Fun rooftop experience. Located on top of the Homewood Suites in Newport. There is a parking garage available. They offer craft cocktails and light bites. You can catch good views of the Cincinnati skyline. The charred pineapple guacamole was a very flavorful twist on an old favorite. It is reasonably priced with friendly service.

Awesome new rooftop! Located in Newport, High Note has beautiful downtown views with awesome drinks and a great selection of lighter bites! I was dying to stop in and it didn't disappoint! Jessica was our amazing bartender, but the whole crew was great. I recommend trying the Twilight Shimmer for a fun and flirty drink with sparkle! Next time we will make sure to leave room for food since it all looked so good! Can't wait to go back!

Never open when they are supposed to. Close kitchen without notice. Overpriced. Would not recommend.

Very understaffed - and this was during a slow time. Would hate to see it before a concert/game.

From the moment I sat down at the bar, owner Matt and the bartenders made me feel genuinely welcome. They took the time to learn my name, offer recommendations, and check in throughout the evening without ever being overbearing. It's a rare gift to make a solo guest feel seen while still giving them space to enjoy their own company. The food was outstanding. I ordered the baked brie with the honeycomb (trust me, get the honeycomb) and every bite was delicious. The combination of warm brie, puff pastry, honey, and nuts was incredible. Matt's wine recommendation was equally spot on. What impressed me most, though, was the atmosphere. Ripple strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated and comfortable. Whether you're on a date, catching up with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet evening alone, you'll feel right at home. I arrived as a first-time guest and left feeling like a regular. Covington is lucky to have this place. I'll definitely be back.

It's amazing and fun to watch the chef and people coming in and what they order from above! We had their Spanish flatbread which is very tasty and yummy. We also had their beef Wellington popovers, which is delicious! For main course i had salmon and husband had their Mac & cheese. All great, no complains! Very happy! Just surprised that they serve everything use one-time plate which is a little unusual for this type of place. We didn't had dessert but I'm sure it will be great too! This place is a little gem in Covington with lots of wine selection too, and it's 1st floor is bar and 2nd floor mostly restaurant, of course, we drink while we eating too! It's a nice find!

I've made my way through the entire menu (food and drinks), and there honestly isn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. Everything is consistently spot on every single time. That kind of reliability is hard to find, and it's exactly why I keep coming back. That said, a few personal favorites stand out. The goat cheese flatbread appetizer is a non-negotiable. It's the kind of dish you order "for the table" but secretly don't want to share. The cacio e pepe and pasta rustica are also incredible and always hit. As for drinks, the seasonal espresso martini is always a go-to and never disappoints. But my personal favorite is either the regular old fashioned or, when I'm feeling myself, the wagyu old fashioned... especially if Scott is behind the bar. He clearly knows what he's doing, and it shows. The service is always warm, attentive, and consistent, which makes the whole experience even better every time. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and a bartender who takes his craft seriously. I'll definitely be back (again...and again).

Braised short rib pasta was really good, would order again. dulce de leche tiramisu is nothing like tiramisu - i did not prefer it. salted caramel espresso martini was really good! Service was friendly and ambiance was fine but we were sat in front of the bar near the front door so it felt like we barely made it into the building lol.

Service wasn't the fastest, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out for me was the vegan menu. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The only downside was the garlic... and I mean seriously heavy. I smelled like garlic for a full 24 hours afterward, despite brushing, mouthwash, showering, and mints. Not subtle. Still, I'd order it again without hesitation. Worth it.

We had a Chardonnay and a Bellevue pizza along with an apple dessert pizza and some meatballs as an appetizer. The pizza was great. Generous toppings, nice sauces, thin but not crispy crust. The apple pizza was okay. Dare I say on par with CiCi's apple pizza, only smaller and much more expensive. The meatballs were tasty, decent marinara. But the balls were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was adequate. The dining room was comfortable. We found street parking right in front. Not sure if they have a lot. Overall, the move from three to four stars was the pizza. A little pricey, but worth it.

What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. With limited nightly seatings and every dinner table doing the tasting menu there's a sort of orchestrated flow that permeates the space. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. All told, a lovely experience and one worth repeating--and not just because the menu changes every season.
