Terrible. We used to love this place ate here twice weekly. Just sent my spouse to pick up an order. Young boy working was so unbelievably rude to him about the order "being the only one". Okay great first order of that day not mad about the attitude I don't want to work on Sundays either. But the food. TERRIBLE. Ordered a steak chori taco and the steak was unbearable. I had to remove every piece as I almost choked on my first bite the meat was in huge slabs and inedible. So tough and chewy it made me gag and ruined the whole meal, or what would have been my lunch had I been able to actually eat it. Also so greasy it got every where. read more

My Mr. and his coworkers rave about this place so when he was feeling Mexican for lunch, this came to mind. I was not disappointed at all! Love going to restaurants where you walk up, order your food and drinks, they give you a number and bring your food out to you. That's perfect! They have everything from appetizers, taco salads, tacos, burritos and quesadillas. Mostly hand held foods. They have a fountain drink section where you can get water and soft drinks. We ordered: Chips & salsa small Beef puffy tacos (3) Al pastor burrito 2 classic lime margaritas Chips and salsa was fresh and loved the fresh cilantro. My beef puffy tacos were amazing! You get the hard and soft shell at the same time with great flavor. I can't think of a Mexican restaurant doing this except if you order a chalupa at Taco Bell. The Margaritas were tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the ice melted quick. Of course my Mr loved his burrito. They do not have outdoor patio. It's in a small shopping center and they don't have the space. They also have a rewards program here as well. What a great experience. Good food and drinks at reasonable pricing. Definitely going to be back! read more

If you know anything about me, you know I can't pass up good tacos. Who can? And Cabo does have good tacos. They also have burritos, quesadillas, taco salads, and more. I stopped by with a co-worker to get some carry our for the office. The place itself is good sized, with plenty of seating. My only gripe is the small parking lot and difficulty getting in and out from Beechmont Ave, but that's no fault of theirs. They have lots of different options on the menu and a very nice drink list. I opted for three street tacos for $8 (one steak, one chicken, and one al pastor). Of course, we had to get some chips and queso too (mandatory, end of the story!). We didn't wait long at all and the service was fantastic. My tacos were excellent and the salsa verde that came with them had a very nice spicy kick. Not too much, not too little. Needless to say, I finished it all off. This is a really good taco spot and a great addition to the variety in Anderson Township. Maybe next time, I'll bring my lady, and we'll eat there so we can try their margaritas. What makes tacos better than margaritas and beautiful company, right? read more

Honestly, I just keep going back for the Grilled Shrimp Tacos! And the parking is so easy because it is at the other end of the strip mall with First Watch. The crowds haven't found Taco Cabo yet but they will, I think! Easy to walk in and order, find a seat. Or go in and find your party-join them. My husband and I love this place. You walk up and order and then you get your own drink and pick a table/booth to sit at. They will bring you your food typically it is very fast. The food is always amazing I love the grilled chicken tacos I usually only add 2 toppings but you can load it up and get 4 toppings. The queso that automatically comes on the food is so good. The steak is very well cook and taste great. It was $30 for everything (2 tacos, burrito, chips and salsa, drinks and a 25% tip.) this place is never busy and we don't understand why go check it out!! Cabo Taco offers a unique upscale fast food restaurant experience. You order your food then it is brought out to you. The setup is great with multiple TVs throughout the restaurant and a bar. The staff clears the tables after your meal. All of the staff were very kind and friendly! The menu offers a variety of options including chips, beans, tacos, burritos, taco salad, etc. I ordered the chips and guacamole. The chips were warm which matched perfectly with the guacamole and salsa. My tacos were shrimp, pastor, and chicken. The tacos were soft corn tortillas. There is cheese drizzled over the tacos. Overall, the taste was ok not too bad or good but kind of bland. The shrimp taco was the best it was filled with shrimp. The experience was nice for a date night. I discovered this place while taking my son to get a haircut next door at Great Clips. It was kind of empty in the middle of an afternoon, and I popped in and grabbed a menu. That night I brought the family to have a meal there, but they close at 9 p.m. except on Fridays when they close at 10 p.m., so we came back on Friday and it had a good crowd; obviously a popular place. My kids have Celiac disease and can't have flour tortillas, but they offer corn tortillas for their tacos on request, so we all ordered corn tortillas and we all ordered different tacos. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos, hoping for a fish taco similar to Rubios. The mahi mahi tacos were nothing like a Rubios fish taco, but were okay in their own right. I personally didn't care for them as they tasted a little fishy, but there wasn't anything actually wrong with them. One of my sons and my wife were very happy with their grilled chicken tacos, and my other son was happy with is carnitas tacos. My wife and I ordered 16 ounce margaritas and they were good. Overall we were well fed. Prices were as expected for four people with drinks including a couple margaritas. But the real five-stars was last night when we ordered for pick-up. They had 3 grilled chicken tacos for $11. We ordered two of those to feed three of us, and one of my sons ordered two carnitas tacos for around the same price. They have a "6off30" code that takes off $6 on orders of $30 or more, so my family of four got eight tacos for right around $28 for pick-up. That's an amazing deal. A text message confirmed they had my order, and it was completed in just minutes. This is because the tacos are made with just meat in the tortillas, and all the toppings are on the side in containers, and you assemble them yourself. This keeps the tacos from getting soggy and allows them to complete your order REALLY fast. They even included a bag of complimentary tortilla chips. We were well fed, and the "6off30" code made this a bargain. It's almost impossible to feed a family of four people for $28. This is my new favorite taco place in Anderson; and let's face it, there aren't many to choose from, so this is a WINNER! read more

