I am a big fan of King Eggroll. I got hooked on these because my wife took me here to pick some up (while we were still dating). I've been hooked ever since. I've been to the one on Lundy and there is also another one in Newark called "New" king eggroll. Same Family. Menu is pretty much the same across the board. Whenever I have a party, I get my stuff from here. Picnic to go to, I get my stuff from here. Go here. I recommend it. And yes, it is fried so don't expect any culinary greatness here. Bad experience I had today. I usually go in only when im placing a BIG order. The first time I went in I was standing in line and when I reached to the cashier she told me very nicely that next time to just go to the cashier and no need for me to wait in line to place an order. So I went in today to make another big order and not only I waited almost 10 minutes when the guy cashier was done helping the customer that was there after me he completely ignored me and I told him "I'm sorry but I was here first" he gave me attitude and said "sorry lady but if you're gonna order you need to get in line". As soon as he saw me he didn't even ask "may I help you?" or "do you need to place an order?" He just completely ignored me and was very rude. Great place authentic Asian food!! I went in particularly for egg rolls which I was a bit disappointed in with the taste but the other two items I got were delicious. The egg rolls weren't as great as I expected, I was told by an aunt that she gets egg rolls from King egg roll maybe she gets them from a different location there in San Jose. Well anyways I went ahead and took 24 egg rolls at a great price for $21.00 and I also took an awesome delicious pork fried rice small tray for $12.00 my family was delighted with the taste of the pork fried rice. My third item was broccoli beef which was indeed delicious as well. I'm definitely returning to try the rest of their selections. Looking forward to trying their orange chicken and definitely want to try their chicken chow mien. This review is for the frozen yogurt. At first, when I came here and saw the yogurt, I was extremely hyped to have some! After finishing my eggrolls and shrimpballs, I headed over to the frozen yogurt area. I asked (in English) one of the workers for samples, but she said, "No, we don't have samples." I was iffy on getting the yogurt because I thought it'd be watery..but I went for it anyway. As I was paying for the yogurt, I heard the worker say (in Vietnamese) to another worker, "Don't give out samples because then they will just eat off the samples and not want to buy the yogurt." WHAT THE HELL. I can understand, you know. The yogurt I had was, by far, the WORST I've had. It was runny, not to mention ICY. I got original tart, which was named "CREAMY." Ha, irony. I came in here a bit distraught because I feared there were no vegetarian options. The fried rice and chow mein was cooked with meat, so I couldn't order those, which pretty much eliminated any of the meal plates. I ordered a specialty item (chow fun) and asked to get it without meat. This has got to be the only place where you get somewhat of a clean Chinese restaurant with the blunt attitude of the workers. I do like to order the egg rolls in bulk when I come here although I would love to learn to make them.
