I was a little uncomfortable waiting for the food because their air conditioner was out and it was very warm in the small waiting area but I would definitely return for their food! Tasty, quick, Chinese takeout. It is exactly as advertised. It is Chinese. It is takeout-there is nowhere to sit, so you are picking up and taking home. That equals delicious. The portions are ample and the preparation is always consistent. The best veggie roll in the city-such great seasoning! I highly recommend the hot and sour soup as well as the lo mein. I've been a satisfied customer of China Wok for nearly 10 years. Quality is still excellent, in the context of this casual, shopping-center hole in the wall with low prices. The lunch (served until 3:30 pm) is up to $6.25 now, but still a great value. Unless you have a huge appetite, you will probably get two meals out of it. They also have some of the best Covid distancing I've seen anywhere, with the kitchen area completely sealed off with plexiglass from the customer area. Every time I carry out the food is always hot and fresh. It's delicious!! If in the area try them. Lacking in English a bit depending on who takes your order. Call in or walk in. No sit down, except to wait on your food. Unless you wait in your vehicle so your clothes won't engulf the food smells. They are very reasonable in cost. Lunch can run you under $10 with a drink. Terrible! I got the combination plate with bourbon chicken eggroll, fried rice, and crab ragoons. The chicken tasted funny and seemed as if it was precooked. I've ate here on one occasion before and the food was okay, nothing special. I just attempted to order from them via phone because Chung Ching is closed until 5:00pm. I asked for the Kung Pao shrimp. He asked which one I wanted, and I asked him what were the options to which he responded clearly, "if you don't know what you want you need to order in person". I explained I did know what I wanted I just didn't know the size/price options. I was having difficulty understanding him (not because of his accent but because it was noisy and he was being very short with me). The plus side to here is they have online ordering, they're quick, and the place is clean...Oh and the food is pretty inexpensive. So you ask why I am giving it 3 stars...? Well, I got the Beef Lo Mein and it had absolutely no flavor!! I used about 4 packs of soy sauce to give it some kind of taste. BUT my 3 coworkers I went with loved their food and said it was full of flavor...another reason for 3 star review and not a 2. This is one of those places I can't say is good or bad. Its just ok. They are friendly and fast. My husband and I only eat seafood meat wise so we are always looking for good tofu dishes. While we thought the crab rangoon was delicious the general tso's tofu was a bit on the watery side and the tofu chunks were too large. After about 25 mins (about how long we though it would take to get the food delivered), they called and said they won't deliver to us. Quick, tasty, good customer service, and good prices (college student).

There is no other way to say it the food is great! The resturant looks like a little to go joint only but does have a small dining area. As far as the food goes the portions area huge so well worth the price and it tastes great. My son's got plain lomein and sweet and sour chicken and both were very flavorful and well balanced. The chicken was cooked just right so it was not soggy at all just light and crispy. I had the General Tso Shrimp and the sauce had just the right balance and was not so spicy that it was inedible like I have had from some places before, it was a subtle heat. My wife had the cashew chicken and I have to say it had a lot of veggies and cashews to go with the huge chucks of chicken. Also the veggies were cooked just right where they were still crispy and still had the flavor of the vegetable instead of just being over powered by sauce. Needless to say one of the best Chinese restaurants we have had since we moved to Ohio, we will definately be back. read more
