This was the worse experience I have ever had with any restaurant! My order was never delivered, even though it said it was delivered. I was waiting the entire time lights on everything.. contacted the restaurant the customer service person was screaming at me because supposedly I messed up the order. Since when do you yell and scream at your customers? If I gave you an wrong telephone number, but the address was correct. Why couldn't you deliver the order if I can track every move that you made and it is not near my house? What the hell are you do you think you have the option to tell me to come pick up an order that was delivered supposedly 40 minutes ago. Bullshit I will never order from here again and I suggest anyone else never order from here again. The customer service was just so freaking rude. I'll never get a dime of my money trust and believe American Express is gonna get my money back. I told them to keep their pizza.
The staffs are friendly. Ate pepperoni pizza on a hot summer day, wanted a cold drink. Pizza was a little on the salty end. Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5
Came here for a slice of pizza and it was quite tasty, well made, and the portion is generous. Definitely worth it. Will definitely come here for more in the future : )
Can only speak for the plain cheese pizza slices aka "The Rita" -- that said, pizza in Bushwick is in safe hands at Sauce and Soda. the slices are on the larger side bc the pies are 20" so the slices are a bit more substantial. the crust is on the crispier side so it has a bit of crunch and flakiness but still a firm airy charred crust that holds up a flavorful tomato sauce and a thin layer of melted mozzarella. the balance of thinness of the slices while still remaining relatively solid and not flopping is a great balance for a delivery of sauce, cheese, and crust. there are a variety of slices here on top of of non-pizza items but i say order the plain 'zza and enjoy the beauty of simplicity. the interior is very very clean. there is seating by the window and small tables that line one side of the pizzeria. the pizza shop is brightly lit and welcoming while still having a modern vibe / look. the service has been quick & friendly and they make sure your slices come out hot not lukewarm.
Fresh from the oven, yummy basil, and the most delicious mozzarella, I'm in pizza heaven. I keep getting lucky with these pizza spots because the pizza hit the spot! What's keeping this from a 5 star review is the cleanliness of the spot. The marinara sauce sits on the counter in a huge container and uncovered. Like anything could fly into it! So ick. Pizza was yummy though.
For the vegans: After a night out this pizza hit the spot! Sauce was on point, and the crust hit! The guys behind the counter were super nice, friendly and with quick service. Me and my date walked in when I saw the large sign for vegan pizza. I was like, "Yo, let's go!" And they had the vegan pepperoni right in the window waiting for me haha. Ambiance was chill and comfortable, and a great place for a tasty plant-based slice to satisfy the craving! Good job Sauce & Soda! You killed it!
Sauce and Soda is a pizza place that I walk by on occasion on my way to get my nails done. It looks like a typical NY pizza slice shop. I told myself one day I will try it out. On a snowy/rainy Saturday, we decided to order it for delivery. We got the Holy Roni and I knew it was going to be big since it says 20", but it was massive! When the pizza box got delivered, I couldn't believe it. Each slice was so big, I wanted to cut it even smaller. I decided I was lazy and folded it in half. The crust was good. I liked the taste, very gluten, but I wish it was more crispy. The sauce I was very tangy. I'm a saucy girl, but it was maybe a little too tart for me. Maybe because the pizza was so thin, the sauce to crust ratio was a little too much for my taste buds. The pepperoni and cheese were pretty standard. The next day, we still had half a pizza left over so I reheated in the oven. Usually, I like to pop it in the air fryer, but slices were too big, it wouldn't fit. The pizza was better the next day since the crust was crispier. I will definitely order again when we have more than 2 people eating.

I popped into Sauce and Soda for the first time yesterday after being enticed by the board outside advertising vegan options. I opted for the vegan slice and a mixed greens salad, which sounded delicious from the description of walnuts, cranberries, and greens mixed together with other ingredients. The slice itself was quite hefty and filling. It could've used some more veggies but overall I would have it again and next time add some red pepper flakes which I was too lazy to grab yesterday. Now the Salad Department is where the points really take a spill. What I got was far from the description on the board and I was not told that they were out of all the ingredients that make up the Mixed Greens Salad because I would've asked for a discount since I still wanted a salad to go with my slice. What I got was a bunch of yellow lettuce with some bell peppers, cucumber, onion, and tomato with dressing which was edible but nowhere near worth $11 and far from the medley of sweet and savory ingredients described on the board. I was offered an additional slice for my disappointment but declined since I wasn't hungry enough. I don't think I'll return anytime soon but would come back if they will actually serve the real Mixed Greens Salad.
This place is a decent spot to grab a slice and people watch. The crust is a little thicker than I'm used to but it's still pretty good and it does have the semolina on the bottom. It's clean, the guy working when I went in was blazed out of his mind. So no true interaction just a glazed over stare and then movement. I'd try it out again. read more
I am very pleased that a place such as Sauce and Soda exists. We were out having drinks on a Friday night, and Sauce and Soda presented itself as a lifesaver to us. Being Angelenos, it's VERY hard to find ANYTHING that is open IN-STORE after 10 or 11pm...even on the weekend!! We were so happy to find this establishment while walking between bars and starting to feel very hungry! Also, it doesn't hurt that the pizza here is also EXCELLENT! Having visited L'Industrie earlier in the week, which I absolutely LOVED, I was very pleasantly surprised to find the pizza slices here to be quite comparable in taste, quality, and size. It's also a very bright, open, warm, and welcoming space within. Service was prompt and efficient, if not a tad bit curt...although I give them grace...considering the fact we were visiting late at night around 2am. Anyways...if it was THAT good when we went in the middle of the night...I feel I can confidently recommend this spot as great for grabbing pizza slices. It's definitely worth a visit, in my book! read more