Friendly staff and very clean restaurant which counts for a lot these days. Wife and I shared the guacamole chips $4 and they included a salsa which was nice. The draft beer was nice and cold as expected! I got 3 tacos order individually and all had the option to be flour or corn shells which was nice. Each taco was topped with queso which was a nice touch at no extra cost. Overall the experience was great but could have been better if the chicken and the el pastor we're a little more fresh. Seemed like they got a little overdone in the warmers an were a little too chewy then I'd like. This was our first visit and I would go back and try it again. Comparable restaurants in the area have similar entree prices that include between 1-2 sides where Cabo did not. I am going to generous and give this place a "2", mostly because they are new and they have time to fix things. The good: -The interior is beautifully redone, you would have no idea it was once an Izzy's -Ownership/Management seems to be attentive and available -Kids meals are a good value, $6 includes a main entrée and two sides. The bad: -Cashiers seemed disinterested. One young lady was apparently "working" a register but seemed content to let the other young lady take all the orders at the other register -The tacos need work. We ordered Chicken, Steak, Mahi Mahi and Carnitas to get a nice sample. The chicken was DRY and flavorless. Actually all the tacos we had were very blah. The carnitas was the best of the bunch. -You get queso and pico with your tacos, so naturally I smothered them in this to try to add some flavor. Sadly the queso added some texture, but had little flavor. The picos color wasn't bright, it looked like it was old. -Where's the cilantro??? I'll try this place one more time in a few months to see if they improve, but at around $5/taco I can't be a lab rat forever. read more

The wife said the guacamole was to spicy for her but I thought it was very good. A side of jalapenos and sour cream made everything better. It is fine... if you know what you are getting. Far from authentic, Americanized tacos smothered in queso is what you get. Not double wrapped corn tortillas with onion and cilantro which is what would be way better. If you want that the taco truck on 32 by the BP station is where you need to head. 2 stars if you are expecting good Mexican food. 4 stars if you are expecting Americanized Mexican food. I've been here two times since open and both times the food has been wonderful! Their interior is very chill and clean. The first time I went I got the chicken quesadilla and the churros, and also sampled their chips, salsa and queso! Both the salsa and queso were plenty flavorful and their chips were tasty and warm. The quesadilla itself perhaps could've been better but overall (especially with sour cream to dip it in) it was tasty and filling! The churros were warm, drizzled with (I believe) dulce de leche (similar to caramel) with a side of vanilla ice cream. These were not as sweet as I had hoped but a good dessert to go with your main dish. The second time I got a burrito with pico, cheese, rice, sour cream, and chicken! Again, good and filling. They have good vegetarian options as well (per my sister's orders). Overall I am super satisfied with this restaurant and would recommend for a filling, tasty, quick meal. read more

Taco meat was bland and unseasoned. Tortillas seemed like raw dough. Not kidding... they were so bad I ended up playing frisbee with one with my 5 year old at home. The staff seem to be somewhere else at the same time, ignoring any questions and some of your order. I was excited when this place came in and the location is great, but they are messing up the fast casual gourmet taco scene on an epic scale. Anderson already has the worst Chipotle in the Cincinnati area across the street. The strongest competitors would have been Moe's and Taco Bell. This should have been easy. read more
