave it the perfect balance of savory and sweet. My guy LOVED his iced Chai, stating it was one of the best he's had. Literally, my only request is that they add a couple of iced coffee options. That's all I will say because everything else was amazing, and I will both return frequently and highly suggest that everyone who reads this review hurries there (insert heart emoji)! read more

I found the menu at this coffee shop appealing online, and more so in person. Not sure if they're always 100% vegetarian, but they were on my visit and I ended up with a chickpea salad on toast with microgreens, a nice healthy breakfast. My chai was a sweet syrupy kind of flavor, but I'm not going to say it wasn't satisfying on a cold day. They were rather small inside, and with several patrons there for the long haul when I visited, I wouldn't count on getting seating. They do seem to serve everything in takeout containers by default, which didn't used to be standard but helps in this case. read more

This coffee shop is a total vibe. I stopped in on a Friday morning to work for a couple hours, and ended up staying almost until they closed! Outlets are easily accessible, and fantastic natural lighting continues throughout the space. There's chill music playing, and incredible local artwork mixed on display, with several blooming plants. The people working here are so kind and friendly ... and they stayed on top of everything when business picked up mid-morning. I've tried a few of their signature coffee offerings ... the Snickerdoodle is definitely my favorite. It's cinnamon-y and light, without being overpowering. The Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha was also tasty - but if you don't like things too sweet, I would check out a different offering. Since I stayed so long, I also ordered one of their toast offerings, and it was AMAZING. You can try all three in a "trio" order, but I went with the Honey Pepper + Goat Cheese. It was topped with microgreens, and was absolutely the perfect afternoon snack. This is a great spot to hang out and work for a while, and an even better to bring a friend for a cup of coffee and a snack. I'll definitely be back again soon. read more

Cute corner coffee shop with delicious food and drinks (coffee and non-coffee options available). Private parking lot around the corner, simple, delicious menu, open seating area inside with great music to for coffee shop vibes. Natural light was perfectly displaying local artist's work and local events/ brochures on the table as you walk in. Only had about 15 minutes of time to sit and it was perfect for enjoying a honey pepper & goat cheese toast with my watermelon cucumber mint refresher. the toast was packed with flavor was a perfect mid-morning snack. My boyfriend got a vanilla latte - I tried it, but unfortunately didn't get to taste it much since it was so hot. I ended up burning my mouth - so just beware - it needs about 5-10 minutes to cool off with the lid off so you can enjoy the latte. Overall, cute place, chill vibes, definitely involved in the local community (love that), and great toast! read more

So my BFF and I walked down from the VW dealership. Let me say the neighborhood is a wee sketchy in my opinion. I say this because at 8:45am the was a couple of guys on the sidewalk just 50 feet away drinking beer out of paper bags. So with that said. I would come back just not at night. The staff was super friendly and the coffee was yummy and the toast as they call them are very good. It may seem expensive if you just look at cost, but I think if you look at the uniqueness of the place and the value of the flavor. I say it is a perfect mix. Sure I have spent the same and gotten more, but did I get better food or did I eat more. Nope. So give them a try, enjoy what you get and be thankful for what you have. read more

Cream and sugar I love trying new restaurants and coffeehouses while traveling. This is one of the best in Cincinnati. It's comfortable, and has great coffee and cold brew. My daughter and I kept it simple today with just a small medium roast coffee and a small cold brew. We noticed they have some sugar free flavors and dairy free milk options, so we look forward to trying a fancier drink next time. There were people studying/working, but we didn't feel like we were in a library or like people were annoyed by people chatting. Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse - Croissant and a vanilla latte to start my day - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

The first time I had visited Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse, I was impressed by the artistic decorations. The various paintings and mellow music was perfect relaxing environment for enjoying a cup of coffee. I had ordered a coffee, but forgot to tell the barista to make it sweet, which was my fault. The second time, I ordered the "Golden Milk Latte"...thinking it was going to be a coffee. Unfortunately, it was a tea, and did not have much in the way of flavor for me. However, Third Times the Charm, as I had the coffee which made me fall in LOVE with Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse! I ordered the "Raspberry White Chocolate Mocha Caramel Latte", and it was FANTASTIC! From the first sip to the last, I enjoyed my cup. The raspberry and white mocha chocolate combined with the caramel flavor was an absolute treat. Not one flavor overshadowed the other, and was extremely smooth throughout. If I could properly describe it, having this coffee was equivalent to a hug from a long ago friend. Now, whenever I visit Cream + Sugar Coffeehouse, this is my Go-To. I encourage anyone who loves coffee, tea, (or other sweets), to give this place a try. You will be glad you did! read more
