I heard Hong Kong Wok delivered and decided to give them a try based on their Yelp reviews. My order consisted of 3 egg rolls, steamed dumplings, a large egg drop soup, large bourbon chicken with white rice, and large shrimp lo mein. I was quoted a price of $30.65, which included a $3 delivery fee. The delivery time was consistent with the 30-minute timeframe quoted during the ordering process. Also, each dish provided hearty portions that could have fed 3-4 people. The highlights of my order were the egg rolls and egg drop soup. Both were still hot upon delivery and were the tastiest part of my meal. Unfortunately, those were the only positives of my order. The rest of the food items were cold and probably sat in the restaurant for a few hours before being delivered. Both the shrimp lo mein and bourbon chicken were not very appetizing and dark in complexion. The bourbon chicken lacked the bourbon flavor. Based on the complexion and non- flavor, I'm guessing a lot of soy sauce was used. The same can be said to describe the shrimp lo mein. My steamed dumplings were dried out and cold. The filling was bland and didn't taste like beef. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with my Hong Kong Wok experience, and probably won't give them another chance when I come home for vacation and have a Chinese craving.

Walking in you will see nick-nacks for sale (glass figurines, etc) on the counter, and the fixtures look a little old, but clean. The staff are friendly, the food is good. I eat here an average of twice every two weeks. Prices are reasonable. The best part (in my opinion) is the FRIED RICE. I searched DOZENS of restaurants trying to find fried rice cooked with THICK SOY. This gives the rice a dark brown, slightly sweeter taste. (I'm living in Ohio, but from Massachusetts. ALL the American Chinese food restaurants use the thick soy back home The only thing I'm missing are "Fall River Chow Mein Noodles" which are a regional thing.) The ONLY minor thing I can think of is that I find Boneless Pork Ribs better when dry and slightly burned VS covered in a sauce, but that's an extremely minor comment and NOT a complaint.

I ordered the Sizzling Beef with Vietnamese Baguette from their specials menu, along with a taro milk tea. The special dish arrived sizzling hot. The beef and meatloaf were delicious, the salad vegetables tasted fresh, and the bread seemed freshly toasted. The presentation of the dish was also excellent for the price. However, I felt that the portion size of meat was a little disappointing. For a $17 meal, I expected a bit more meat. One thing that really upset and frustrated me was the unreasonable long wait for my taro milk tea. It wasn't served until after I had already finished my meal, even though I reminded both my waitress and another waiter. It was just a plain taro milk tea without any toppings or boba, so I was confused about why it had to take so long. I understand that weekends can be busy, but it still didn't make sense for such a simple drink to take longer than my entire meal. To their credit, they ended up not charging me for the taro milk tea. However, the experience left me with a bad impression that ordering a boba drink here could take forever or possibly be forgotten altogether. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but if you're planning to order a boba drink and are in a rush, this is not the best place. The taro milk tea tasted good though, so I'd probably order again when I have plenty of time to spare.

We noticed this Vietnamese restaurant as we left jungle Jim's grocery store so we decided to eat here because it was close by. We visited on Saturday, the 22nd of August 2026. FOOD -- Classic Vietnamese favourites such as the Bah Mi, Egg rolls, beef stew or beef pho, etc. What I ordered: -- (3/5) stars Banh Mi Sandwich (Banh Mi Thit Nuong) -- listed as S1 on the menu -- Grilled Pork ($9.50). The banh Mi sandwich was good but the bread was slightly hard and some parts of the pork meat was tough to eat but overall, it was an edible lunch. -- (4/5) stars Summer Roll / Goi Cuon (listed as A03 on the menu) - contains shrimp, pork, vermicelli, and vegetables wrapped in soft rice paper. The summer roll tasted refreshing especially being dipped in the provided sauce which I think was a peanut sauce. My friend and I split the summer roll so I got one and she got one. A slightly warm summer roll would have tasted even better but eating it cold is good too. The pork didn't taste as fresh. -- (5/5 stars) Nuoc Mia Tuoi ($7.50) - an absolutely refreshing sugar cane drink with kumquat (a type of lime) - I ordered this without pineapple and orange because the waitress told me that the traditional Vietnamese way to drink this sugarcane drink is just with the sugarcane and kumquat. I really enjoyed the sugar cane drink even though it was slightly too sweet because sugarcane is sweet. At least there are no added and artificial sugars in the drink. It is all natural sugar. While I was only visiting Cincinnati for the weekend, if I lived here, I could definitely see myself coming to eat at Pho District again. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 185/250 total reviews in 2026 - 1026 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 3 September 2026

The shrimp quality was good, just not that many and the sauce very watered down. 1 star for the hot and sour soup. Extremely watered down, hardly any tofu, no meat, 5 stars for the egg roll.
