    Falafel Bowl
    Karina R.

How could I have missed this place? Back in Manhattan. A small size location on Broadway. First time I had ordered from NAYA. Salad bowls with falafels and some couscous. The usual. Sometimes I just order only falafel. They are so GOOD. I can't believe NAYA is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Excited about that. If you are into Falafel, grape leaves, couscous, or in general something healthy with proteins-this is the place. NAYA has everything from salad bowls to wraps or maybe you just want to grab some grape leaves on the go. The service is good. Very clean location and bigger than the one from Manhattan. The place is. Rey chilled not loud if you intent to stay to eat.

Pros: - I got Lamb Shwarma and Chicken Shawarma bowls with Vermicelli Rice, Hummus, Baba Ghannouj, Toum (Garlic Whip), Romaine Lettuce, Tomatoes, Sumac Onions, Feta Cheese, Lebanese Pickles, Cabbage Slaw, Pickled Turnips, Kalamata Olives, and all topped with Lemon Tahini non-spicy sauce. Everything was fresh and delicious! My hubby got the Falafel bowel with Tri-Color Quinoa with all the toppings, which was my favorite. Love that Naya provides unlimited toppings, such a perk! - Ideal location right on Bedford between 5th and 6th streets. - Great space- long layout with high ceilings. There are tables for eating at the front. - Staff were friendly and attentive. Cons: - The A/C may not have been working because it was a sauna inside so we were glad we didn't eat on-site.

Passed by today and noticed they opened. They definitely grabbed my attention with their table filled with goodies. In order to spin the wheel, a purchase will have to be made. Since I just ate, I got grape leaves for a snack afterwards. The grape leaves were fresh and soft. After the wheel, I won a free entree! Yay! The inside is so cute and bright with a couple of tables in the front. They also had free lemonade and coffee for sampling. The set up of the table was so cute and welcoming. I'm always in this area and cant wait to try their entree next time. The restaurant is so close to the main area on Bedford Ave. It's in between the L train station and Whole Foods.

I totally forgot how I event came across Naya but I'm so glad I did. They're fresh take on Mediterranean food it's very refreshing. As over the years it feels like a lot of companies who serve certain Mediterranean dishes have lost the essence taste and quality of the food. They bring it back. I love coming to any location and grabbing food. Always delish when I'm on the go !

I order from Naya in Williamsburg at least once a week and it never misses. I always go for the chicken bowl, fully loaded -- they pack it to the rim every time. The portion is super generous, the flavors are bold and fresh, and it seriously hits perfectly for lunchtime. Delivery is fast and always arrives just right. If you're craving something hearty, flavorful, and consistent, this is the move. Highly recommend.

Good portions and service. Popped in to grab a few bowls and they were both generous and quick with my order. I'd come back!

Went to Sawa for dinner with a group of six on a Friday night, and it was a great dinner. When you…read morewalk in, you are immediately greeted by a giant oven baking fresh pita as well as an open kitchen. There is also an outdoor dining area, as well as a mid-sized dining room and we were seated near the window. Sawa serves Lebanese cuisine with some more modern dishes. Additionally, they have a mostly Lebanese wine list, which gave us an opportunity to try some new wines. We ordered both a red and a white for the table, and I was especially drawn to the red, as the red was served chilled, light-bodied, and very enjoyable. Nearly all of the reds and whites on the menu are from Lebanon, with just one red from Morocco, plus a couple sparkling options from Lebanon as well. We started with several dips for the table: hummus, baba ghannouj, and muhammara. The hummus was incredibly smooth, and the muhammara was especially flavorful with large pieces of walnut throughout. Everyone at the table receives fresh pita, and we ended up ordering a few more to share. We also shared the Brussels sprouts and the snap peas. The Brussels sprouts were rich and flavorful, but the snap peas really stood out. They were unlike anything I have tasted before, intensely mint, served with garlic mint labneh, and very delicious. For mains, we focused on lamb: two orders of the lamb ribs, two orders of the kafta, and two orders of the sfeeha. We probably over-ordered by about one entrée, but otherwise it was the right amount of food for six people. The lamb ribs were phenomenal, fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. The lamb pies were also very good and came with a delicious dipping sauce. The kafta was good, though not quite as memorable as the other lamb dishes, but still very satisfying. Service was attentive throughout the meal, and despite the number of dishes on the table, the staff handled everything smoothly. The table got a little crowded at times, but it was manageable. I would absolutely recommend Sawa, especially for anyone who enjoys trying something a little different. They do classic Lebanese dishes very well, while also offering some creative dishes that feel unique and memorable. I am already looking forward to going back.

