It's been over 10 years since the last time I've been to a Westville, and still a really solid brunch spot! I think what I liked the most was it wasn't particularly crowded so it was very comfortable for my group. The staff are super attentive and chill. For food, we shared the miso butter pancake, cheesey chicken arepa, and asparagus with parmesan. Overall, I thought the food was really good. Generally speaking, i have loved Westville in the past from their other locations--hudson square, west village, chelsea... all a similar but non-chain feel menu. When I heard they were coming to Williamsburg, I was overjoyed. Then i became fearful it would fall to the dreaded "line up down the street" setup. This is a new spot in Williamsburg and I adore it! The concept is fresh ingredients and I would say anticipate fresh decor, wonderful service and some really good food. I had the brunch bowl which was full of everything you could want especially if bouncing back after a fun weekend! I also got a side of the fries. Now you may think a fry is a fry is a fry...but these were so crispy crunchy on the outside soft and on the inside! Dippable and had that crunch! IFYYK! The hot toddy was perfect on the cold day. Not too sweet. I saw that people were picking up orders so seems you can order for pick up maybe delivery but dining in is a great vibe for sure. Came here after my daughter's gymnastics class. Family of 4, two adults two kids. Seated right away, but was asked if i had a reservation i said no then asked if i needed one she said no. Was seated at a stool table no problem my girls are big 7&11. So happy they had a kids menu lol so hard to enjoy brunch but you have your kids with you . Funny though neither child ordered from the kids menu. The young one had French toast omg so much food and delicious. The other one orders a cheeseburger came with fries. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, mainly because it had chorizo but he said there was hardly any inside the burrito. Nonetheless it was still delicious he said came with a big peace of avocado on top which he shared with me and i added it to my sandwich. The home fries were made with so much flavor so tasty. I got the brunch burger i think it was called. But wanted the egg on the side . Seemed like they forgot about it but it was brought out shortly . I had two mimosa and my husband had a Moscow mule i think . My burger was good but the sauce is on the side and it was kinda bland. I wish they had like a chipotle mayo or something like that would've def made it taste better, the bacon was to perfection. I personally hate bacon that the fat is hanging yuck lol . I loved Westville! We got seated after a 10-15 minute wait on a Sunday for brunch. The ambiance was really nice in the outside area - it was covered with a glass ceiling, so had great natural light. I got the breakfast burrito and potatoes - a huge serving size! I don't think any of us fully finished our meal. The side potatoes were delicious and had peppers and onions sautéed with them as well. My only negative was the mocha was SO SWEET but I think that just comes down to me not normally getting mochas. If you like your coffee sweet, it's probably for you! The carrot ginger soup was so good, creamy, ginger taste and westville Cobb was fulfilling. Music-rock,punk,soft rock was good and everyone seam to be having good convos. Staff was nice and natural with their calm aura. The small soups being $5 is perfect price, salad had blue cheese and light in dressing to where it was delicious and not dry if you don't like too much dressing. The bigger ginger soup is in my second photo. The market plate in my 5th photo was nice to have multiple options of different flavors. I visited Westville restaurant yesterday after a long day of traveling. Let's say this place is a gem. The service staff were all friendly, attentive and extremely helpful. They inquired about my food sensitivities; unfortunately for me it's an extremely long list but their chefs were able to prepare me a delicious lunch that was nutritious and very delicious. I had salmon, sweet peas, kale with pumpkin seeds. My tummy was extremely happy without any aches and pain I usually experienced after eating out. I highly recommend Westville because seems like everything that came out of their kitchen look yummy and their patrons were all cleaning their plates.
