Service was amazing! We had a really hard time deciding what to order!! Brunch drinks are 20% off M-Thursday 7-9am yay!! Trillionaire bacon was not my thing, but the chicken and waffles were very good! There are definitely lots of good things on thr menu. I'm interested in trying next time. Also I almost walked out with a hoodie... If I come up again, I'll definitely get one! Ok I ended up with one

11/24/25 My husband and I stopped in here after I had a procedure and we were both craving something wholesome and satisfying. After checking out reviews on Yelp and Google and having a local recommend it, we knew we had to try it. And wow, it did not disappoint. I ordered the Philly omelette and my husband got the Frogs Eyes, plus a side of stuffed pancakes we absolutely did not need but definitely wanted. Everything was incredibly delicious and so filling. The flavors were spot on and the portions were perfect for exactly the kind of comfort meal we were searching for. Our waitress , Raegan, made the experience even better. She was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. Service was quick, the vibe was retro and unique, and the food hit every mark. A solid 10 out of 10. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a satisfying, delicious meal.

Came for burger week and they didn't have slaw for their special burger so the burger was under whelming. Makes me not want to return. The expectation vs reality is real (see pic)

HangOverEasy is a small, local Ohio chain of brunch diners, founded in Columbus and currently operating in a half-dozen locations. They feature a full bar and a menu full of hearty breakfast and lunch items. Their latest location happens to be down the road from my house, so my family and I stopped in recently for breakfast. I started with the "Fire in the Hole" bloody with vodka, Bloody Mary mix, a Flamin' Hot Cheeto rim, banana peppers, and celery. This was pretty spicy, so definitely order one if that is how you like it. They also offer several other Bloody Marys, along with several mimosa options. My wife couldn't pick between the mimosas and was happy to find a flight option, which allowed her to sample three of them. For breakfast, I really enjoyed the chicken & waffles. The chicken is battered with buttermilk and hot sauce and is served with spicy maple glaze on top of a full buttermilk waffle. I would absolutely order this again. The serving size was huge, which was also to be said for the other dishes that my family had, like the omelets, frog eyes (fresh-baked biscuits smothered with local sausage gravy), and a huge double stack of buttermilk pancakes. You will not leave hungry!

We were visiting a friend who lives in the neighborhood. She brought us here on our last morning in town. The food was great and I only wish we had a chance to try more of the menu. Everything we ordered was truly delicious. The servings were plentiful. The flavors were fantastic. We are dreaming of our next trip to Cincinnati and this place will be on our list of stops. I got the corned beef hash with eggs. The hash was some of the best I have had ever. So Meaty!! My friends each ordered one of the specials. It was a breakfast sandwich made with pancakes, eggs and bacon and was SO massive that they probably should have split one. We did have a short wait for a table, and our server was efficient, but a little gruff, but it was a Saturday morning at the new breakfast joint in this area. No matter, I'll definitely be back.

This place is a great new restaurant for the area. It has a full bar and great seating inside and an adorable outside covered patio! We went around 1030 and it wasn't too crowded but I think a lot of people don't know it's open. By 1130 it was hopping with a waiter and every table taken. Make sure to ask for Chris to be your server. He's great and comes with a lot of fun energy'. I got eg Angry Egg with a side of Avocado smash. We split the Cinnamon Toast Roll with blueberry....sooo good!!!

I was in town visiting family, and before I headed back home to Indy we stopped here for brunch, what a fun place! I had a very tasty Bloody Mary, rimmed with hot Cheetos which was fun, then for my main course I had eggs Benedict with chorizo and a very tasty side salad! I can't wait to go again! Check this place out!

I had been looking to try this for sometime. I was disappointed. The shop when you walk is nice. It has a cozy feeling, with great service and friendly people. I just was not a fan of the food. My pancakes were undercooked, and there was still uncooked batter as I cut into them. The pancakes were overly sweet and I struggled to make it through. Add on there was no sugar free syrup option too. I will spin back on HOE, but definitely not an encouraging first experience

We got there at around 9:10 and were first offered a seat inside but it was so loud in there the hostess couldn't hear what we were saying and vice versa, so we got a spot on the patio. Our sever was very nice, but service was VERY slow for a Sunday night. She told us they were busy the night before because of a conference and they were still in town that day, so the bar inside was busy. After ordering our drinks it took about 15 minutes to get them, and she didn't even take our food order when she came back despite us being ready. We waited, no problem. We ordered a 'Spice Bag' and it was decent but took about 25 minutes to get to us despite being potatoes and onions in a bag. For 40 minutes we waited for our food and when it came out it was terrible. I ordered the Fish and Chips and Caesar Salad to share and both were mediocre at best and inedible at worst. If you come here: DO NOT GET THE FISH AND CHIPS. They were battered nicely, but aside from that the fish didn't feel fully cooked and tasted like nothing, with a hint of dirty water. The tartar sauce seemed homemade, but didn't have any flavour. The coleslaw was boring and watery, with no flavour. Our server never checked up on us during the meal, so I never got the chance to ask for something else, so I was just stuck with the fries it came with. I know what good fish and chips should taste like and it's not that. Others ordered the curry and the wings and seemed to enjoy it, which is nice. However, 30 minutes after placing our order we were told that the kitchen "ran out of rice" and they asked us what we would like to replace it. When the curry came out, it was missing the naan but again, server never came to check on us so we didn't notice until the end of our meal. Overall, it's a cute place that feels Irish, but service is slow and food is terrible. Our server was lovely and it wasn't her fault that she was busy with tables, but management should be doing more when they know there's a conference in town to set their servers up for success.

