I was a bit deterred by the dim blue lighting that gave the restaurant more of a club vibe than one of a good restaurant, but the flavors don't lie. I also learned they are very proud of their non-alcoholic cocktail menu, and want to curate a club-like atmosphere for their largely muslim customer base who does not drink alcohol. I tried the pina colada, their most popular cocktail, and while it was much too sweet for my palate, I could see most people enjoying their extensive list of mocktails. If I return, I'd opt to have more of their delicious curries. I was most imrpessed by the madras crab curry, something I've never seen on other menus. The bagara baingan (eggplant curry) was equally as flavorful and a great match with their goat cheese naan and buttery rice. Ordered quite a few items off Doordash: Chicken Vindaloo Chicken Tikka Madala Tandoori Broccoli Veggie Samosa Garlic Naan Rice The Veggie Samosa and Garlic Naan were the best part of this meal. The tandoori broccoli wasn't cooked all of the way and it had ZERO flavor. It comes with a lemon wedge but that doesn't add much to it. The chicken vindaloo also had no flavor too it it was just spicy that's it. If a dish is going to burn my mouth I at least want it to have additional seasoning. The masala was average at best... It was a thicker sauce (bit unusual) and it tasted like butter/cream not the actual flavor of what it's supposed to be. Overall, this restaurant showed me that you cannot cheat on your usual spots. Everything was seasoned to perfection-the curries were creamy, luscious, and spice-filled. The naan was soft, light and rich. All the drinks were really refreshing, but the Smoking Mango Mojito stood out the most. The Chicken Pista Korma was a cashew pistachio based curry which was creamy, paired nicely with the naan. The Chili Olive Naan was quite unique but tasty - pillowy soft and buttery. The Goat Biryani (recommended by the owner) was aromatic, homey, and very delicious.