Me and my date walked in when I saw the large sign for vegan pizza. I was like, "Yo, let's go!" And they had the vegan pepperoni right in the window waiting for me haha. We were going to a concert around the corner, stopped for a beer at Brooklyn Beer, and grabbed a pie at Sauce and Soda. It was amazing. The dough was on point, crisp and perfect. It was heavily cheered and meated. I ordered a to go pepperoni, they had a sausage and pepperoni that was meant for slices that came out first that they offered to me, so I took that. read more

Sauce and Soda's Holy Roni slices arrived piping hot, and with a gracious amount of pepperoni! They were tasty, however the amount of grease on them was overwhleming. It seeped through the paper, the box, and was impossible to eat without being drenched in. In addition, it caused the paper to be stuck to the cheese and pull off when I tried to separate the slices. Good flavor and arrived piping hot, so I will give the benefit of the doubt/another shot! read more

The pizza is very good, if you actually get what you ordered. If you're placing an order, especially towards the end of the day, you might want to call and see if they actually have what you want, because if not they'll just send literally anything. I ordered two ricotta/spinach/tomato slices. They sent two scorched plain slices upon which they put smears of ricotta, a literal plop of spinach in the middle, and some tomatoes. That is not at all the same thing as a ricotta slice. A plain slice has tomato sauce and cheese, how you gonna put the ingredients of a ricotta slice on top of it and call it a ricotta/spinach slice. What they sent legit looks like someone puked a ricotta slice on top of a burnt plain slice and then decided to call it a day. When I called, I was not looking for a refund. I was not even angry. Everyone's doing their best to survive these days. But this is not the first time they did this and I wanted to convey very clearly - if what is ordered is out of stock, CALL and ask what should be sent as a replacement. The manager / (owner?) Roberto was nasty as hell and fully yelled at me "I had none of those slices left. Next time just order an entire pie if that's what you want!" How is telling a customer to order an entire pie the proper response when you sent them some horror slice instead of what was ordered? As good as the pizza is, the manager is rude and nasty and acts like he's doing *you* a favor by letting you be a customer. Next time just order a full pie instead of two slices? Naa, guy. Next time, I'm just gonna order from somewhere else. read more

We were looking for a quick bite & came across this place .. first time around we grabbed some Garlic Knots we had to wait since they were not ready .. totally worth the wait fresh out the oven the Garlic knots were delicious! Next time around we tried the Pepperoni slice , nice big slice & very good nice tasting sauce , cheese & pep. also had garlic knots this still good better fresh out the oven. Good choices they even offer a vegan slice option not bad. Small location , quick service & decent prices banging garlic knots while hot good for a quick bite. read more

I came here on a Saturday around 10 PM and it was pretty empty. This place is not about quick slices in less than five minutes. We ordered the spinach ricotta, pepperoni, and plain cheese slice which came fairly quickly. However the meatballs took a minute as well as the garlic knots. The sauce with the meatballs was amazing as well as the meatballs themselves and the garlic knots are a bit different but also delicious. The owners are Italian which is pretty cool and they are very friendly and warm. You definitely feel like you're in a pizzeria in Italy. read more

In the top 10 best pizzas I've ever had. Got a slice of pepperoni and a slice of mushroom to go. The crust was incredibly perfect. Like it was crispy and chewy at the same time! The layers of dough in the crust were just perfection. 100% recommend trying their pizza. Will be returning for sure. read more
I've been coming to Sauce and Soda for quite some time now, and I absolutely love it. First of all, the size of the pies. This is probably the biggest pie I have ever had delivered to my home while living in Brooklyn. Second of all, the taste. It tastes fantastic. The ingredients are exceptional, and the crust is bomb. I bought two pies for my girlfriend and my friend when he visited, and they both loved it. They rank it high among their top choices of pizza. If you are in the area, you most definitely need to stop by and give this place a try. read more

I literally seen this dude walking eating a thick cheesy slice of pizza in Bushwick. Like the square kind they be having at Prince St pizza, but better. At first I was like nah, but then I was like shit let me ask this dude where he got that pizza from cause it look too good to pass up. Best decision of the day. He sent me right up to the block to Sauce and Soda where he got the slice from. Best pizza I had in a minute and I love pizza. I hate when people make pizza too flat or too thick. This was pretty perfect. Remember, I will not eat bad pizza. I am a pizza snob, but not the nasty ass expensive pizza that taste like a flat bread. I love good quality slices that won't break your pocket. I ended up getting the Vegan slice because it looked so damn good and it was! Plus it was only like 6-7 dollars. Definitely try it at least once, tell me if I'm tripping or not. read more
