    Beef stew w/ cornbread

My boss had been talking about Poochie's for quite some time now, so recently, I said let's go because I wanted to check it out. What did I think? I really agreed with his fandom of the place. This definitely has a super local, all-American neighborhood grill feel, and the food is excellent. We went on a Wednesday for lunch. The place itself is open from 6am until 2pm and served lots of breakfast and lunch options straight off the grill. Seating is a little limited but it's not exactly a huge place. But what IS huge about it is the character and flavor of everything. You can tell this spot has a plethora of regulars because the servers all know them by first name. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. After a little perusing through the menu, I opted for the mushroom swiss burger as a platter with fries, and my boss got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a bowl of beef stew with cornbread. We kept looking around at what everyone else ordered, and it all looked fantastic, especially the breakfast options. We didn't wait long at all before everything was ready and absolutely tasty. My burger had a mushroom sauce on it that was delicious of everything including the fries. Yeah, it was messy to eat, but worth it. My boss really liked his order, especially the beef stew, which was VERY hearty. And for the price, it was also a great deal. This is a great local grill with lots to offer. I could absolutely see going back, and likely, bringing my lady for lunch here. And definitely try their fresh made chocolate chip cookies. We got some to go and they were awesome!

As a native of Cincinnati, I adore Goetta. Puis is the one place to go for a great breakfast served with Goetta.

It was a small space but feels like a diner from an old movie. It was cozy and fun! I got the Tealside Slammer with scrambled eggs, potato cakes, and upgraded the standard pancake to a waffle with brown sugar butter. It's one of my favorite meals I've had this year. I've never had potato cakes before, so now I am on a mission to learn how to make them from home. The eggs were buttery and fluffy - I loved them. The sausage tasted just like how my grandma makes it. The waitress (who was super bubbly and friendly!) suggested I get the brown sugar butter with my waffle and she was so right. I've never had something like that, but there is no going wrong with brown sugar or butter - the combination of the two obviously is amazing! I can't wait to go back and try even more on the menu!

They serve breakfast all day. It's usually busy whenever I go for dinner around 5 or 6pm but service is quick. It might be hard to navigate and find a seat because it's a small place. The string lines are cute. They have music playing and Pixar movies on the TV. My favorite is the Sweet Brunch Sandwich. I also really like their biscuits and sausage gravy. Their home fries have the perfect amount of crispiness. I've tried other things on the menu and it's all been decent. Their flavored iced coffee was not great, though. I mean it's a diner so it's not like... super fancy and I wouldn't exactly say it's worth going out of your way for. I gave a bonus star for the service :)

From the moment we…read morearrived, the staff was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, offering great recommendations that did not disappoint. Every dish was unique and packed with flavor. The lobster may be the best in town--buttery, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The short rib mac and cheese was pure comfort food elevated to another level, with rich, melted cheese and a side of homemade tomato sauce that added an unexpected burst of flavor. The real surprise of the night was the potato cake. Whether it's a secret menu item or not, it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. The combination of crispy potato cake, creamy goat cheese, and sweet apple butter was absolutely incredible and unlike anything we've had before. This restaurant continues to impress us with its creativity, quality, and outstanding service. We can't wait for our next visit.

Located in Old Milford, This restaurant looks like a diner, but I love their menu. It's a mix of tapas style, brunch, salads, sandwiches, has a speciality section for lobster with a unique drink menu. I love it! The inside is very welcoming and love the decor. Not too huge but definitely an intimate setting. Since it was a lovely afternoon, we sat outside. We ordered: Drinks: -Paul Ponnelle Pinot noir (France) -Pierre Delize sparkling Blanc de Blanc (France) -Garage Beer Lime Lunch: -Chicken salad club sandwich -Arugula salad-grilled lemon vinaigrette, radish and Parmesan Potato cakes- whipped feta & apple butter We got our meals right away and they were delicious! Love the lemon vinaigrette as my dressing for my salad. The combination of the apple butter and whipped feta went so well with my potato cakes. I tried a bite of my fiancée's sandwich and loved the toasted bread and the chicken salad had great flavor! Our server was Hannah and she was very kind and attentive. What a great experience! I loved spending my time here and would definitely come back!