Both were friendly & acknowledged the birthday girl in our party. Atmosphere is great. You could comfortably walk in wearing jeans or come dressed up. Neither would be over or under dressed. The menu has juuuust the right amount of options, which is great! Heather was our waitress & while she was kind, her service skills were lacking. Granted we weren't at a Michelin Star Restaurant, but we also weren't at a dive bar. There was an endless amount of awkward reaching through, over & around when refilling drinks. There were a couple of instances where she actually touched our shoulders to nudge us to the side so she could reach through. Totally not okay during service at a restaurant nicer than a dive bar. We ordered the cheese sticks starter which were so yummy! Highly recommend! A couple of us ordered the Cesar side salad & were highly disappointed. The dressing tasted like it was mayonnaise heavy & then watered down by lettuce that wasn't dried after being rinsed. Even adding tons of extra pepper didn't help. The lettuce also tasted like it has been too wet for too long. The lobster mac was ordered in the group & it was tasty but soooo greasy. So, order with caution. We had the Black N Bleu salad in the group & that was good. The Atlantic Salmon was another dinner ordered & the crust seasoning was delicious! Sadly, the salmon was a bit overdone. It does come with a lobster cream sauce, which confused me. It was only so so & I definitely skipped it entirely. The steamed broccoli was done to perfection though. Not soggy & not too crunchy. We also had the 12oz ribeye & that was great! Flavorful, cooked perfectly! I will add though, that the steak knives need an upgrade. I really wanted to love this place, but we won't return on our next trip to Newport/Cincinnati.

Normally, I find hotel food is just okay and nothing special, but Coppin's was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and our equally pleasant server quickly brought menus and asked what we would like to drink. When it was my turn, I happily ordered Coppin's Old Fashioned. I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. As my wife and I made our way back to Louisville, we both commented that we would definitely return the next time we were in Covington.

Going back and forth on stars for this one. Me and around 30 of my coworkers came into town for a…read moretwo day workshop and they got us a room block at this hotel. I ended up being in the North Building and cracked up when I walked into my room and saw I was in one of the Lightwell Lofts (a few of us ended up in them by chance, guess they included them in our room block lol). While the room was super cool and beautiful, there was a lot to be desired. After taking a million photos of the gorgeous room, I quickly realized a major flaw - the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is downstairs, and the staircase between the two is a crazy narrow spiral staircase. As someone that gets up to pee in the middle of the night, having to traverse the spiral stairs was terrifying lol. One of my coworkers actually swapped with someone who had a "normal" room because he was worried about falling down the stairs. My downstairs tv wouldn't turn on. I fiddled with the remote a bit, tried rearranging the batteries, but couldn't turn it on. I used the ipad in the room to put in a maintenance request, but no one came. I figured I would just let the front desk know when I headed out to dinner that night. Hours later, the front desk calls me to see if anyone had come to fix the tv - they hadn't. The girl was very nice and apologetic, she said I sent the request in the middle of a shift change and someone had accidentally marked it as complete. So she said someone would be right up, and he did come up. Handed me a handwritten note and a $25 coupon for Coppin's which was totally unexpected and a very nice gesture. Turned out, he knew exactly what the problem was - he said the remote was broken and he was supposed to swap it out but forgot. Gave me a new remote and all was good. He also mentioned there is a second remote upstairs for that tv. After he left, I went to look for it - there was no second remote. We held our meetings in the Scheper Room, which was also beautiful. The room was absolutely freezing the first day and I'm someone that prefers it a touch colder and was uncomfortable. We had to get them to update the thermostat and then in the afternoon it was way too hot. We had food brought in from the hotel and it was all fine, nothing super memorable. There was soup at lunch but the sign didn't even say what it was - just "chef's choice." The Italian hoagies were way too big and needed to be cut in half, I couldn't even finish half of one. The salad with fruit/pecans/etc was my favorite though. They had the completely wrong password on the tables for the Wifi but thankfully we figured it out quickly that we just had to use the room password. The second day for breakfast, there was yogurt on the menu and even on the sign with all the food - but there was no yogurt. Some of my coworkers were specifically asking for yogurt so we had to request it directly because it was included and paid for. Box lunches to take to go on the second day which were fine, I had the chicken caesar salad wrap. Housekeeping didn't come to service my room until 5pm when I was in there getting ready for dinner, so I was not able to get the room serviced. Just asked them for some more coffee. My conditioner in the shower was empty but I didn't bother reporting it after the tv issue and I had my own conditioner with me, so used that. The lotion at the sink was so thick that I could not get it out of the bottle at all, I had to use q-tips to get it out (it was nice quality, just kinda useless if you can't get it out of the bottle lol). Great local offerings on the mini bar and in the fridge. My coworkers and I got a kick out of the "intimacy kits" because we were on a business trip haha. The Magic 8 ball was fun, I loved the conversation cards even though I just read a few of them to myself haha. Even with the bedroom upstairs, it was nice to have the big double closet in the bathroom hallway so I really was just in the loft to sleep and kept all my stuff downstairs. The location is great, lots of fun stuff right nearby. The courtyard is lovely. I would say this is a solid 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, I'll give it a 4 because the staff was overall very nice and quickly fixed any issues, just a little annoying that we had any issues at all.
