K'Far - Coffee - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

This is a wonderful spot for a night out or a lovely brunch. Gorgeous space and the Hoxton has a wonderful cafe area you can wait in. While everything was extremely aesthetic and nice the food wasn't quite as incredible as expected. Don't get me wrong, I've been thinking about the arayes and the sticky bun since I left. But everything else we ordered could have been executed a little better. The salad's were fine, I recommend the tuna if you're going to get one. The bagel was also good, but again nothing that blew us out of the water. Yet, overall would absolutely come back and try some other items (with the arayes of course). read more

My husband and I went to K'Far for a nice date night and it didn't disappoint! We've come for brunch before but I have to say dinner was just as incredible. Thanks impart by our server, Emma. She was knowledge, timed the meal so well and really showed good insight. 10/10 would come back again!! read more

The food at K'far Brooklyn was fine- some of it, Chumus and grilled artichokes was quite good. what I could not understand was in such a foodie driven place- cocktails that only purported to have alcohol. One of drinks, shaloma Paloma seemed to be watered down canned guava juice. When our table complained about the poor quality drinks 3 were quickly removed and replace with a different drink- however they chose to credit only one drink???? The ambiance was pleasant, though noisy - not much of a fun vibe. read more

Okay So decor i feel like I'm anywhere, hotel nothing Williamsburg about it. Super confused by staff they do not look like they belong in a trendy eatery. Food - brunch - eggs too undercooked Coffee super bitter read more

K'Far Cafe in Philadelphia is one of my favorite restaurants, but... dare I say... K'Far's Brooklyn location might be even better. I can't make a direct comparison since the Philadelphia location doesn't have dinner service, and I ate dinner at the Brooklyn location, but the breakfast/brunch offerings seem to be the same, and the dinner service was truly outstanding. It was very much a mix of dishes/cuisines that you'd probably find at Zahav and Abe Fisher in Philly, but with a twist and some unique menu offerings as well. The cod chraime might be the best fish dish I've ever eaten, and the chicken schnitzel was a show-stopper as well, with a crispy exterior that resembled the texture of kanafi. The chocolate kanafi itself was an amazing end to the meal, which also featured incredible service and a spectacularly decorated interior. K'Far is an absolute must-try! read more

My wife and I went to K'Far this past weekend to celebrate our 10yr anniversary and left placing this hidden gem in our top 5 all-time restaurants!!! As someone who travels the world for cuisine I have to say K'Far sits in the company of some of the world's best places to eat. The menu selection doesn't jump out at you but the taste and experience is an explosion of flavors with every selection. Light but filling, colorful yet not overbearing, complimentary wine pairings and best of all, the service was exemplary. We were waited on by Richard and Rasheed and what was most surprising is the celebratory dessert at the end of the evening came without them even knowing how important of an evening it was for my wife and I. In the sea of options that Brooklyn has to offer I suggest you set sail toward this treasure of a destination! Chicken Schnitzel Halibut Braised Cabbage Skirt Steak read more

Great service. Great renditions of mid Easter food. Best schnitzel ! Interesting sides. Hummus was beyond fab.

The vibes, hospitality, and food here are immaculate. The Jerusalem Bagel is a must for a savory bite. The Pistachio Sticky Bun was phenomenal, and the Apple Babka was the tastiest apple-anything I've ever had. The Fig & Pomegranate Ricotta Kubaneh was the star of the show. read more

Everything is delicious. Nice decor, great service. If you are lucky you can find parking nearby too.

