Best of the best Italian Food. Delicious, tasty, and Healthy. Customer service was excellent, the waiter was very kind and accommodating. He gave me a taste of a few different wines, till I picked the best tasting one.
I've only had sandwiches at this cute little Williamsburg spot; but I am so happy every time I do! I think this such a comfortable and cute restaurant. It's perfect for small groups and pairs. The servers are always very kind and accommodating. And, again, the food is fresh and delightful. No doubt, I'll keep coming back!
This spot is truly spectacular. From the food to the neighborhood bar to the service, everything shines. I've been here countless times and will continue to come back, it perfectly blends the charm of a classic Italian neighborhood joint with a modern vibe. The owner, Claudio, is one of the most generous and genuine people we've met ,smart, friendly, and always bringing fresh ideas to the table. Every dish on the menu is executed flawlessly, and the entire staff makes you feel like family. Shoutout to Josh for always taking great care of us!
Received excellent service as we were deciding what to order - the Milanese chicken sandwich was recommend and he was good, I would have liked a bit more sauce but overall we both enjoyed it and it was enough to share for 2 people.
I'm actually not sure if Pecoraro is a holdover from the longtime Italian enclave in this part of Williamsburg or a new entrant, but in any case they serve some fire burrata and superb fried appetizers. My favorite dishes of the evening were the chickpea panelle - far more flavorful than the version I had at Ferdinand's in Cobble Hill, and perfectly paired with a bit of lemon juice - and the fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with white cheese (they graciously customized to skip the anchovies). I was actually slightly less crazy about the rigatoni dish I tried - the burrata was the star of the show, but the sauce was on the blander side. The vibe at dinner time is interesting and eclectic. Some families, dimly lit, and a bit quiet - ever so slight David Lynch vibes.
Service was generally nice with a good bit of sass. Every bite of food has its greatness, some more than others. You can never go wrong with fried chicken so anything 'Milanese' is a win. Portion sizes are for normal people that don't eat like trucks so sorry fellow greedy goblins. Prices are a bit high too and the overall aesthetic is pizza coffee shop. You'll like it. Not much more.
I'm always on the hunt for a good old fashioned American sandwich, but Pecoraro Latteria was a great adjacent. Apparently most if not all of the ingredients are sourced/imported from Italy! The combo panini and the burrata schiacciata are both quite hefty. The combo comes with a fat slice of mortadella and deliciously salty cured meats. However, the schiacciata was the star of the meal, with fantastic texture on the focaccia complimented by the creaminess of the burrata and juicy cherry tomatoes. The only small downside is that the side "salad" was extremely bitter. Despite being small, I didn't finish it. That aside, I'll definitely be coming back to try their other offerings and grab a Lavazza espresso while I'm at it.
if i were on death row and had one last meal, it would all come from this spot. everything is made with love and glitter and unicorns from the drinks, to the food, to the lovely staff who always make my day. vibes are always immaculate whether it's brunch, lunch, dinner, or happy hour. anyway i would die for everyone who works here. like actually. love you xoxo
This place must be new. No way they have so few reviews if they've been around for a bit! Every dish was great! The pesto was incredibly rich and they sold it in jars too. The chicken milanese was wonderfully crispy and well done. The tomatoes and buratta added to each bite as well. The Mediterranean fries were a bit strange. I enjoyed them though the seasoning both looked like and tasted like Doritos cool ranch flavor.

I probably have tried all their salads and a handful of paninis. Their menu isn't overwhelming, which makes it easy to make a decision. Service overall is timely and attentive.
Delicious Pasta but felt the serving size and cost for a mid week lunch was a bit over priced. Had to order a side of Focaccia to enjoy all the sauce with the dish as there wasn't enough noodles.
Such an aesthetically appetizing interior with no shortage of photo opps. I was running errands and was in need of a quick latte and luckily passed this place that also had lunch prepared items such as pizza and sandwiches. Latte was good and I'm curious to try their food items on the next visit. read more

