Cabo taco is right down the street from us and it's now my favorite Mexican restaurant! The service and way you order is always super fast, I like how you can easily order take out, or just dine in-- and it is always so delicious! Their taco salad is my favorite in Cincinnati!

    Can we taco 'bout it?

If you know anything about me, you know I can't pass up good tacos. Who can? And Cabo does have good tacos. They also have burritos, quesadillas, taco salads, and more. I stopped by with a co-worker to get some carry our for the office. The place itself is good sized, with plenty of seating. My only gripe is the small parking lot and difficulty getting in and out from Beechmont Ave, but that's no fault of theirs. They have lots of different options on the menu and a very nice drink list. I opted for three street tacos for $8 (one steak, one chicken, and one al pastor). Of course, we had to get some chips and queso too (mandatory, end of the story!). We didn't wait long at all and the service was fantastic. My tacos were excellent and the salsa verde that came with them had a very nice spicy kick. Not too much, not too little. Needless to say, I finished it all off. This is a really good taco spot and a great addition to the variety in Anderson Township. Maybe next time, I'll bring my lady, and we'll eat there so we can try their margaritas. What makes tacos better than margaritas and beautiful company, right?

    Rice

Love this place !!! The staff is very friendly the food is amazing !! My husband got the chicken burrito I got the veggie nachos and a side of rice the rice is so yummy everything was delicious can't wait to come back and try something else was to full to get dessert because we wasn't expecting such good portions but definitely give this place a try you won't be disappointed.

Honestly, I just keep going back for the Grilled Shrimp Tacos! And the parking is so easy because it is at the other end of the strip mall with First Watch. The crowds haven't found Taco Cabo yet but they will, I think! Easy to walk in and order, find a seat. Or go in and find your party-join them. And then everyone orders from the table on the app. I love this place!

    Chips and salsa

My husband and I love this place. You walk up and order and then you get your own drink and pick a table/booth to sit at. They will bring you your food typically it is very fast. The food is always amazing I love the grilled chicken tacos I usually only add 2 toppings but you can load it up and get 4 toppings. The queso that automatically comes on the food is so good. The steak is very well cook and taste great. It was $30 for everything (2 tacos, burrito, chips and salsa, drinks and a 25% tip.) this place is never busy and we don't understand why go check it out!! It is right next to crumbl cookie too

Cabo Taco offers a unique upscale fast food restaurant experience. You order your food then it is brought out to you. The setup is great with multiple TVs throughout the restaurant and a bar. The staff clears the tables after your meal. All of the staff were very kind and friendly! The menu offers a variety of options including chips, beans, tacos, burritos, taco salad, etc. I ordered the chips and guacamole. The chips were warm which matched perfectly with the guacamole and salsa. My tacos were shrimp, pastor, and chicken. The tacos were soft corn tortillas. There is cheese drizzled over the tacos. Overall, the taste was ok not too bad or good but kind of bland. The shrimp taco was the best it was filled with shrimp. The experience was nice for a date night. Would recommend checking out this new spot and trying the other options to form your own opinion.

We could seriously eat here every week. Shrimp tacos , grilled veggies, and I love that you can pick and choose all your sides to make it your way! Friendly service and $5 Happy Hour margaritas!

    Hair in guacamole

I found a hair in and throw all of my food , second time I ate I found chicken piece . So they don't follow the hygiene.

Friendly staff and very clean restaurant which counts for a lot these days. Wife and I shared the guacamole chips $4 and they included a salsa which was nice. The draft beer was nice and cold as expected! I got 3 tacos order individually and all had the option to be flour or corn shells which was nice. Each taco was topped with queso which was a nice touch at no extra cost. Overall the experience was great but could have been better if the chicken and the el pastor we're a little more fresh. Seemed like they got a little overdone in the warmers an were a little too chewy then I'd like. This was our first visit and I would go back and try it again. Plenty of TV's there if you wanted to watch a game while you eat and drink

Exceptional flavor, great deal, cooked right -- the kind of wings that make grown adults nod silently while chewing like they just heard the national anthem. You've clearly cracked the code there. Now... the rest feels like a restaurant that needs Ken back in the building doing what he does best: tightening Quality Control like a Marine inspecting bunks. The good stuff first:The ambiance is cozy. The TVs with the Olympics everywhere? Fantastic touch. It felt festive, communal, almost European... if Europeans watched curling while eating fries. Our waitress (who has served me a couple times before) is kind, attentive. Whoever is doing hiring and training deserves a raise...but today many of them seemed checked out. Now for the reality check -- delivered with affection: The dining room seating is uncomfortable. The enclosed patio high-tops are noticeably better. The regular chairs feel like they were designed by a chiropractor trying to drum up future business. The chili had good flavor but arrived just barely warm and missing onions, like it stopped just short of finishing school. The potatoes came missing bacon at first. When it did arrive, the portion was... let's call it "symbolic." About one crumpled strip -- not worth the price, even though the bacon itself was perfectly cooked and the aioli made the dish taste very good. Great ingredients, sloppy execution. Some plates are awkwardly shaped, which turns eating into a geometry problem. Our daughter -- a 23-year-old self-appointed restaurant expert -- liked the pancakes, (wanted the goetta burger but it was 86'd) and the sauce had developed that thick film that says, "I've been sitting here longer than a Senate filibuster." Again, good flavor... just tripped by execution. We also watched a neighboring table wait a long time to cash out -- long enough to turn a good experience into a frustrating exit. Julie said the girls bathroom felt like an outhouse in the Arctic on this snowy morning. Hand dryers are below the belt, so low you could dry your shoes. Take your Doan's Pills if you're over 60 and want to dry your hands. One ironic upside: those wobbly hard dining room seats do ensure fast table turnover. They also strongly discourage lingering for after-dinner drinks -- which I'm guessing was not the business strategy. Bottom line, Ken: This is a good restaurant that should be one of the best neighborhood spots in the city. The bones are strong. The staff is usually strong. The wings are elite. What's missing is your signature tightening of the details.... the last 10% that turns "good" into "people won't shut up about it." Because right now, this place feels like a Ferrari that just needs a tune-up. And everyone knows you're one of the best mechanics in town.

Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)