Phenomenal service by Josue! We were here for work and with us being out of town it's always hard to find a great place to eat with matching service. Josue was extremely patient with explaining the menu, answered all of our repetitive questions and gave great recommendations. This is my 2nd time in NY and with a busy lifestyle here it's hard getting great service. Thank you Josue! read more

Great Mediterranean food options and good coffee. The Tunisian salad was excellent, the hummus and pita bread and the sesame bagel were outstanding. The rogulach pastry was also amazing The shakshukah was good but a bit runny - could have been cooked a bit more for those that prefer it like that read more

Loved this place. So pretty inside. Even the waiting area was a vibe. We ordered a big platter for two and it was perfect! I would definitely return :) read more

I want to Gatekeep this one but too late. Awesome spot. If you enjoy the taste of zaatar this is the place

I really wanted to love it with all the hype. Came in from Manhattan early morning and my husband being Israeli we were expecting a modern traditional breakfast and instead got some extremely Americanized low quality food. We were surprised knowing the Chef has spent years in Israel and is well educated on good Israeli food this was just a disappointment. The Jerusalem bagel was limit stale, the egg inside was rubbery. The Kubaneh toast was not actually kubaneh it was just a piece of toast. The merguez was a thin piece of smashed meat. We ordered the pistachio bun which was the only thing that was okay. The service is great and the hotel is stunning but I find this restaurant to be deceiving for what it's advertising. read more

A little pricey but delicious food! Pita was warm and fluffy, tuna sandwich was great, and definitely dont skip the sticky bun for dessert

Egg and cheesey wasnt good , patty melt was amazing but a little cold , ok Experience overall

Great food and amazing service. Staff was very friendly and the ambience was perfect. Will definitely go again

I unfortunately did not get any photos but I still wanted to write a review because my experience was that great. It was late brunch and 6 of us decided last minute to go out to eat. We saw this place was near by and had brunch but we knew it was going to be a wait at this time for 6 people - we didn't mind. Right away the hostess was honest and said she can sit us right away if we wanted but because of the volume of people at the moment a server won't be by right away. We didn't mind, thinking okay probably 40 mins of talking time. Someone came by right away with water, great. Within 20 minutes someone came over and we ordered drinks, awesome! Again, within 5 minutes drinks came! Service was fast from the start and our server was very knowledgeable. Even our food came out fast which was very shocking, but no complaining ;) We didn't have to wait long for anything like we expected. Excellent service! The food was absolutely delicious and that is why there are not photos. Everyone devoured their plates. 2 patty melts and 4 Shakshukas with merguez. I wanted to order another dish personally. From start to finish everything was wonderful. I will return for their dinner and take photos. Gorgeous seating area and ambiance! read more

I came here to celebrate my son's birthday . The place is beautiful and the food and presentation was delicious. When I made the reservation, I let them know that we were celebrating my son's birthday and I wanted to get a dessert and sing happy birthday. I mentioned it again when I got to the restaurant. Also, when booking online there was a space to list any allergies so I listed that my son had nut allergies. This is where I found the service to be sloppy. When we ordered, my son asked if one of the dishes contained nuts, and the waiter asked at that point if anyone had allergies. If my son didn't ask, I'm pretty sure he wouldn't of said anything, and I specifically listed it when I made the reservation online. When we finished our main course the waiter brought our check without even asking if we want desert or coffee. I told him that we want dessert and he just said "oh sure" He made no recognition of my son's birthday nor did he bring a candle I would go back but I would make my expectations clearer... if that's possible. read more

Came here for my birthday brunch and it was one of the best experiences - both for a birthday and for brunch. The food is beyond terrific, recommend getting as much as possible and have everyone share. The staff was so nice and attentive. I think they messed up 1 small thing with our order, but everything else was so terrific can't remember what it was, they took it off our bill I remember that. Very lively and fun space definitely good for a group and celebration. read more

We sat in the glass atrium - lovely. The food was excellent, better than the other 2 places in the hotel. Though I think the tuna tartare is the same as Jaffa and too spicy. Faves were the hangar steak and mushroom hummus. Service was solid as well read more