I have a lot of Pros so i'm gonna start with really the only con. Con: it was pretty loud in the main room. Food: the Dorade and lamb meatballs were both awesome, the Chicken and Saffron butter was great as well. If youre gettting the pita and mezze, get more pita than you'd expect. It's some of the beg pita our family had ever had. The hummus was great but the babaganoush was killlerrrrr. My family had a field day on the syrian cheese and hot honey. I loved the grape leaves and charred eggplant. For dessert, ordered the tiramisu, date sticky pudding, and the rhubarb tart. The date sticky pudding was kind of like a date brownie and the toffee topping was insane. It was so rich and potent. tiramisu was good, but we could have done another Tart. It was so vibrant and refreshing, it was the first to go and if we wouldn't have already been stuffed, we would have ordered another. Service was great, and very accommodating. I can't have sesame seeds, and they took it off of everything we ordered, no mistakes there and much appreciated!

I feel like the prices here are too expensive to justify the quality. My favorite thing was the babaganoush. Also, the service is not great. It feels like the staff haven't been trained properly. There were times that our waitress seemed lost and didn't know what she was doing. We had to ask other wait staff questions to get proper answers. Also, don't advertise a special menu on Opentable and give people the option to reserve the menu when you aren't offering it. Came here for latkes and caviar for NYE since it said it was on the menu when I reserved on Opentable. Got there and was told they only served it during Hannuka Hanukkah. Checked their IG and they were still posting they were serving it. Total let down.

The table-side hummus was very standard hummus, and the table-side experience didn't add much. The baba ganoush was pretty good, however. I didn't love the pomegranate seeds, but they kind of just got in the way and made it harder to eat. The prawn risotto was decent, but again, nothing really blew me away. The service was great, and the ambiance inside was great as well, but due to the food just lacking much personality, I will not be returning.

It came out warm and tasted so fresh. Service: Service was excellent. Staff were welcoming and friendly. They were attentive and constantly came around to fill our water. Ambiance: There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is a good size with many tables to accommodate both large and small groups. Seating is comfortable, and the ambiance is nice. On a Friday evening, my friend and I came in as walk-ins and got a spot at the bar. The space is a bit tight, but it works if you don't make a reservation ahead of time. I was pretty hungry, and everything we ordered was more than enough food. To start, we had the Whipped Ricotta ($14), Muhammara ($14), and Chicken Shawarma Hummus ($18). Absolutely loved every dip, which were all different in its own ways that I can't even choose a favorite. The ricotta was a sweet one that gave a nice contrast from the savory spices of the other two. I liked how much chicken they added for the hummus too, so you're getting almost a whole meal. You'll definitely need extra pita for all this, which does fill you up. We did also get a Radicchio Salad ($19) for some greens plus a Beef Kofta Skewer ($20) for some meat. Both of these dishes were solid, but could pass on them next time. Definitely recommend any of the mezze and hummus here; it's all you need. This is a really great date spot or group dinner. Perfect to have a drink or two while enjoying some pita and dips mostly.

I thought it would be quite heavy but when paired with the pita bread it was just right - light and fluffy with a light drizzle of honey made it a great ricotta - however, ive had better ricotta before at theodora lamb shawarma ($20) - i wasn't expecting it to be a dip but it was delicate and delicious anyways - this is probably my fav dish out of all 3 - the dip was strong and smooth; tasted unique but not anything too impressive either - the lamb was super tender but it was quite strong; i dont think people would've been able to handle it if theyve never had lamb before rating: 4/5 - everything we ordered was good and the quality is definitely there so it's a solid 4 but nothing really stood out - ive had better and more innovative dips elsewhere - the vibe is cute though!