'Pecoraro' means 'shepherdess' in Italian, and this charming place guided us through a range of courses and tastes. A hidden gem attached to the local factory that makes the cheese. It's similar to the best local places we've visited in Rome. Wife, the food critic in the family, had the "the best lasagna ever" but done in a unique way. My rigatoni had a unique pesto blend. The focaccia was a meal in itself and the Parmesan was baked not sprinkled. Jonathan the server gave clear explanations and recommendations. We took home a mozzarella ball fresh from next door. Fully enjoyed our food, again. Was slightly disappointed this time that the metro pizza was not on the menu nor did they offer to add hot honey, instead they have you purchase it for $14 of you really want it. (They also could purchase it for the kitchen and put it on the menu as an add on but I digress). It was a craving that needed to be satisfied so we got it and will have it for my every pizza moment, even if not from here. Def made a difference on the classic pepperoni pie. Our entrees were good, my husband wasn't full off of his meal though, the Lobster Girasoli ravioli special (5 pieces btw). Good thing we got the pizza too, but he was still alil hungry. I've had my dish before and it was just a good as before so no complaints on my end. read more

The paccheri stole the show. We also ordered the rice croquettes and burrata and weren't very impressed with those, but would return just for the pasta. read more
absolutely outstanding italian cuisine. their Paccheri pasta with calabrian chili vodka sauce was the star of the show. great service and intimate indoor dining too. we ate outside and it's on a perfect side street so you still have an intimate dining experience. the quality of the pasta and the sauce was very obvious, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. will be coming again! read more

3rd time coming back here. When I tell you EVERY SINGLE thing on the menu is so good. I eat out ALOT in New York from very high end restaurants to tiny hole in the wall places. Walked by this place and was drawn in by its cute styling. We just wanted a quick coffee and pastry and they had a couple in the window. We both ordered shaken espressos that were delicious!! I ordered a cookie as well and it was humongous. It was a great texture and soft. I really recommend this place! read more

So glad I traveled slightly out of the way to this little shop that's hidden between Williamsburg and Greenpoint. It's half restaurant, half coffee shop/deli style. It's a very cute and charming spot that I definitely recommend for casual lunch. It also has a full bar! They pack a lot into the small space. Only missing a star because Jack of all trades... master of none :) It's an amazing multi use space but because of that, it doesn't *exactly* feel like a restaurant, maybe more like a casual cafe? Regardless it is very nice and I highly recommend to anyone! Prices are more than fair for the quality and portions. The sandwich was huge! I ate half and saved the other half for dinner. So good even hours later! Cant wait to come back. read more

The food was tasty and fresh, I couldn't believe when they told me they make the cheese there, I looove cheese and it was very good, we also had a croissant filled with some vanilla cream or something. The service was great and the place was peaceful. read more

I spent hours trying to find a special italian restaurant for my sister's birthday dinner and as soon as I saw this place, I knew my search was over. It went above and beyond my expectations. The atmosphere is so pleasant - they sell specialty groceries in the front, which was fun to peruse while I waited for my group. Our server was so nice and there are so many exciting, unique options on the menu, such a breath of fresh air from the monotony of italian restaurants I often see in NYC. Lots of veg options as well. Most importantly, every dish was AMAZING. I got the paccheri, which I had to pace myself not to finish in one bite it was that good. We also got the fried calamari, burrata, fettuccine with bolognese and the fusilli with pesto and shrimp. Plates were licked clean. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients. I can't wait to go back to this place and highly recommend! read more

Hands down one of the best Italian restaurant I've been to in New York (and I've tried a lot)! Amazing food, relaxed casual vibe and friendly neighborhood service. Perfect, simple menu- they do what they do well: pastas, pizzas, and some other light fare. I've been on several occasions and the best dish in my opinion is the Paccheri pasta (regularly get it without the sausage as well). For pizzas would highly recommend the Leonard St (a divine pesto pizza) and the Margherita Estiva. The cheese is incredible, dough thin and the perfect balance of crisp and chewy. Other recs: Fennel Salad. You are missing out if you don't try one of their delicious desserts, the chocolate mousse (special not on the listed menu) is divine- mouth watering, tear inducing good. The limoncello mouse a close second, but don't sleep on the pistachio cake if that's up your alley. All the staff are super friendly- trust their recommendations and feel free to explore the menu! A great Italian grocer/cafe right in between Williamsburg and Greenpoint! Was out for a walk around the area and wanted to pick up something to eat for a late afternoon lunch. This place is a short walk from the Graham Avenue L station. I had the Chicken Milanese Panini and thought it was extremely good for the price ($16), very fresh ingredients and good bread. I ate at the counter and the staff gave great service, especially when it came to explaining the menu items. The ambiance is just right, not too loud, and the space feels open and well-designed--I loved the artwork on the walls! read more
