What really stood out for me was the vegan menu. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The apple pizza was okay. Dare I say on par with CiCi's apple pizza, only smaller and much more expensive. The meatballs were tasty, decent marinara. But the balls were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was adequate. The dining room was comfortable. We found street parking right in front. Not sure if they have a lot. Good thing we made a last minute reservation as it was very busy for a Friday evening. Brady our server took absolutely great care of us. Gave us a few tips on food choices. The best tip was that a Friday Happy Hour from 3-6 meant $6 Calzones INCLUDING "Make Your Own". They had quite a selection of sauces and ingredients. All 4 of us each picked our own and they were EXCELLENT. We also had "Cork Breadsticks" and Toasted Raviolis as appetizers. The raviolis were just a "tad" overdone but very good nonetheless. Decided on Cork and Crust after searching the apps for a place that was close to the Newport Aquarium and also open on Monday, as most places in town pick Monday to close. Entrance is on the side of the building ( a former house turned restaurant). We were immediately greeted by Alex and decided to grab seats at the bar. It turns out that we visited during Cincinnati's pizza week, so we made sure to take advantage of one of their $10 pizzas and ordered the Chardonnay. The app sampler sounded like a great way to experience some of their other offerings, so that was added. I ordered a cinnamon pear Old Fashioned as my cocktail. The food was hot, fresh and tasted homemade. You can tell they take pride in their kitchen and the food served. The garlic dip was so simple but offered amazing flavor. The smoked wings were well prepared but I was not a fan of the garlic parmesan as a sauce. Ravioli and marinara paired very well. The fried pepperoni was surprisingly delicious Pizza was the star of this show - excellent crust with a creamy garlic sauce and chunky veggies. We added sausage and it was the perfect protein for this pie. My Old Fashioned was perfectly balanced with a great fall vibe. The staff was friendly and chatty, made ya feel like one of the crew. I went to cork n crust last week on May 23 . I arrived with plenty of things for happy hour. They had all beers @ $4 I had a couple vanilla porters in a bottle. Great Deal! I ordered a Caprese Salad . It seemed like they made the mozzarella themselves . It was not great the pinwheeled the cheese with some sort of meat . I like to try different pizzas when I travel, and this lace caught my eye because while I've had buffalo pizzas many times at many different places, I've never had it with celery. Loved it! We had a big party (8 people) and we were taken to a cute room on the second floor where there was a separate seating area with couches and a jukebox! Service was great and we got our food quickly, considering that they were packed that night. Our party ordered salads, a calzone, and pizza. The pizza was stone fired and delicious. My wife and I stopped in here a couple weeks ago. We ordered the Hot Honey Pizza, and noticed that they had a special for $6 calzones on Wednesdays, so we ordered both a meatball and a veggie calzone. The food came out relatively quickly. The hot honey pizza was very tasty, though the toppings and sauce were both pretty sparse; would have definitely liked more honey and better coverage with the meat and veggies. The veggie calzone suffered in a few ways from a single problem: the veggies were not pre-cooked at all before being added to the calzone. If they were pan-fried for even a few minutes, it would have been better. Because of this, they leaked a lot of moisture into the dough, making it soggy, and the extra moisture diluted the seasoning, making it a bit on the bland side. The meatball calzone, however, was the opposite. Well-seasoned meat, sauce, and cheese filled out the dough and made for a very tasty dish. I would say our first experience was probably 3.5 stars, but we both kept thinking about the very tasty meatball calzone for the low price of $6. Since then, we've ordered takeout on Wednesdays twice more, each time getting 3 calzones, which only costs $18 before tax. We tried the Italian Calzone, filled with capicola, pepperoni, cheese, and sauce, and it now even outranks the meatball calzone for us. For as long as they offer $6 calzones, we'll likely be ordering takeout from them every month or two. read more

Great place for a casual vibe and good pizza. We went to celebrate a birthday and looking at their Instagram and website we thought it was a more formal place. It didn't affect the quality pizza though, but it is a kid friendly environment and almost fast casual based on the speed everything was coming out. We ordered the French flight of wine - we couldn't tell from the menu that this included 2 whites and a red. Next time we'll probably just order a single glass of wine. There was a flight of red with Malbec, Chianti and Zinfandel. They can accommodate half and half pizzas which was a great way for us to try their ingredients and toppings. We ordered half veggie and half make your own with pesto, roasted peppers, peppadews and balsamic glaze. Both were excellent, we really liked the thin crust they have! We made reservations by filling out a form on their website and then the restaurant emailed and texted us a confirmation. You can also call to make a reservation. They are closed on Mondays. There is street parking available and we didn't have any issues on a Wednesday night at 730 but I can imagine weekends can get busy. The prices of the pizza and flight were very reasonable. I've heard nothing but great things but my first experience there was not great. First was the awkward greeting at the door where my wife and I were asked if we had reservations. The host quickly said we didn't need one today and took us to find a seat. Only two tables were taken but many of the them appeared dirty. The host said we could sit anywhere except 2 specific seats that were reserved. At this point the host assured us they were going to get really busy any moment. We settled on on one toward the back that also turned out to be dirty. We decided to stick it out due to all the great reviews and ordered a meatball appetizer and a pizza. The meatballs were bland and the bed of sauce quickly turned into a pile of thick cheese which made it a bit challenging to eat. The pizza looked delicious but I didn't enjoy it either. There was full slices of bacon which makes for great pictures but not so easy to eat. The other issue was the higher parts of the bacon and pepperoni got severely burnt which gave the pizza a charred flavor. This was a great spot for a casual Friday night dinner! We came at around 8pm, so at the tail end of the dinner rush. We were able to sit right down without a wait, and though the service was pretty slow for the amount of people there, our server was very friendly and we had an overall positive experience. We got the corkscrew breadsticks to start, and they were delicious -- not super greasy, and had the perfect amount of crisp and softness. You could tell the dipping sauce was made in-house, it very much had a "fresh tomato" taste. As for the pizza... WOW, loved it. I mean, look at the cheese! It had thinner crust (which I love) and a very rich flavor with all the toppings. It was greasier than the breadsticks, but honestly I'm a sucker for that... My good friend and I came in on a Saturday the "Bengals" won, the place was not packed, but it not huge several small tables and one large enough for 8. We got a couple drinks and some very yummy smoked wings. The wings come with a cup of the selected sauce. Since we ordered 20 we got one of each. Garlic parmigiana, BBQ, Mild and Hot. I didn't try the mild or hot but the other two were very good. The drinks were tasty and the service was excellent. Parking is street parking only, so try to find something.
