We used to go to Szechuan Garden and that was our go to Chinese restaurant. However, they close down and ever since then we've been sad. But our sadness is no more. Asian place was very nice on the inside and the lady who took my order was so genuine and sweet. We ordered takeout and it was a large order and everything was perfect And the people really enjoyed the food. We got the crab Rangoon. We got the chicken on a stick we got the chicken lo mein. We got the fried and steamed dumplings. And everything was on point. Please support this place because we gotta keep them in business because they are awesome. I checked this restaurant out this evening -- a pleasant, clean building, plenty of parking, pleasant staff, relaxed, low-key atmosphere. The food was great -- very fresh. And I love that they offer brown rice as an option!! I got the lettuce wrap -- the chicken was moist and tender. And the General Tso's chicken was very good, well-coated chicken, fresh vegetables. I have been coming here regularly for lunch for the past year and 9 times out of 10 it hits the spot. Quick service, especially Togo. Warning FOOD IS HOT. Friendly employees, great portion sizes. This place is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the tri-state. It is so good I almost want to give it a bad review so it won't get over crowded. All the dishes are great and they will customize them to your tastes. Service is fast and very friendly - they remember customers. Only downside is parking which is not their fault but only one handicapped spot in the parking lot and numerous reserved spots for other businesses - and we know about the predatory towing companies in N KY. Okay, lots to cover here. First, the good: Their hot and sour soup is maybe the best I have ever had - and I have had a lot (Chinese, Thai, etc.). Their bathroom (Men`s anyway) was very clean!! Clean by any standard, but (and I hate to paint with a broad brush) the cleanest of any Chinese restaurant I have ever visited. The service was really good - and that`s saying a lot in this time of pandemic and the related labor shortage. The Kung Pow chicken was, unexpectedly and disappointingly for me, fried. I`m used to this dish being stir fried. It was very tasty, but also very salty! I`ll try to remember and ask that they don`t add MSG (if they do) or use less salt. Lastly, the pork egg roll was absolutely nothing to write home about. It was thin, had no/few bean sprouts, little meat, and when I turned away the plum sauce (because, as I said, I don`t do hot mustard), I never was given plum sauce w/o the hot mustard. Summary: I`ll be back. If nothing else for the hot and sour, and to try other soups! I`d like to try other dishes that I consider staples. I have high hopes, despite some minor disappointments. read more

I placed an order for veggie Lo Mein, King Po Chicken Fried rice. Kung Po chicken was all breading. It looked and tasted like it was frozen and warmed in a microwave ---same thing with the Lo Mein. There was hardly any chicken in the fried rice. The total bill was $55. I've had a few experiences like this here. I stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner. I had the beef with mixed vegetables. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. My server made sure that my drink stayed full and checked back a couple of times with me to see if everything was alright. We really enjoyed our dinner at Asian Place last night. I see the old Eastern Panda reviews get lumped together which is unfortunate. What impressed us the most when we entered Asian Place was how clean it was. Their beautifully embroidered tablecloths look so neat and pressed, it was impressive how it gave you a sense that there was attention to detail by its owners. We came here on a snowy Friday night. I thought they were slow since we were the only diners for a few minutes, then we noticed a constant stream of people coming in and out for their to go orders. My wife and myself ordered "tapas-style" having several appetizers for dinner, and shared a soup and entree. We had their shrimp spring roll, fried chicken wings and lettuce wraps which were really good and flavorful. We really liked the chicken wings - not your typical American spicy, messy wings rather breaded with a unique Asian twist to it. My wife thinks it had 5 spice and anis in it. We loved it. I think we could've asked for white rice and stopped their but new we wanted to try more stuff. We had their seafood soup which was steaming hot - perfect for a cold snowy night. It's like an egg drop soup with loads of seafood in it. Then we had the Beef Udon noodles as our entree which was also very good. The flavors they had have been a bit different from other Asian Chinese restaurants we've been to. The lady who served us was very attentive, hospitable and helpful. She made us very welcome. They have been in business for 7 months now thus wish them the best. We hope they stay consistent and hope the place stays clean and inviting as the months and years come. My wife and I are fans. My favorite local Chinese restaurant. They have re-vamped the restaurant since coming in a couple years back, and produce the most consecutive meals in town. Love their fried dumplings, great soup and they will spice up any of your favorites to just your taste. Have missed them sorely during virus times. Will be excited when they get back. read more

This is now on my rotation to visit. I goto the gym at Better Bodies and stop once or twice a week. I was never a fan of Eastern Panda but this new management/owner is great. The service is great and the owner (Eileen i believe it is) really seems to care. They made some coconut shrimp and gave me for free also which was very nice. The best part though is if you sit in they make these very beautiful decorative birds, butterflys, etc. which I love. I think it's a nice touch which sets it apart from the other Chinese restaraunts around, plus it's very clean. Smile, cleanliness and little extra perks I rate this as my new favorite Chinese takeout. I really enjoyed the Crystal Chicken. The brown rice was actually perfect also! I live right up the street from this place and I think it's great! The food is always good quality and fast. I can call for carryout, get in my car and by the time I get there it's ready for pick-up in less than 10 minutes. The price is not bad either. Lunch is usually around $5, which I found really cheap and dinner is around $10. Some may not like dining in. My first experience with Eastern Panda was dining-in and I'll admit I was a little set-back by the torn booth seats, crumbling wallpaper. Don't judge a book by it's cover, though!