This restaurant is spectacular, sublime, unbelievable, and every word that means relatively the same thing. Everything from the service (shout out to Erin!) to the Manhattans to the leg of lamb, cod chraime, fingerling potatoes, basmati rice, green salad, hummus appetizer (an absolute must, trust me), to the sweet garlic sauce for the lamb was all of the superlatives in the preceding sentence. I'm being serious when I say that this might be my favorite dinner in the entire city--all five boroughs. Five stars, but only because Yelp won't let me go higher. read more

Unbelievable quality of food. I've had many types of Mediterranean/middle eastern dishes, but never with this level of complexity in the array of flavors and spices utilized by the chef. Every dish was new and exciting which is incredibly hard to do these days. Drinks were excellent. Service was excellent and accommodating. My wife wasn't sure about her drink so they let her try one with an offer to change if she didn't like. That was impressive to me and we'll appreciated. The ambiance is great. Bohemian lounge feeling (took me back to the Cayman's). If you have old aging eyes, be aware it gets quite dim when night settles to maintain that absolutely mellow vibe. Music was eclectic ranging from modern to 90's rap. It's below ground with a deep staircase and thankfully there's an elevator for the elderly/disabled. Dedicated changing room for babies in both men and women's bathrooms. Absolutely excellent experience and I can't wait to go back. read more

Just everything was great here! Brunch & the Ambiance, Perfect! & the Borekas so tasty! We will definitely come back for dinner next time.

Absolutely delicious food and really great service! I highly recommend. Meat was perfectly cooked and the hummus was amazing.

Rude Maitre'd and customer service. We made a reservation for my bday brunch specifically for the patio space. The host refused to seat us in that area and said it was a 3 hour wait even though we had reserved there and there was plenty of space. She made zero effort to accommodate, saving all the nice tables for larger groups and wasn't nice at all. We left and sat at Mogador instead who welcomed us. read more

Good food- Israeli style middle eastern and a relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed brunch here post wedding celebration with family.

I ordered an Old Fashioned with Angel's Envy Rye and it was $26. It was wonderful, so I thought it was worth the high price. Tonight I ordered the exact same drink and it was $32.99. If you are over 30 years old, you will be charged more . read more

Had one of my best breakfasts at this place. When I realized this place is located within a hotel I was a little concerned, but neither food nor service suffered in any way. I tried both the Latkes with smoked salmon and the avocado kubaneh, and both were delicious. Notice that K'Far is the regular seated restaurant, not to be mistaken by the bakery/cafe adjacent to it. The menu includes some items that can also be purchased from the bakery/cafe, so I bought some of those from the bakery to go. They were tasty as well. read more

They're still a bit disorganized so lose a point for the service. That said, the food was great. We loved the patty melt kubaneh, boureka, and Caesar salad. The chraime was delicious but actually tasted better when we ate the leftovers later that night. Can't wait to come back for one of the sweets! read more

Highly recommend. Went for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. There is a bar/cafe are as well as full dining room with a great ambiance. The staff was super helpful. Our hostess Arianna was so kind and welcoming. She told us all her favorite dishes and what was a must try. Our server Christian was amazing. He gave also gave us recommendations and answered all our questions about the menu. He was incredibly nice, attentive, and made our experience there. We tried everything he recommended (Tuna Crudo, Lamb Tartare, Halibut) and the food was delicious. I'll be back for dinner and definitely want to try their brunch soon :) read more

The space is absolutely gorgeous and the service was great! The food came quickly and they didn't rush us at all. I absolutely ADORE the Philadelphia location's food and was so excited for a location in Brooklyn. Sadly, the food was not up to par with the original Philly spot. We still liked it, but the egg and cheese Jerusalem bagel was way over-toasted (almost burned) and the rugelach (my absolute favorite from Philly) was super dry. I literally went to the Philly location the day after coming to the Brooklyn one, and the rugelach was sooooo moist, so I know it was not my imagination. I'm hoping this is growing pains as a new location and I definitely want to come back for lunch or dinner! I'll just have to stick to weekend Philly trips for the life-changing pastries. read more
